queen of Zaun and king of Firelights

Ekko stood in the wreck of what was Piltover. The white bots scattered across the wreck of buildings and floor.

Mel was holding Cait up on her shoulder as Caitlyn winced with every step, “hey.. You’re the dude that kidnapped me and Vi..” Cait said whilst Mel sat her down against a rock
“Ekko. Talking about Vi, where is she? And JInx?” Ekko questioned, Cait’s face twitching with anger slightly just at Jinx’s name.

Speaking of the devil, Vi soon climbed out of a wreck of what was the building, looking a mix of shock and sadness.
“Vi!” Cait stands up, trying her best to run over the the pink haired girl, hugging her.
“Hey.. cupcake.” Vi said softly. Sounding just a tiny bit traumatized.

“Vi, what.. Where’s Jinx?” Ekko questioned, taking off his mask and grabbing his board before walking over to her.
“Jinx…” Vi’s voice trailed off as tears welled up in her eyes, “Jinx’s gone.” She said as flatly as she could, trying to seem alright. Caitlyn looked up in surprise, staring at her teary eyed girlfriend, before looking back at Ekko, who’s wearing the same expression.

‘Hey, space boy!’
‘Genius and madness!’
‘Ya think so, buster?’
‘Oh look who it is! The Boy Saviour!’

‘Of course its you.. It just had to be you..’
‘It worked! Vi, my monkey bomb worked!’
‘Are you..real?’
‘POWDER Fell down a well.’

Ekko and Vi stared at each other, Mel walking over and putting a hand on Ekko’s shoulder, whom retaliates away from her hand. Still not fond of the councilors.
“No. Vi, that can’t be true! Jinx is–well, Jinx! She wouldn’t let death stop her.” Cait said, leaning out of the hug slightly to look at her.
“Yeah! She would’ve made it out somehow.” Mel added

‘I didn’t know your mom was in there.’
‘Who’s she?’
‘Get rid of her, please.’

“I watched it happen! She’s gone.” Vi yelled, before lowering her voice.
“Pow… Jinx.. is dead?” Ekko finally spoke up, raising his eyebrows.

~3 months later~

Ekko walked through the streets of Zaun, it had finally been long enough to the point that kids were able to play with smiles on their faces, and adults trusting their teens to go out alone. The remnants of what happened were still scattered around on the streets.

“Hi Ekko!” A child called, running past the man
“Hey, Dandelion.” He yelled while she ran past, smiling softly. Running his hand along the remembrance wall next to the firelight tree.
The newest addition made it feel complete.
A painted Jinx, and a crown drawn with chalk above her head. They were still in the process of Isha.
Ekko never met this Isha kid, but according to Vi and Sevika, Jinx really liked her. And the queen of Zaun deserves to be next to her princess, even if it’s on a wall.

“Ekko,” Heimerdinger walked up to the blond man, “we’d like for you to see this.”
“We?” Ekko asked, a smirk making its way onto his face, “lead the way, professor.”
Ekko and Heimerdinger walked around the firelight tree, until they made it to the room they had kept Cait in, there being a person tied to very same chunk of wood.
“I have a feeling you’ll like this discovery.” Heimerdinger said, before walking closer to the person and pulling the sack off their head. Ekko gasped at the sight of the blue hair
“Heh. We meet again, Boy Saviour.” Jinx laughed, looking up at the man.
Ekko probably should’ve taken out a weapon or something, knowing what Jinx has done, but all he could bring himself to do was run over and crouch down, wrapping his arms around the blue-haired girl
“Jinx!” He yelled, “you-you-! I thought you were dead.” He said, trying to not tear up
“All of Zaun thinks that, and Piltover. Except for Sevika. She knows,” Jinx smiles, “and now, so do you. And professor.”
“Yes, thank you for the honorable mention, Jinx.” Heimerdinger adds
“Just wait until you see the remembrance wall! Wait, no, we’re not finished that little girl, are we?”
“No, we are not, Ekko.” Heimerdinger replies
“Forget I said anything.”
Jinx laughs, and Ekko loosens the ropes around her torso, “little girl? What do you mean?”
“It’s a surprise!”

~i dont know a couple hours later~

Ekko had finally finished Isha, and had gotten Jinx. Leading her by her hand with her hand over her eyes. Anyone who caught eye of this gasped. The queen of Zaun was back?
The townspeople of the Firelights Tree crowded. And some already were bundling around the remembrance wall like a murder of crows.
“Bluey? Open your eyes.” Ekko whispered to his queen of Zaun, nudging her shoulder
“Finally, geez,” she let her hands drop from her eyes, but soon those same eyes were set on the wall, shock bedazzling her expression “..you made this?”
“Not fully me, they helped,” Ekko gestures to the crowd of Firelights, “but it was my idea. And Vis’.” Ekko watched as Jinx took a step closer, running her hand along Isha’s piece.

Jinx looked back, smiling. Happy tears welling up in her eyes. She turned around fully and ran towards Ekko, pulling her childhood friend into the tightest hug you can imagine
“Yeah, yeah. Welcome back.” Her king of the firelights said with a sarcastic smile, wrapping his arms around her.

~idk later the night lmfaoo~

JInx and Ekko were sitting on on edge of a building, Ekko was sitting with his legs crossed, and Jinx was dangling her legs down the side.
“Okay, but the crown?” Jinx asked, whilst raising her eyebrows
“Shut up.” Ekko hit her shoulder, earning a chuckle in response, “it was Heimerdinger’s idea..”
Jinx looks over at Ekko, the softest smile on her face.
Then, it happened. It felt like a mix of confusion and love, Ekko could feel his stomach doing flips, and Jinx wrapped her arms around his waist softly. Time seemed to stop as it went on, and Ekko could hear his heart beating in his ears.
Jinx pulled back ever so slightly for a breath. They. They just kissed.
“Yeah–um, hi..” Ekko stuttered softly, causing a chuckle to come from the blue-haired woman, his queen of Zaun.
“Hey, Boy Saviour..” JInx said with a smile, Ekko pushing her back by her shoulder in retaliation, her king of Firelights.
