Well this is New
“Malfoy!” Potter yelped upon seeing them. Frisk flinched; they could already feel Flowey’s questioning gaze from the bag. “What’s going on?” Potter pointed to the souls that were just hovering around Frisk. Frisk glanced at them and then back at Potter, and then at the Death Eaters.
“Nothing!” Frisk panicked and then started ushering the souls into their bag. “Nothing to see here Potter.” Potter raised an eyebrow but didn’t say anything. Finally, all of the souls were in the bag and Frisk looked up in time to see that they now had new visitors. It was so nice of everyone to be so confused that they let the young child put a bunch of floating upside-down hearts into their bag.
Now there was Voldemort, and what Frisk can only assume is the Order of the Phoenix, from what Remus had told them. Remus raised an eyebrow at the blond and Frisk grinned in return.
“Well. I got what I came for.” Frisk hiked the bag higher up their shoulders and turned to leave, but they were stopped by a gray hand reaching out to grab them. They jumped away before they were touched and kept the bag to the veil. If need be, they’d throw the bag into the veil, and pray that the person on the other side would keep them safe.
“Young Malfoy. It seems that you have gotten something from the veil.” Voldemort gestured to the veil, and Frisk felt the hair on the back of their neck raise. This was not good. “I am interested about what those hearts were.” Voldemort purred, reaching his hand out to touch the bag, and Frisk felt like they were going to throw up. Frisk backed up before he could touch the bag, but Voldemort had saw something green and yellow peak out from the flap. “What’s that? I don’t remember one of those hearts being yellow.” Frisk froze, dammit Flowey.
“Oh, there wasn’t. That doesn’t matter though. It seemed like you lot,” they swept their arm to bring Voldemort’s attention back to the group that looked like they were fighting, “were doing something. That seems more important that a bunch of glowing hearts. Now, I’ll let you get to that, I’ll be going.” Frisk said backing up.
“Well to have the ability, to control the veil. It seems more valuable than some prophecy. Why don’t you show me what you have in your bag, and I’ll reward you and your family handsomely, huh?” Frisk froze. Their eyes flashed red, and everyone saw that. Their posture changed, growing more confident, arrogant even. Sirius felt his heart both drop and soar at the prospect of Chara actually murdering Voldemort, and then possibly everyone in the room.
“So, let me get this straight. You want me to hand over the souls I have in my bag.” Remus gasped at the admission, and a few people turned to look at him, but he gave no explanation. He could only think of one thing, and it was very bad, also very dangerous for everyone to currently be in the room with Chara in control. Remus glanced around at the other Order members and saw that while they were all prepared to fight none of them looked too keen on leaving something called ‘souls’ in the hands of a Malfoy. This was not going to end well.
Harry mouthed the word ‘souls?’ “You want me to give up what I literally spent years searching for, all for what?” Chara scoffed. “A bit of recognition that will later get me killed. First pick at getting tortured. Oh, I know. To keep you from killing the parents I could give two shits about.” Chara noticed with glee the fact that Lucious flinched at the end of that, well it wasn’t their problem if he was a shit dad, should have parented better. Chara paused as if in thought. “I’ll go with, no~” they hummed and then punched Voldemort in the face.
Several people in the room gasped as the dark lord stumbled back from the punch. Chara relied on Frisk to dodge the killing curse that was sent to them by some crazy woman with wild hair. ‘That’s aunt Bella, I think.’ Frisk thought to Chara and Chara had to wonder what kind of crazed god gave this child so many horrible family members. From there they were dodging a bunch of spells sent by the Death Eaters, as one of them went to collect Voldemort from the ground. Frisk stumbled a bit; they were moving too fast for this body and a spell almost hit them. They raised their arm to block it out of habit when suddenly a green shield appeared, and the spell dissolved into it.
Frisk looked and saw that Undyne’s soul had slipped out. It was hovering in front of them and was glowing. Most likely the cause of the shield. Now that Frisk thought about it, it reminded them of the shield, stick, thing that they got when they were battling Undyne in the underground.
“Oh yeah.” Chara grinned, the shield vanishing as they put their arm down. “I can work with this.” They grabbed Undyne’s soul before a spell could hit her and jumping out of the way. Almost immediately did the soul begin to glow and then suddenly a spear appeared in front of them like a shield blocking the spell that would have hit them. Frisk knew that spear, and so did Chara. Undyne was after all a monster that you couldn’t really get by with just Mercy, you also had to fight or sometimes run, so they both knew it when they saw her spear appear in front of them.
“Sick!” Chara grinned grabbing the spear and spinning it around like they had seen Undyne do, by now the bright green light had faded and now the Death Eaters had clear view of one Draco Malfoy holding a spear in one hand, with a heart attached to the golden locket around his neck. His eyes were glowing green, and he looked slightly deranged with power.
“Alright, bitches let’s do this Chara’s way.” Chara grinning something dark and feral before leaping backwards and onto a shelf behind them that was holding the records for the archway. “I’ve always wanted to do this.” They grinned before twirling the spear to block another spell and twisting their hands in a motion that caused spears from the right side of the room to appear and launch themselves at the Death Eaters. “So, I can use their powers, well, alright.” They looked at the group below them, they watched how the order members looked like they wanted to join the fight, but also like they didn’t want to get stabbed with a spear. “Let’s see what you lot think when you see how an actual monster fights.” Chara reached up and gently removed Undyne’s souls from the locket before handing it to Flowey who put it back in the bag with him. “Asgore, hey want to help out?”
Asgore’s soul flew out of the gap in the bag that Flowey had opened for it and attached itself to the locket. The spear, which had faded when they unattached Undyne formed again before quickly turning into a crimson red trident. “Alright, time to feel the burn!” Chara waved their hands and suddenly fireballs flew out at them and launched themselves at the Death Eaters, managing to burn one in the side really badly, where the spears had all been dodged. Chara jumped down and ran with the trident at a random Death Eater when suddenly a bright and dramatic drama queen of a soul launched itself out of the bag, dodging Flowey’s attempts at catching it, and rammed itself in the king’s place, knocking Asgore out of the hold on the locket, and into Flowey’s awaiting petals.
It just so happened that at that moment Aurors arrived on seen along with the Minister of Magic. Who saw Flowey before he could duck back into the bag, actually everyone saw Flowey before he could duck back into the bag, because life hated Frisk. The fighting stopped momentarily, and all Chara could do was groan.
