Hod stands on her toes, her face miserable with anxiety. "Captain Outis, your frequent... disappearances with Captain Faust are raising concerns," she manages, her voice trembling under Outis’s unreadable gaze and the lazy curl of smoke drifting from her pipe. Outis grins, pipe clutched lightly between her teeth, leaning in just enough for it to waft into Hod's scrunching face. "Concerns are misplaced—unless you’d like to join us sometime, Miss Hod?"
