Now if you know my sisters story then you’ve probably heard tales of Neverland the place where lost boys go. That was until I was taken. You see for years Peter Pan search for my nephew Henry but in his searched he could never turn down the opportunity of more power, that’s why he took me.
It was people like pan everyone always tried to keep me safe from, someone with an agenda. But that night I let down my guard and he took me, at 12 years old I was taken from a place I was loved to somewhere I was just a pawn in someone else’s game. I guess that’s how I earned Pan’s favour I was the most powerful so I was the golden child, his prodigy, I was the only lost girl he ever took that must mean something.
He always kept me close as if he thought someone would take me but no one ever came. I use to think it was because no one cared but now I know that it’s because you can get into Neverland but no one ever gets out or so I thought.
I never met Baelfire, I know now that he is Henry’s father but before I only knew him as the only person to ever leave Neverland without Pan’s permission. He was like a legend to the lost boys, they would always tell tales of the brilliant Baelfire. I saw many people try to leave Neverland some more prepared than others but non succeeded, most died from dreamshade poisoning, others starvation or insanity usually. This is where pan found me most useful. Neverland is an island surrounded by water so when people tried to leave Pan made me drown them using my powers. I never wanted to hurt people but I had no choice, he gave me no choice.
Even though Neverland took so much from me it still helped me in a twisted way, it kept me safe from the prophecy. You see there is a Greek prophecy that is centuries old about the oldest three Gods offspring, that if one of us should turn 16 we could preserve or raze Olympus. So the eldest three swore not to procreate but obviously that promise was broken by both my father and Zeus. This lead to hades trying to kill me and Thalia in our youth to prevent the curse,he succeeded technically by “killing” Thalia and everyone believed I was dead so he never came after me. I believe it was hades Pan feared most now that I think back. The fact is that I turned 16 in Neverland, my mind aged but my body didn’t creating a loophole, also with the fact that Zeus preserved Thalia in her tree meaning she was technically still alive. Physically Thalia turned 16 before me, so even if I was the first offspring to activate the prophecy it would have gone unnoticed because of Thalia.
Even though Neverland saved me from the prophecy I still had the urge to leave the island. It’s harder than it’s seems, only one had left the island without Pan’s permission but I was determined to be the second. Like I said earlier many came to Neverland some more prepared than others but once they crossed Pan they had no chance. You see, there are magic beans in the enchanted forest that allow you to cross realms and Pan had tricked every single one of them into giving him theirs ,costing them their freedom, all I had to do was to get one. I knew exactly where he kept them, like I said I was the golden child, so one day when Pan was doing his rounds of the island I seized at the chance and took one. I was long gone before anyone knew what had happened.
Little did I know I had spent 8 years on Neverland and now I had no where to go, everyone I loved thought I was dead but then there was hope.
