Chapter 9
Shrek’s gentle ogre hands caressed Benjamin Franklin's light grey hair.
“You have many layers just like my onions,” breathed Benjamin.
“Ogres have many layers,” responded Shrek.
“You can slither into my swamp anytime,” Shrek said softly.
Benjamin leans forward pulling Shrek and pushing him against the wall. Shrek could feel Benjamin's hands caressing the bones of his back. His breath smelled of onions which made Shrek crave him more. It turned him on more than that Fiona with her ginger hair. Ughh, how he grew to despise her. But now was not the time, he must focus on Benjamin's grey eyes. They reminded Shrek of a comforting cloudy day. Benjamin dropped his kite and inched closer to Shrek. Shrek pulled his shirt over his horns and proceeded to do the same to Benjamin. Shrek leaned in and pushed his lips to Benjamins. Shrek softly bit Benjamin’s lip as they tumbled onto the bed. Shreks hands moved up Benjamin’s soft skin. They seemed to be breathing in unison. Shrek felt as Benjamin’s chest inhaled. Shrek broke apart the passionate kiss.
“Where were you earlier,” asked Shrek as his eyes met Benjamin’s.
Benjamin looked down to avoid eye contact, “I… I was… with… an old friend…”
“Who” demanded Shrek.
You could see Shrek’s veins bulge out of anger.
“Marlin,” responded Benjamin.
“Marlin!”
Marlin was Shreks ex… if Benjamin was with Marlin then it couldn’t be good.
“But it is for work and work only… you are my one and only lover.”
Shrek debated whether he should believe this. His heart was already broken once by donkey who had cheated on him with a dragon. A heart only has so many strings, and once they all break, we break. We eventually shatter like glass only for the light to attempt to reach us, but fail.
“You can’t trust that fish… he is very… fishy,” replied Shrek. “But I trust you, and if you say nothing is going on…”
“Nothing is going on there,” interrupted Benjamin.
“Then I believe you…”
Shrek looked at Benjamins smoking hot abs. They dripped with sweat which Shrek felt as he leaned over to give Benjamin one last kiss. Shrek must go to Voldy’s castle for answers…
