The God and His Agents
Kathe twirled. There was no other explanation for it. She was twirling, and humming a happy little tune. Not too far away, a large black man and Kathe's twin sister, Cora, were seated on the log, watching her.
"I am sorry." the man says, heaving "I was too late..."
"It's okay." Kathe says, stopping mid-twirl to look at him "You tried. And that's what counts."
And then the world exploded into white. The next thing they knew was that all three of them were standing in some sort of a room, and in front of them stood a man clad in a white robe.
"Who are you?" Kathe asked
"I am God." the man smiled down at her "And I have an important task to all three of you. I am resurrecting you for this task. Travel to the worlds listed on this piece of paper and resurrect those you think deserve to be resurrected. For the purposes of this, you might need to split up, so I am giving you the same set of abilities. All three of you will be my 'miracles' now."
"Split up?"
"Yes. Each of you will be going to different worlds. And for that purpose, I'll have to age the both of you to age eleven." the God explains "You have my blessings."
With that, three holes opened up at the three humans feet, and swallowed them up.
