Harry Potter and the Vegas Wedding 1

Harry woke up confused and warm; he wasn't sure where he was. Eyes still closed, he tried to remember going to bed last night but things grew foggy after he left the Las Vegas Strip for Imor Alley, the magical section of Las Vegas. Had he been drinking? He vaguely remembered Tonks giving him a few drinks, trying to cheer him up. She hadn't been in much better shape either.

For a brief moment, Harry wished he could have forgotten why he was here. Trust Sirius to have as a clause of his will that Harry had to go to Las Vegas to inherit. That was the only reason Dumbledore had allowed him to come here; otherwise, they'd have to leave Grimmauld Place.

Moving slowly, he blinked, eyes opening wide as the soft warmth pressing against his skin registered to his conscious mind. To one side of him was a beautiful girl with long blonde hair. To the other was Tonks, her pink hair framing her lovely features as she slept.

Both were naked.

"What the hell?" muttered Harry, staring in shock. For a brief moment, he considered the idea that he was dreaming, what with having two girls in the same bed as him. Said idea died a whimpering death as the blonde opened her eyes and said sleepily as she snuggled against him, "Morning."

As she woke up completely the girl's eyes suddenly opened wide and she looked around quickly, her gaze moving from Harry to Tonks and back, "Oh my." Her cheeks went red as she lifted the bed sheet to partially cover her body and she managed, "Hello there."

"Hello," was all Harry managed for a long moment, not sure what to say. The silence stretched on, before he finally spoke, "I'm sorry, I just don't know what to say in this situation." He also wasn't sure how to tell her he only had vague memories of meeting her and had no clue how they ended up in bed together.

Luckily for him, she took it out of his hands. "You don't remember much about last night, do you?" Her voice was amused.

"That obvious, huh?" Harry said with a sigh, a bit surprised that she wasn't screaming at him. "I think I was a little drunk."

"Quite obvious, yes. You definitely have a 'deer in the headlights' look to you," she said with a laugh, her voice a soft soprano. "And you were far past drunk. A friend of mine took me to Imor Alley and I saw you in one of the casinos. You were making an absolute killing at the tables and Tonks kept giving you drinks." She paused before adding with a smile, "I really liked that firewhiskey."

Harry felt like facepalming. "Of course," he said with a sigh. Tonks was solid when it mattered, but she had a mischievous streak. "Then?"

"Well, you started flirting with me," the girl admitted, "And I liked it. You didn't seem to know who I was and that's rare. I tried a few of the drinks myself and was surprised when they managed to get me tipsy. I guess it was the magic." She shrugged, "Anyway, then you started flirting with Tonks too and one thing led to another and here we are." Her eyes twinkled, "Let me tell you, it's a shame you don't remember last night because I sure do. If you're really nice, I might show you when Tonks wakes up."

Harry's face turned bright red. "I, uh..." He cleared his throat, "I..." Part of him wanted to ask for details. The other part was far too embarrassed about not remembering. "It's rare that people don't know who you are?" He wrinkled his nose, "That sounds rather familiar. What's your name?"

"Your face!" the girl laughed softly, "Relax. We didn't do the deed. You were quite the gentleman. You didn't want our first time to be a drunken escapade; it was sweet." She shrugged, "And I'm Kara Kent." She paused, "Or I guess, Kara Potter, now."

Somewhat relieved by her first statements, it takes a few moments for Harry to register Kara's bombshell. When he does, he stares at her, "What?!"

Kara giggled at him again and shrugged, "I was surprised myself. By that time you were pretty drunk and I think Tonks over there was almost as drunk as you were. I wasn't quite as far gone as you two but was still pretty tipsy. You were talking about wanting a family and how beautiful we both were, got on your knees, and proposed." Her face grew serious, "I probably should have said no or at least had you wait, but... I don't know. Something made me say yes. You were so sweet. And Tonks was funny."

Harry was married. Married. He was married. The thought continued to repeat in his head. "I proposed to both you and Tonks?" His voice was incredulous. How drunk was he.

"Yes. Then we went to a chapel in Imor Alley. Thus Kara Potter. Technically, I guess I should be calling her Black now. Nymphadora Black," Kara said with a smile.

"Don' call me Nymphadora," muttered a voice as the pink-haired woman woke up. She blinked as she realized where she was and how closely she was holding Harry, "H-Harry?" She stared, "What are we doing in bed together?" As she stared at him and Kara, she began to have vague memories of the night before, "Oh...oh no." She hid her face in the pillow, her pink locks turning bright red in her embarrassment.

"Tonks?" Harry said after a moment, "Are you all right?"

"No. I'm going to die right here. Of embarrassment. I was supposed to look out for you," Tonks lamented.

"What?" Kara asked innocently. "You can look out for him better as his wife can't you?" For some reason, she found this entire situation hilarious. "I know you found him cute."

"Not. Helping." Tonks said, before sitting up and looking up at Kara as she tried to turn the tables on the other girl, "I found you cute too," she said with a smirk, not bothering to cover herself. Embarrassed about getting married? Sure. Tonks had few issues with her body, however.

Kara rolled her eyes, "Zatanna's one of my best friends. Flirting isn't going to phase me, sorry." She grinned, "I appreciate the compliment, though."

"Not to interrupt, but what now? Can't we, I don't know, divorce?" Harry looked at Kara and Tonks, "I don't want to ruin your lives." Trust Harry to think in such a way. It was a result of living with people who hated him.

Kara opened her mouth to respond, a slight frown on her features when Tonks beat her to it. "We can't. We were married magically, oaths and all. You can't just cancel those. If we tried, we'd lose our magic and at best become squibs. At worst, we'd die. I don't know what it'll do to Kara, but I know it wouldn't be pleasant." She added, "And stop it. You're not ruining our lives. Last time I checked, I was the adult and you were at least as drunk as I was."

"And I wasn't as drunk as you two and was willing so if anyone's to blame it's me," Kara said after a moment with a shrug. "I say we make the best of it. I mean, Harry, you have two hot women married to you, live the dream." She's back to teasing.

The impish look Tonks sent Kara gave Harry a chill. He was doomed. "I just..." He shrugged, "Don't you both want to like, date, fall in love, all of that?"

"I don't see why we can't date." Kara smiled at him. "I'll be honest, Harry. I have a difficult life and I have a lot of important stuff to do. Having someone by my side who cares about me for me is important to me. You do I think, and Tonks does as well. Though she recognized me."

"You mentioned that before," Harry said with a slight shake of his head, "You're famous? Who are you?"

"She's Supergirl," Tonks chimed in with a smirk. "Strongest girl in the world except maybe Wonder Woman. An alien from another planet. Y'know?"

"No...no, I don't know," Harry said in confusion. He looked at Kara. Blonde. Slender. Incredibly cute. "You're the strongest girl in the world and an alien? Like in Star Wars?" While he never really experienced pop culture at the Dursleys, everyone knew Star Wars!

Kara's lips twitched, "Not exactly Star Wars. But yeah." She sounded amused. "You really have no clue about me, do you?" She sounded rather pleased about the idea. "You magicals have your heads in the sand," she said with a sigh.

"Tell me about it," Harry sighed. "I'm stuck in a school ten months of the year, and the other two..." He trailed off and shrugged.

"The other two?" prompted Kara.

"He's stuck in a house with relatives who hate him," Tonks said bitterly. "I tried to get him out of it a few times, but Dumbledore always insisted and they are technically his guardians."

"You did?" Harry stared at Tonks in shock.

"Of course I did, Harry. You're a good guy and they treated you horribly," Tonks said, making a face. "I was really tempted to bring my bosses at the DMLE into the situation. I honestly would have if you were younger." She shrugged, looking embarrassed, "Instead, I kind of... threatened them on the sly."

"Well. We won't let him go back there anymore then," Kara said after a moment's thought, frowning. "We'll have to find a way to make sure he never goes back."

Harry just kept staring at Tonks. Then, forgetting she was naked, he leaned forward and hugged her tightly. "Thank you, Tonks." It was only after thanking her that he realized that he was sitting there. Naked. Hugging a very naked Tonks. He squeaked and let go, blushing.

Tonks' cheeks were also red, but she simply soldiered on even as Kara giggled at them. She didn't let go, though, her arm still around Harry's waist, "Honestly?" The metamorphmagus said after a moment's thought, blinking, "We already have. He's married. The fact that the oaths took means he's an adult. No one can say otherwise. As such, he can decide for himself where he lives."

"Wait...being married means I'm an adult?" Harry glanced at Tonks.

"Yes. A magical marriage is considered a magical oath and is binding. A child cannot enter into a marriage oath. Their own magic wouldn't accept the oath." Tonks suddenly grinned, "So, the fact that the oath took means you are an adult. Or to be more precise, you swore an oath and your magic accepted it so that means you're mature enough to be considered an adult. Being married makes you one. They can't force you to break a marriage oath after all so the law takes that into account."

"Wait, how does that work for me? I don't have any magic," Kara pointed out.

"Actually, you do," Tonks said. She paused, "Well, I assume so. Everyone on Earth does, and the fact that the marriage oaths took suggests you do. Muggles--non-magicals--simply have only a tiny amount and cannot access it. Or in other words, you have a teaspoon's worth of magic but your teaspoon is a sieve. Squibs might have a cup's worth but again, mostly a sieve. The average wizard or witch might have a large basin." She shrugged. "Or something like that. My mum's a healer, you pick up a few things." Suddenly, she paled, "Oh, Morgana, I have to tell my mum that I'm married."

Kara began to laugh again before she blanched, "I don't know how I'm going to tell Clark."

"Clark?" came Harry's question.

"My cousin," Kara answered with a sigh.

"Suddenly I'm glad I'm an orphan," quipped Harry, darkly amused. "I don't have to worry about telling anyone."

"No. You just have to worry about my mum and dad liking you. Or Kara's cousin, for that matter," joked Tonks.

"Suddenly I'm worried too," Harry said dryly.

The trio continued to talk for a while before there was a knock on the door. Quickly slipping a bathrobe on, Harry went to the door and answered it. In front of him was a large man in a set of rather ornate robes. "Mr Potter?"

"Yes?" Harry asked, even as behind him Tonks lifted the sheet to hide herself. Letting her new husband see her was one thing, but not a stranger.

"This was delivered from Gringotts Las Vegas," the man declared, offering Harry what looked like a roll of parchment.

"Oh?" Blinking, Harry nodded, "Thank you, sir." The man nodded and quietly shut the door. Harry wandered back to the bed and settled onto it near Kara and Tonks. Or was it Black now? Opening the parchment, he blinked, "Bloody hell."

"What?" Tonks asked, casually resting her head on his shoulder as she looked down. She smiled slightly as she saw Harry redden at her proximity. "You aren't kidding. What the hell?" Her gaze fell upon the name of the vault the money was transferred from and started to snicker, "Oh. I see."

"What?" asked Kara, moving closer to glance at the parchment. "Uh...what's the current conversion rate for Galleons to Dollars?"

"I didn't realize you won that much," Tonks said with a smirk. "You were winning like crazy at the poker tables. Idiots at the casino you were at had no limits at the tables. Probably because they cheat, though I can't prove it. Then you went over to the roulette tables and bet your entire winnings on number seven. You won. They were really upset and asked you to leave. They said they'd transfer your winnings through Gringotts. Probably didn't want to, but way too many people saw you winning. A few people even recorded it on their phones." Almost as an afterthought, she answered Kara, "I think it's around fifty-five dollars per galleon?"

"And he won over six million galleons?" Kara yelped.

"Yuuuup," Tonks said, drawing out the word. "They're probably pissed. You likely cleaned them out."

"This is just bloody crazy," Harry said after a moment. "Last night I made a fortune and married two beautiful girls?"

"Oh, smooth," Kara said with a smile, "Keep that up and we'll all do fine."

"He has potential, right?" Tonks said with a grin. "I guess I should admit that I always thought he was cute. He would do the gardening in this tight shirt and it was totally yum." She's not lying but she's also saying it to tease Harry.

"Tonks!" Right on schedule, Harry blushed, "Stop it."

"Oh, I can see that. He's not incredibly muscular but he's certainly fit," Kara joined in the teasing, which caused Harry to blush harder.

"You two are mean," Harry said with a sigh. He ran his fingers through his hair, "We should get up and get dressed."

"Aww, and here I was hoping you'd give me a nice morning tumble," teased Tonks.

"That's a little too far, Tonks," said Kara, noting Harry's blush turning positively incandescent. "I'm sure that'll happen eventually though," she added as she leaned over, kissing Harry on his cheek and rising to walk towards the bathroom, covering herself with a nearby bathrobe.

Pouting slightly, Tonks said to Harry, "Sorry, Harry. You're just so cute when you blush." She leaned over to kiss his cheek as well then got up. Not bothering to cover herself, she headed to the bathroom. "You can shower when we're done, hubby."

Harry couldn't help it. He watched Tonks head into the bathroom, flushing further as he saw her sway her hips as she walked. Rubbing his brow, he got up and selected clothing from his trunk. He was having problems wrapping his mind around the fact that he was married. It certainly took his mind off of Sirius, though.

It took less than fifteen minutes for Kara and Tonks to get ready, and soon Harry took his own shower and was dressed. "What do we do now?"

"Well, how about a nice date?" suggested Kara easily. "You're here in Las Vegas, might as well do something fun right? We could go see the Fremont Street Experience."

"Fremont Street Experience?" asked Tonks in confusion.

"Big pedestrian mall off Fremont Street. There are lots of stores, kiosks, and carts," Kara said to her with a smile. "I heard from Zatanna that it was really fun. I was going to go with her, but as we're all together now..." She shrugged.

"Who is this Zatanna, anyway?" Harry asked curiously.

"She's a little like you, though her magic is different," Kara answered as she took Harry's hand in her own. "She casts her spells by saying things backwards."

"Er, what?" Tonks wondered. "You mean if she wanted to open a lock she'd say Nepo?" She paused, "That's easier than memorizing Alohomora, I guess."

"Now I want to try that," Harry murmured to himself, trying to ignore it as Tonks took his other hand. "All right, let's head to this Fremont Street then."

"Good!" Tonks said as they took the elevator towards the lobby. "I'm hungry, so hopefully we can pick up food while we're there. Any good fish shops?" she asked Kara.

"I'm sure there are, though I don't know if they'll be like the ones in Britain. In my experience, even the same foods sometimes taste differently depending on where you're from," Kara said with a shrug.

"I'm fine with anything," admitted Harry as they headed towards the doors of the hotel. Emerging onto the street, he looked around, "Ah, there's the exit of Imor Alley," he said, pointing to a mural of Las Vegas Boulevard. Approaching the mural, he touched it and stepped through it, emerging into an alley leading to the said street.

Once they emerged from the other side, both Kara and Tonks grabbed Harry's arms. Moving towards the main thoroughfare, Tonks said brightly, "I'm kind of looking forward to this. I haven't been on a date in months."

"I am too. Even if we're kind of doing things in reverse," Kara said with a smile as she squeezed Harry's harm gently.

Meanwhile, Harry was just hoping he didn't screw anything up. "Shall we flag down a taxi?" he suggested.

"Probably best. I could apparate us if I'd been there before, but I haven't, and I don't have any apparition coordinates either," Tonks said quietly. She suddenly grinned, "We could have Kara fly us."

Kara gave her a look, "I am not playing taxi."

"But you could princess carry Harry and give me a piggy-back ride!" Tonks said this as if she was encouraging her.

"No."

Harry wisely kept his mouth shut. He certainly didn't want to be princess-carried. It'd be embarrassing.

"You're so mean!" Tonks said as Harry tried to flag down a taxi.

Suddenly, he found himself pushed to the side as Kara yelled, "Watch out!" A car was flying towards them and Kara caught it, setting it to the side. Standing a distance away was a black and silver woman. "Silver Banshee. What is she doing here?" asked Kara.

"Harry James Potter," the woman said with a smirk. "I'm here to end you."

"Cover your ears, Harry!" Kara cried out as she flew forward towards the strange woman.

All Harry could think was Muggle Las Vegas was so much stranger than Muggle London.
