Chapter 19
“Pet, have you gathered all the documents we need?” Vernon asked his wife while stabbing his sausages and bringing them to his mouth.
“Yes, I have it, dear!” she said excitedly.
“Good! We’ll be going there today, then!” he exclaimed.
“Wait!” She paused, “let’s call them first,” Vernon scowled at her.
“If we don’t act now, everything will be lost! You know how Mr. Riddle doesn’t like to wait any longer.” He angrily stabs his food. “We must go there after our breakfast.”
“Yes, I know Vern, but remember that ugly beast? We don’t want to get humiliated again, right?”
“That monster? I’ll get him next time if I had the chance. I’ll make him pay.”
“We must call Merope first so that we can enter their manor easily without having to interact with that ugly beast.”
“I see,” nods at her.
“Is the freak still there?” Dudley asked his mum while munching his breakfast to his mouth.
“Yes, my Dudlykins, and once we sell him off to the Riddle’s we won’t take care of him.”
“You will sell him?” His mom nodded happily, but he was suddenly uneasy. “Isn’t that… illegal?” he asked unsurely.
“It’s not!” He claimed, “As long as it is businesses”. Vernon smiled wildly, eyes full of greed.
“Don’t worry, dear,” Petunia coos at her son “besides, once we have the money we can buy anything we want!” she said excitedly.
“Mum?” His eyes got widened, “that means I can buy many toys?” To his excitement, he ate his food quickly.
“Yes! And finally, I can enroll you to Hogwarts!” She wants her son to experience the best in life.
Hogwarts is the best school, but it’s quite expensive. Her pathetic sister was given a full scholarship as long as she maintained her academic performance. But she doesn't have the brains like her, thankfully her mother used to be a teacher there until they graduated. Those who work in that school can guarantee their children can enroll there without having to pay the ridiculous amount of tuition fees.
She sneered at the thought of working there, if she bowed her head like a desperate commoner like the red-haired woman with seven children, she would ruin her image. She has a pride and doesn’t want to become a laughing stock in their neighborhood.
She was glad that the Riddle's took an interest in that freak child, and it would be easier to get rid of him without having so much trouble. She hoped he would be treated harshly by them. She would not give a damn about that freak, and all she cares about is her family that would have everything they wanted. Maybe that freak is screaming in pain, or maybe worse than the cupboard, and is now starving.

“Aaaaaahhhhhh-“ Harry shouts as his Mama attacked him, “Mama nooooo-“ as he whines.
“And why is that?” His Mama asked him.
“It tickles!” As he wriggles away from those tickling hands.
“Ah-ah, no you can’t escape from me.” As she continues to tickle him, he let out another scream of laughter.
“Have mercy on that poor baby,” as Thomas enters the study room and sees his wife and his child having a good time.
“Papa!” He cried out for help and raised one hand as he tried to reach his Papa
Thomas picked up his son, who was lying on the sofa and covered by his wife. He felt like he was flying as his Papa held him high and giggled. He held him tenderly and kissed his child’s temples before he put him down on the ground. Harry immediately ran to the coffee table to finish his drawings, before his Mama sneakily attacked him. He walked to his desk and opened his laptop to check any emails he had received.
“Hello there, my little love.” He greeted him as he walks into the room and sat beside him. He snaked his arm around his waist, trying to get close to him, and gave him a naive smile.
“Hello, Tom!” He smiled at him, then returned to his drawings.
They were enjoying the silence in the room until Barty came over and whispered a few words to the mistress, who was drinking tea. Merope scowled at Barty’s words. She looks at Tom in the eye, and Tom raises his eyebrow.
“My love, why don’t you get that favorite book of yours?” Harry glanced at Tom in question.
“Go on, sweetie.” His Mama said, “Mama will read it to you.” He nodded happily at his Mama and hurried to get his treasure. As the door closed, she waved her hand to Barty to continue.
“Mrs. Dursely just called and asked if they can come here.”
“Why would they come here?” Merope asked.
“Good riddance! It takes them forever to make a simple decision?” Thomas exclaimed.
“Seriously, Father? You’re going to waste our money on those filths?” Tom sneers at him.
“Of course not!” He told his brat, “as if I give them any penny. They are nothing but filthy beggars.” He grins evilly.
“Just leave this to us, Tom.” His mother warned him, “Just make sure they won’t harm my baby because if they dare, I’ll make them scream till they’re dead.”
There was a silence, and then the three of them just smirked and laughed. That’s when Harry heard them once he opened the door and smiled at them.
“Oh, there’s my baby.” Harry ran to his mother to show her his treasure.
“Come sit with Mama, sweetie. I’ll read it for you.” Harry sat eagerly beside his mother. Tom sat beside his beloved and held him.
“Tell her to come this evening at eight,” Thomas whispered to Barty. He bowed and left them.
While Harry focused on his book with his Mama reading for him, he didn't notice the three of them made eye contact with each other and just smirked evilly,
It’s time to pay a price for what they have done.
