Reborn Devil and Dragon 1
Izuku Midoriya stood with his classmates and watched in horror as their teacher dashed into the center of the group of villains in the plaza. They didn't seem like much, but it was still far too many for the Erasure Hero to deal with on his own.
Suddenly, there was a swirl of darkness, and the strange, shadowy figure appeared among them. Beside him stood a white-haired woman wearing a black kimono. "Good morning, children. Could you tell us where All Might is?" His tone was oddly polite, though there was a hint of menace within it.
"Don't be rude, Kurogiri," chided the woman beside him. "We should introduce ourselves first." She bowed at the waist, a slight smile on her features. "This is Kurogiri and I am known as Priestess. He is here for All Might. I am here for you, children."
Izuku's eyes opened wide. Priestess. She was a legend on the internet. Speculation on her quirk was rampant. All people knew is once she faced a hero...they retired. Some said her quirk broke heroes, rendering them unable to risk themselves. Others said that she had a strange mind control quirk.
He'd never heard of anyone - other than her victims - who knew for sure.
"Oh, one of you have heard of me," the woman said brightly. "I'm so glad. I think you'll be one of my targets, young man. And perhaps that young woman standing beside you." She smirked, gesturing with two fingers. The fingers extended at lightning speed and struck her victims, who immediately collapsed.
Izuku Midoriya and Momo Yaororozu.
"I would send them away before they wake up. They will most likely go berserk and attack each other, but you never know. A rare few are able to focus their ire on those who they perceive as enemies. You can scatter them after I make my choices," Priestess told Kurogiri. Even as she spoke, her gaze wandered the class, "Who else shall be my victims?"
Izuku and Yaoyorozu disappeared in a swirl of shadows. Thirteen called to the students, "Don't let her touch you!"
"Don't worry, Thirteen, I don't like killing. I simply plan on destroying their future. Not yours," Priestess said with a smirk. "I'm ever so curious whether those two will fight each other," she stated brightly as if watching her very own television show. "We'll see soon, they only have a few more seconds before they recover."
In the distance, there was an explosion of red-green light and then reddish-black.
"Oh my, it seems that they woke up," Priestess said. She lifted her index finger, watching as it glowed blue, "Fascinating. She's strong. But...oh, these abilities. I didn't know this was possible. This is bad." She looked at Kurogiri, "We have to leave now. She alone could turn the tide."
"What about the other one?"
Slowly, Priestess extended her middle finger. She paled. She whispered, "No. It's not possible. It couldn't be. My quirk doesn't work that way, does it? He's actually conscious. He shouldn't be! And these abilities. How? We must leave now!" She looked at Kurogiri frantically, "We have to leave!"
A deep voice echoed through the complex. "WELSH DRAGON BALANCE BREAKER!"
