Chaos
“Holy shit.” It was all Dream could say. The maze had fallen to the ground and it was a full blown warzone. All the American officials had fled the scene and in their place was a fleet of aurors. Leading the charge was Ms. Ari X. Her patronuses glowed beautifully in the night. On the opposite side was Philza Minecraft, and perhaps now Dream knew why he was called the angel of death.
Philza Minecraft could control dementors, and he’d summoned hundreds of them.
The entire place was frigid, and it seemed the only person able to truly fight the raven was Ari herself. Her white wings contrast with the enemy’s deep black and gray feathers. They dueled in the skies whilst Ari’s patronuses worked to save the aurors below. Sapnap, Punz, Sam, Ranboo, and Ant ran up to their friend beneath the chaos.
“Come on! We gotta help them out!” Sapnap yelled as they ran over
“Are you crazy? What would Bad think?” Sam replied.
“I don’t care! Let’s show them what we’ve learned!” Punz said.
“Fine, but Ranboo shouldn’t be here. He’s too young.” Sam replied. “Come on, let’s get out of here.” The two hybrids fled the scene as Ant began to heal Dream’s injuries.
“What’s going on?” Dream asked groggily.
“Ms. Ari told us all yesterday. The whole maze was a trap. You were never supposed to win.” Sapnap replied. “The cup was a portkey. Technoblade is a spy, and the whole purpose was to capture him.”
“Techno was a spy? How.. how could…”
“He’s Philza’s son.”
“Where are my children, Ari! What have you done!” Phil yelled as he clashed with the dove. Her raven patronus kept blinding him whilst the ram was defending against his dementors.
“You know it’s not always my fault!” Ari yelled back. “Maybe I was just following orders!”
“You could have warned me! You could have at least protected the kids!” Phil yelled.
“Why should I? Schlatt has been a much better friend than you ever have been!” Ari screamed, sending flames at the raven. “And they’re not much of kids anymore.”
“You wouldn’t understand.” Phil replied softly. Both continued to clash, drawing swords forged from hell itself. Clangs of metal could be heard throughout the battlefield. The sun showed as dawn slowly began to approach. Light began to dance around the two, but not just from the sun. Ari’s student’s own patronuses had emerged from the darkness and cold of the dementors.
A Fire-dwelling Salamander, a Hippogriff, an Occamy, and a Dragon. Punz, Sapnap, Ant, and Dream had joined the fight.
“Impressive aren’t they. All in their last year too. They will make up one of the most elite squads of aurors this nation has ever seen.” Ari bragged, her own ram returned to float next to the raven now that it didn’t need to defend others.
“Schlatt’s gone insane! They are still children!” Phil yelled back, sword cutting through the air ferociously.
“They’re eighteen. They can think for themselves.” Ari replied with a smirk. “As for you, well it’s time for you to go down.” The raven and ram began to shift and transform into two familiar silhouettes. A horned man and winged man. They both held wands that began to shoot beams of light at Philza.
“No way.”
“You were my friends once after all.”
“LET ME OUT! YOU CAN’T DO THIS!” Technoblade yelled angrily, snapping his teeth and tusks at Schlatt from behind the bars.
“Actually, I’m the President. So I can do whatever the hell I want.” Schlatt replied with a smirk, pouring himself another shot of whiskey. “Face it piggy, I’ve won. You and your father aren’t so smart after all.”
“Who… who told you? How did you know!?” Techno growled.
“Well, in exchange for the vice presidency after I kill Quackity, Eret was more than happy to tell me everything I needed to know. After all, everyone wants power.” Schlatt replied. Eret? Techno knew him and Wilbur were friends and… Eret was half veela. He could’ve gotten anything out of Wilbur if he wanted.
“Why would you kill Quackity? He’s nothing but loyal to you.” Technoblade probed more.
“He’s useless to me now, and, besides, I find him annoying.” Schlatt replied with a smirk and yet another shot.
Phil’s wings were torn and bleeding. He’d been sent plummeting to the ground by Ari who was now wiping the floor with his dementors.
“Hey, Philza, take this.” Phil belarily looked over to see… Quackity? “It’s a portkey to a safehouse. Take it.”
“Why… why should I trust you?” He gasped in air, head beginning to throb.
“Schlatt means to kill me. This is my only option.” Quackity replied, placing the portkey in his hands and the two whirled away.
