Aarons perspective

I was a bit disappointed when he said he didn’t ACTUALLY love me but maybe a fake marriage could lead to something more. Now I just have to ask Phoenix, my alpha. I feel bad, not really, she’ll have no issue getting another omega mate, but Noah.. this may be his only chance. Not that he’s ugly, he’s sexy but he’s into other alphas. I wish he weren’t, if he would just give me a chance I could make him-

“Aaron? You’re walking the wrong way, we’re going to Eve’s house, remember?” Phoenix crashes into my daydreams of tying the knot with Noah, her grip on my hand sending electric currents racing through me. As much as my heart races for Noah, I can’t help but feel the thrill of my connection with Phoenix as a stunning partner in this whirlwind of emotions.

“N-no… um.. I’m going the right way, she’s towards Tesco. I can see her astronomically sized forehead” I had to admit, it was absolutely true. Eve’s forehead was like a towering skyscraper, so prominent that you could spot it from the Asda bus stop half a mile away! It was as if her forehead had its own skyline, standing tall and proud, a landmark in its own right.

“Huh.. you’re right.. for once.”

Phoenix sauntered down the sun-kissed street, her hair dancing in the warm spring breeze like a ruby banner in the wind. With each step, the anticipation bubbled inside her as she made her way to Eve, whose famously massive forehead was the talk of the town. Despite the dull landscape of our small town, the thrill of the upcoming reunion electrified the air around her. I stopped to grab a loose cigarette on the floor as we eagerly approached Eve and her unmistakably big ol’ forehead.

After an electrifying meet-up with Eve, I found myself back at her house with Phoenix, Jess, and the ever-enigmatic Eve herself, all gathered in her cosy bedroom. My mind buzzed with temptation, as stealing was always a thrill that tempted me like a siren's call. But this time, I pushed those thoughts aside; my heart was racing for a different reason—my soon-to-be fiancé, Noah! The images of him kissing me, intertwining our fingers, and sharing whispered secrets under the night sky filled my mind with sweet anticipation.

But before I could get lost in that enchanting daydream, I had to confront Phoenix. The challenge loomed large since Jess was right there, unaware of my plans. How could I blurt out that I was about to marry Noah while her heart was still tangled with his? It was a puzzle that made my adrenaline spike. I needed to devise a clever way to whisk Phoenix away from the chatter, just the two of us, so I could share my thrilling news without the weight of complications crashing down around us! Then, it hit me! I could just fake one of my pets being ill and Phoenix needed to help, that’s how I’ll get out!

“Hey everyone, I just got some alarming news! My dog isn’t feeling well! I need to head home right away. Come on, Phoenix!” I exclaimed, springing off Eve's bed and motioning for Phoenix to follow me as I dashed toward the door.

Even though I could hear her muffled protests, Phoenix trailed closely behind me as we descended the stairwell of Eve’s apartment building. Once we reached the bottom, I poured my heart out, revealing everything—my deep feelings for Noah, our dreams of marriage, and all the secrets that weighed on me. It felt liberating to share, and Phoenix listened intently, her eyes locked onto mine as I let my emotions spill forth. When I finally took a breath and finished, she smiled warmly at me and shared her genuine happiness for my journey. And that as long as we could stay friends, I could marry Noah.

Walking through the door, I could feel the weight of the day pressing down on me. It had been a whirlwind of emotions, each twist and turn leaving me more drained than the last. All I craved was the solace of my bed, a cosy refuge where I could finally let go and drift into a dreamless sleep.

But before surrendering to fatigue, I felt an urgent need to reach out to Noah. I knew I had to share everything—the situation, Phoenix’s acceptance, and the whirlwind of feelings swirling inside me. I sat down and poured my heart into a long message, each word infused with love and care, even if my eager fingers tripped over a few spelling mistakes.

Finally, I laid back, allowing the day's chaos to fade away as I closed my eyes. Within moments, I surrendered to the sweet embrace of sleep, ready to put the day behind me.

In the morning I woke up in a sweat, my whole body was warm and sweaty, which wasn’t uncommon for the end of spring time since the weather was heating up for summer. End of spring… thats funny… omegas usually have a heat in the spring so why haven’t I-

I tore the covers off my body and sprung out of bed, looking down at my wet sheets and there it was, wet slimy slick but not a lot of it. I’m in preheat.
