Summary
Askara knew something was going to happen soon. They just didn’t expect this.

Light reflected off of the crystal-like rose, mixed in with its brothers and sisters. It was a type of rose that was rare; even in Heaven.

The Golden Rose.

Of course, they were the one who made it. They had made many improbable plants in their garden.

Of course, they didn’t cut the thorns off the roses, since they believed that everything was beautiful, but still had its edges, its imperfections, as all the others told them.

But they knew that God didn’t mind.

In fact, it was encouraged. They were quite close to God, being Their first creation.

Not that anyone knew.

Apart from them self and God, of course.

They knew something was going to happen.

But not this.

They sighed at what their plants told them; the plants brothers and sisters, the more common plants, heard of something.

Something that was going to happen soon.

They stood up, and held up a single feather that just fell from their wings, reflecting its many different colours in the light from the mini suns.

The suns were all safe, don’t worry.

And the garden was huge, there were even the odd pond here and there, and it had a weather cycle, so the plants didn’t have to be watered manually.

Askala went to their favourite plant.

The Blue Rose.

They took one, and the plant allowed it.

Askala took a deep breath and flew above their garden.

They fused their feather and the rose, using their Nature Magic to create a dome to surround the garden.

Nothing could get in, and only the plants could get out.

Then they turned around and gave a gentle smile at the Angels coming at them.

“I know, I know. I’ll be on my way now.” Askala told them.

The two Angels looked confused, but allowed it none the less.

“I’m sorry, I truly am. But Askala, you are hereby Cursed! Do you have anything to say for yourself?” God told Their First Creation.

Askala smiled sadly and replied, “It was written by the Fate.”

Then they jumped off the edge of the Throne Room.
