Christmas Gifts And New Years Wishes

"Boys get up, we have to leave soon!" Hermione said from the other side of the door.

Harry groaned, snuggling closer to Draco, who yawned.

"C'mon we have to get up, Harry." Harry groaned again, "I don't wanna."

"Fine, I'll leave without you," Draco said, getting up from the bed, putting his clothes on. Harry sighed, "fine." He put his glasses on and sat up, he stretched and got out of bed, getting his clothes on, putting on one of Draco's jumpers in the process.

They walked out of their room, "finally, c'mon we don't have time to eat, we have to go now!" Hermione grunted, pushing Ron, Harry and Draco out the door with their stuff. They all rushed to the train station.

When they got on the train and had their stuff away Harry and Draco sat on one side of the compartment, Hermione and Ron sitting opposite them.

"Are you sure I'll be welcome at the burrow?" Draco asked hesitantly, "I haven't exactly been the nicest to your family." Ron snorted, "you could say that again. But don't worry mum's forgiving, and if you're making Harry happy, that's all she cares about." Draco slowly nodded, "alright." He said quietly.

"It's alright Draco, Molly said it was fine if we brought you," Harry reassured him. Draco smiled softly at him.

The rest of the train ride was quiet, nothing more than quiet chatter and soft snores from Harry.

When the train came to a stop Harry woke up with a start, "you alright mate?" Ron asked Harry, he nodded, and they all began gathering their things together, getting off the train.

They met Mr. Weasley and all got into his car. When they got to the burrow Molly greeted Harry, Hermione, Ron and Ginny with a big hug, Draco hung back, still feeling out of place.

"Draco, dear, don't just stand there, come here," Molly said, walking over to Draco and hugging him. Draco returned the hug, "thanks for having me." He said softly, "Ron will show you to your room." Molly said, letting go of Draco so he could follow Harry and Ron upstairs.

Ron brought them to his room, gesturing the spare bed, "just don't do anything other than sleeping." Ron said, going green at the thought, "Ron, we're at the burrow, why would we." Harry chuckled.

They went back downstairs and Draco noticed George in the corner, seeing as Harry was content chatting with Hermione and Ron, he walked over to George, "you doing alright?" He asked quietly.

George looked up, "what are you doing here? I didn't know you were coming." He asked Draco.

"I'm here with Harry," he replied, George nodded, a little surprised but didn't comment further, "it looks like he's looking for you then." Draco looked over to Harry, who was fiddling with his ring, looking around nervously, "I'll talk to you later, yeah?" Draco asked George, "yeah," he replied and Draco went over to Harry.

"What's wrong, Harry?" Draco asked him.

"Just.. just feeling a little overwhelmed is all," Harry mumbled, hugging Draco as he buried his face in Draco's neck. "Just take a breather, I'm always here for you, promise," Draco said quietly, hugging Harry back.

"I know," Harry said softly, "I love you." Draco smiled, "I love you too, Harry."

The front door opened, breaking the silence, Bill and Fleur walking in, as Harry and Draco pulled apart. Bill nodded to Draco and he nodded back, "I'm gonna get a drink, you go sit down alright?" Draco told Harry, who nodded going to the living room.

Draco got a glass of water before joining Harry in the living room, sitting on the arm of the chair Harry was sitting on, "hey Draco, fancy a game of chess?" Ron asked.

"Don't see why not." Draco shrugged, moving to sit on the floor between Harry's legs so he could play chess with Ron on the coffee table.

The chess game went on for 2 hours, with Draco winning in the end.

"Well played." Ron said, holding out his hand for Draco to shake, "well played." Draco repeated, shaking Ron's hand. Looking around, everyone who was still watching the 2 play, had their mouths hung open at the fact that Ron lost, and was taking it so well.

"Kinda scared of this version of Ron, he's never lost a chess game and never been this calm about losing." Harry said quietly to Hermione, "lemme double check that."
Hermione stood up, bringing Ron to a different room. Harry hugged Draco tightly from behind, "you alright?" Draco asked, giggling slightly. "Surprised at how well Ron's taking it is all." Harry chuckled.

"Dinner!" Molly called. "Ah, I'm starving, because somebody wouldn't let us eat before we left," Draco remarked, glaring playfully at Hermione.

They all sat down to eat the dinner Molly had prepared, chatting with each other here and there.

After dinner everyone was lounging around, Harry attached to Draco tiredly, "you wanna go to bed? You look very tired." Draco chuckled, Harry nodded, "please."

Draco nodded and they both said good night to everyone, going up to their room, they got changed into their pyjamas and getting under the covers, Harry falling asleep cuddled against Draco, him falling asleep as well.

Christmas morning arrived and Draco was up before Harry, getting dressed, putting one of Harry's jumpers on. He wrote a quick note, putting it on his pillow for Harry to see when he woke up before heading downstairs.

"Morning." Draco smiled, grabbing a piece of toast. "Where's Harry?" Ginny asked.

"He's still sleeping." He replied, sitting on the couch, "I give him about another hour before he's up." Ron and Hermione chuckled, "or you can go wake him up now, and we can open up the presents." Ginny said. Draco sighed, "alright, fine."

Draco went back upstairs and when he walked into the room he noticed Harry was up, getting dressed, "so that's where my jumper went." Harry giggled.

Draco smiled, walking over to Harry and giving him a quick kiss, "hurry up and get dressed, everyone's waiting." Harry nodded, pulling on Draco's jumper, following Draco downstairs.

They sat down side by side by the fireplace, presents being passed around and opened.

Finally, Harry passed Draco a present, he smiled and opened it, he pulled out a pink and blue coloured flower crown, "Harry, you shouldn't have." Draco breathed, he looked up at Harry and quickly hugged him, "I'm lost, why did you get him a flower crown, Harry?" George asked.

"Can I say it, pleaseee?" Ginny asked, "sure Gin," Harry laughed, taking the flower crown and putting it in Draco's head.

"Because Draco asked to wear a flower crown for their wedding," Ginny said quickly, a huge smile on her face. "Woah, Woah, Harry's engaged?" George asked bewildered, "Harry's engaged?" Molly asked, coming back into the living room.

Harry nodded, "that's what the rings are." He replied with a small smile, "I didn't even realize you two had matching rings. Since when?" George asked, still surprised.

"Since August." Draco chuckled, "and we were wondering if we could have it here, sometime after we graduate." Molly's face lit up and she quickly went over to the two boys, bringing them into a hug, "I'm so proud, and so happy you found someone to make you happy, Harry. Of course, you can have it here."

"Thanks, Molly." Harry smiled at her, she nodded back. Everyone went to chatting with each other, so Draco took that chance to grab the presents he hid in the back of the tree and dragged Harry away from everyone. "Draco what are you doing?" Harry asked, giggling a bit.

"I didn't want everyone to see me giving you these," Draco whispered, blushing a bit as he handed the smaller of the presents to Harry.

Harry took it and unwrapped it, seeing it was a bunch of the notes they had passed each other through the previous years. "Draco.." Harry began but was at a loss for words. "You can't say anything yet, not till you open this one," Draco said, taking the notes from Harry and handing him the other present.

Harry began unwrapping the present, opening the box when the wrapping paper was gone, when he opened the box he seen it was some sort of snow globe, but it had a moving picture inside it. The picture was a memory though, a memory of the time they met up in the astronomy tower and shared their first kiss.

Harry looked up at Draco, tears pricking his eyes, "Draco.. I love it!" Harry laughed softly as he hugged Draco tightly. Draco hugged him back, "I'm glad you like it." He smiled, and Harry pulled him into a kiss.

"I love you, you git." Harry chuckled, "I love you too." Draco smiled again.

A few days after Christmas, Harry and Draco ended up going to Malfoy manor to spend new years with Draco's mum.

"Hi, my little Dragon, Hi Harry. How are you two?" Narcissa greeted the two on New Year's Eve.

"Hi mum," Draco replied kissing Narcissa on the cheek, "I'm doing alright." He smiled, "I'm doing great, how are you?" Harry asked.

"I'm doing good, thanks for asking." Narcissa smiled, "we're just gonna put our stuff away real quick." Draco told his mum, who nodded with a smug knowing smile as the two boys went to Draco's room.

"By any chance would you be willing to make your beloved fiancée a flower crown?" Harry remarked, sitting on the bed, Draco took one of the pillows off his be and hit Harry with it. "Ha, ha, very funny." Draco laughed.

"C'mon, I don't wanna miss dinner, and I want you up for the count down," Draco told Harry as soon as he was done putting their things away, grabbing Harry's hand and linking their fingers as Draco dragged Harry downstairs, "yes, yes, I'll be up for the count down, promise." Harry giggled.

They went downstairs and sat down in the dining room, "oh mum," Draco suddenly said while they were eating.

"I think Dumbledore and McGonagall made a bet that we'd be together because I heard McGonagall say 'I owe Albus pounds, even after his death'." Draco laughed, and Harry began laughing along, "betting on my love life, that sounds like Dumbledore."

"Oh my," Narcissa said, trying to contain her laughter. "Where did you hear that?" She asked, "when we first entered the great hall."

Narcissa stood up from her seat, nodding to the two as she walked away, trying her best not to laugh. The boys quickly finished eating their dinner before going to Draco's room again, "mom will call us when the countdown starts." Draco told Harry, "that means I have time to nap then." Harry grinned, Draco rolled his eyes playfully.

Draco sat on his bed with his sketchbook and pencils, Harry laying beside him, falling asleep while Draco sketched the sleeping Harry.

After a few hours, a house-elf popped into Draco's room, "master Draco, mistress Narcissa told Lizzy to tell master Draco 'the countdown is starting'." Draco nodded, "thank you, Lizzy, we'll be right down." He told her. Lizzy nodded and left his room with a pop.

"Harry, get up, the countdown is starting." Harry stirred, his eyes fluttering open, he yawned sitting up, "alright, let's go." Harry chuckled, getting up and following Draco downstairs to the living room where Draco's mum was, her wand in the air as she watched the clock. Draco and Harry joined her, pointing their wands in the air.

"5... 4... 3... 2... 1! HAPPY NEW YEAR!" The three of them yelled, small lights emitting from the tips of their wands.

Harry kissed Draco, "I love you, and I wish to always be with you." Harry whispered.

Draco smiled softly, "I love you too, and I wish to have the perfect life and family with you."
