Summary
It started with a dream. To be honest he’s been having the same dream every night since he was 6. It has been plaguing his day thoughts as well as his nights because the dream is so realistic yet so vague. Some parts are fuzzy like the faces of the people he meets, their bodies too, but the sense of color, or of being is still there.Draco Malfoy has had the same dream every night since he was a child. In it he can hear a song that someone sings but he can't see them. He knows that he knows the people in the dream, but when he wakes up all he can remember are the colors those people represent. He hopes someday that he gets to meet the people in the dream, or the person singing. The strange thing is that he can see one person from the dream almost clear as day, but he can only wake up with their name on the tip of his tongue.

Guardian Interference.

Hogsmead had been essentially evacuated since the attack, well the wizards had been, the monsters stayed put all of them standing behind the three children that were acting as guards facing off against one of the most powerful wizards that had ever existed and his group of pawns. No one had moved since Dumbledore gave the order, and Frisk had a suspicious feeling that it would be bad to go with him to where ever it was he wanted to go. Like they wouldn’t be able to leave afterwards. Frisk, Chara, and Asriel just remained staring at the man before him.

Moody and his ever growing impatience with people who don’t jump when ordered pushed out in front of Dumbledore. “Dumbledore said we need to leave, so we’re leaving. You’re lucky he’s now having you locked up right now.” he gruffed out.

Chara snorted and Asriel gently smacked him on their shoulder. Nevertheless Chara persisted. “Look, I don’t know about you, but I know the one rule in how not to get kidnapped, and that is never go anywhere with anyone to a second location that you know nothing about.” Chara smirked. Moody seemed to grow more annoyed at that. He honestly looked about a second away from smacking the child, but Dumbledore gently put a hand on his arm.

“It is alright child, we are just going to the Headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix. It will be more secure to discuss these matters there.”

“Where is the headquarters located?” Asriel asked, using his inherited cuteness to make himself look innocent. It didn’t work on the people who knew what Asriel was capable of, the ones who remembered the timelines where he tried to rule the world, as both Flowey and Asriel. Which summed it up to essentially Frisk and Sans. Chara wasn’t awoken for those realities unless they were previously so it was safe to say that the reason it didn’t work on Chara was that Chara grew up with the twerp, and thus was immune to the ways of the cute. Dumbledore while immune to a lot of manipulation tactics, also seemed to believe that Asriel was a naive child, so he went with the route he used when he needed to talk to naive children. Manipulation of the most subtle degree.

Unfortunately I cannot tell you the location, it’ll have to be after we arrive there. It is safer for you and your friends-.”

“Siblings.” Asriel cut him off.

“Pardon.” Dumbledore didn’t look too affected by the interruption which isn’t much to say as the man didn’t really look affected by most things. Even in the Battle of the Ministry and the Fight in front of the Forbidden Forest he didn’t so much as looked shocked at the displays of magic and power or even impressed. His eyes just twinkled the same way they always did, as he evaluated everything that was before him. It was annoying as fuck to Frisk and even more so to Chara who worked with shock factors.

“They’re my siblings, not my friends. Siblings.” Asriel’s voice got colder, and his eyes narrowed. It was then that Frisk realized that Asriel didn’t have a lot of time to really sus out Dumbledore as Flowey. They had kept him far away from the old man because there wouldn’t really be any telling what kind of plan he would come up with and use Flowey for, especially if he found out what Flowey had actually been. While powerful, Flowey had been limited in his pot. Asriel, who had more power and less limited fields of movement was safer from the man in that sense. It also helped that Asriel and Chara both had a large distrust of humans and a hatred that may never actually go away, so they were both less likely to trust any human that wasn’t Frisk.

“Also, like why won’t you tell us where you’re taking us. You do know that we are minors right.” Chara pipped in like they currently weren’t probably a century years old. Frisk mentally scoffed, being an undead parasite demon had it’s perks in youthful.  “You would need to either bring our parents with us, or get their permission as well as ours, and you don’t have mine. So don’t even try to touch me, I’ll bite.” Chara gave Dumbledore a very sharp pointed grin at that and Frisk didn’t hesitate to believe that he would in fact bite anyone who tried to touch him.

“Be that as it may I am still the head of the school and am the current guardian in the stead of any parental figures of the students under my care.” He gave Chara a look that had them scowling. “And while you yourself am not under my care, Mr. Malfoy is.” Which is fair. If he wanted to use a good manipulation tactic to get the three murder gremlins to follow him threatening the quiet one would probably be a good way to do it in any other case. However, while Frisk was quiet that didn’t really mean that they were…well good with authority. Even when they didn’t remember their past lives and lived as Draco Malfoy the only authority figure that they had listened to was their father at the time, mostly because Narcissa took a more docile role in the parenting and they remember seeing less of her than of Lucius. Draco Malfoy didn’t respect anyone, even if he was quiet and just went with the flow of everything. Although Frisk never really showed anything that was too rebellious that wasn’t the heist on the Ministry.

That however could be excused as a specific case because it had something to do with the people that they loved. Still Frisk was unsure how Dumbledore was going to play this. “Being as Mr. Malfoy’s guardian is currently indisposed of and I could not reach his mother, the case of caring for him would fall to-”

“My God-Father.” Frisk pipped in. Dumbledore might have had a reaction to that but Frisk wasn’t paying him any attention any longer. They knew that the wizards, much less Dumbledore, would acknowledge Toriel as their appropriate guardian, well not without a fight that is, and what a legal battle that would be. So even if they wanted to say that Dumbledore would have to talk to Toriel about all of this, and maybe Asgore, it wouldn’t really matter in the long term because they still existed as Draco Malfoy to wizarding society, and Draco Malfoy had parents that weren’t monsters.  That didn’t mean that there wasn’t a way out of this though, because Frisk did not want to be taken anywhere without Sans and they had a feeling that Dumbledore wouldn’t allow Sans or Toriel or Undyne, or any of the monsters.

The only way out of this would be to call upon the one connection that they might have actually forgotten about. It wasn’t something that either of them talked about, or was something that was really acknowledged out of the general idea that if something happened to Narcissa and Lucius then Frisk would know who was to take care of them. Hell, even Remus and Sirius had a better connection to Frisk than their actual God-Father. Mostly because their God-Father preferred to be alone and not bothered by anyone or anything. Must suck that he’s a teacher.

Severus gave Frisk a look that seemed to amount to ‘Don’t you fucking dare you brat!’ but they needed him to deny taking them anywhere that wasn’t the castle so that there was backup in case Dumbledore tried anything. Like guilting a child into fighting in his army for the ‘Greater Good!’

“Yes, it would fall to and God-Parent, but I haven’t been notified that there would be anyone taking care of you.” Which was such a weird way to say that you didn’t read the child's file to see if there was anyone that needed to be taken out of the picture so you could get your hands on the weirdly powerful kid. “In such cases as a parental figure going to jail for instance, and a mother failing to respond, it would be up to the God-Parent to step in and notify me or anyone else on staff of Hogwarts that you would be falling into their care, no such memo has been notified to my knowledge.” Was he trying to say that Frisk was unwanted? It felt like he was trying to say that Frisk was unwanted.

“There wouldn’t really be a need to notify anyone on staff if my God-Father was already on staff now wouldn’t there. Especially if he was my head of house.” Frisk turned their eyes away from Severus and looked straight into Dumbledore’s, gently feeling the old man’s legilimency as he brushed through their mind to validate the claims. Severus groaned in dismay at being outed as their godfather.

Frisk felt for the man, they really did. Because they knew that Severus didn’t have anything against them, but they also knew that he had always dreaded the idea of being in charge of a child much less having full guardian ship of one, it was one of the reasons he kept trying to get the DADA position they assumed, so that he wouldn’t have to stay a teacher any longer. He truly hated his job.

“Severus?” Dumbledore turned to look at the man who was holding his face in his hands at the moments, before pulling at it. Frisk noticed that Sirius and Remus, who were in the crowd of the Order of Phoenix members took a step closer to Severus before stopping, seeming to realize that they shouldn’t confront the man now.

“Yes,” he sighed seeming to give up now. “I didn’t think it was needed to notify anyone else as I am the current Head of House and it is typically them that are approached on these matters.” Severus gave Dumbledore a narrowed look, as he approached Frisk. “I would feel it would be more appropriate given the fact that you also have to question to new child additions to have these discussions in Hogwarts as I’m pretty sure the parents want to be involved.” He gave a look to Toriel and Asgore who were still staring at their two missing children in shock and awe, and Frisk winced. That was going to be a conversation.

“Hah, see you can’t take Frisk anywhere.” Chara cheered. Dumbledore sighed and then turned to say something to the other order members who began walking back towards the school. Remus and Sirius hesitated the longest before leaving, unsure what to do about the God-Father situation. Frisk just leaned heavily into Severus, making him flinch before wrapping an arm around their shoulder to keep them steady, the whole thing was just so uncomfortable for the man.

“Frisk?” he asked in a quiet tone.

“Yeah, it’s my name now.” Severus just hummed.
