But Zagreus knew she should’ve been the Prophecy Child….so when the Sisters Fate approached him asking that he steal away with a soul from the Underworld; who had not requested rebirth but would be granted it anyway….Zagreus knew he was never going to say no.Now all he needed to do was keep the girl alive to conquer the great prophecy, reclaim her heritage in all aspects and steal the heart of the Sun God who was still so very much in love with her.Should be easy right?!

Intermission - The Fates

The Sisters 3 had made a mistake when they had taken Hyacinthus from Apollo. They hadn't expected his rage and heartbreak, what he would unleash upon the world when his beloved was taken from him.

That's why when the first daughter of Poseidon did not live past her first hour of life, they had sent Zagreus to collect her. They knew that the God of Reincarnation, of Rebirth, would never be able to let it lie. They knew that he would have seen them sending him to collect the little one for what it was; unspoken permission to intervene.

And intervene, he had. Zagreus had chosen Hyacinthus to be reborn and he'd chosen well. The essence of the sea merged well with Hyacinthus' soul and the Fates knew that the close family ties of the sea would only help Hyacinthus ascend this time. The Sea would not allow their
daughter, their sister, to be taken from them. They would not allow for Zeus or his children to interfere with her happiness. Even if Percy's happiness would be with Apollo. Apollo who, while spawned from Zeus' loins, was so very much of the Sea. He had learnt everything at Poseidon's feet....why else was Apollo's wrath so momentous?
