EARTHVIEW: AN EXHIBIT OF LIFE (The Information Bible to this Dandy's World AU)

Hello humble AO3 users, I offer another Dandy's World AU, feel free to add this to the large amount of piles of Dandy's World AUs that have touched the depths and corners of every single social media platform. I promise the meat and bones will be explained in the following chapter (+ upcoming chapters if God doesn't strike me down and bury me five feet under) but I do have some additional notes before I start setting up the worldbuilding and exposition. First and foremost, I wouldn't know how to categorize this AU, but if it were to have a category it would be a canonical rewrite. From what I have observed, Dandy's World AUs usually fall into three categories: Replacing Dandy as the lead with another character, Changing the environment the toons, or just changing the toon's designs/rewriting the story altogether. I guess EARTHVIEW is some strange mixture between the second and the third type of AU, except it's not really that much of a change in setting or story except it is? It'll make more sense later. Second, this AU is based on the way I interpret Dandy's World, since I always create a version of the story and lore in my head, while respecting the original source material. Finally, this AU is based on a multitude of works, but its main inspirations are bloodyspaghetti's Earthbound AU SPRINGBOUND, Subnautica, Mouthwashing, Breath of the Wild, Boards of Canada's Music Has the Right to Children and that one Pirates of the Carribean Disneyland ride (for some reason).Now that I have rambled enough, enjoy the work!
