Chapter 2

Sirius was flipping their records to find the perfect song to listen to while cooking. "What song do you want?"

"Something where we don't have to talk to each other loudly. I want some background music. After a while, Sirius found a band that seemed good to him. "Ah... Good ol' Arctic Monkeys." He said as he sauntered into the kitchen with his camera. Remus rolled his eyes. "So, how do we want to start this?"

"You've done this countless times, Sirius; you should know how to do this by now," Remus said with an annoying expression on his face.

"Fineeeee," Sirius said with an exaggerating expression. Camera in hand, he watched Remus unpack the bag.

"Instructions say to cook the rice first." He said while finishing putting water in the sauce-pot. "While this is cooking, we should make the pico de gallo, which is homemade salsa."

"Know it all," Sirius muttered.

"What was that?" Remus asked while cutting the tomatoes.

"Nothing, just keep at it with whatever you're doing." He said while still holding the camera.

Remus rolled his eyes as he was preparing to cut the onions. When he set aside some of the chopped onions for the fish. Next, he chopped the cilantro.

"How can you chop onions without burning your eyes?" Sirius asked.

Remus sighed. "If you'd ask me that while I was cutting the onions, I would've shown you."

"Just keep going," Sirius said while making a gesture with his hand to get Remus to keep ongoing.

"Can you actually change the song, or rather the band? I can hardly concentrate with the music being loud."

"Fine, fine," Sirius said, then paused the camera. He placed it on the counter and walked over to change the record. Sirius found the band Hozier and thought that would be a good band to listen to while cooking. He came back to the kitchen then picked up the camera. "Happy now?"

"Better," Remus said with a smile. "So as I was saying, I need to chop the cilantro next to make the salsa.

"Don't mind me, just do your thing," Sirius said and walked closer to Remus.

For a moment, Remus froze, noticing his closeness. It was for the video, he thought. Remus took a deep breath then continued his cooking. He prepared the fish and took out the frying pan after putting the salad together.

"How is it healthy if we are frying the fish?" Sirius asked questioningly.

"You don't question; you just do," Remus muttered, then placed the fish on the frying pan after putting oil on it.

Sirius rolled his eyes.

"So, it says to cook the fish for two minutes on each side..." Remus muttered, then followed the directions to a tee.

Remus then cooked the beans with some water to make refried beans.

Sirius checked on the rice then looked at Remus. "Uh, I think the rice is definitely done," Sirius suggested, then zoomed in on the rice. "Yep, it's done."

When Remus finished the fish, he turned off the stove. Remus placed the tortillas in the toaster oven to cook for a few minutes.

When everything was finished cooking, Remus cut the fish and put the tortillas on the plates. He then placed the rice, beans, fish, and salsa on top of the tortillas.

Sirius paused the camera then snapped a picture of it. "Yum!"
