Seeking for Fairy Godmother

“Ma’am if you want it you must pay it first.” The store manager argues with Petunia.

“As I have told you earlier, my best friend would pay all of this!” She shouts at the manager.

“And who’s your ‘best friend’?” He must call security before this crazy woman would scare his clients.

“It’s Merope. Merope Riddle, the wife of Thomas Riddle.” She will put this man right to his place.

“Right. If you’re her ‘best friend’, where is she? Why aren’t you with her?” This time he ordered his assistant to call for security.

“I don’t know.” She doesn’t know where she is, she just left her. “But if you make an announcement I’m sure she’ll be here.”

“Well, why don’t you just pay this and ask her for refund?”

“I-I don’t have the money to purchase this.” Bite her lips. There were many people staring at her now and she felt embarrassed.

“I see.” When they came in, he signaled the security. “Get this poor dirt out of here, she’s dirtying my shop.”

“Wait! Just make an announcement I’m sure she’ll be here!” She held the paper bag tightly.

The manager snatched the paper bag from her, the security guard dragged her out of the store, and the son held her tightly. She told them not to make any scandal but they seemed doesn’t care.

“How come a beggar like you has entered here in Hogsmeade? Maybe you tricked the security or use some dirty method?” The manager looks at her in a disgusted manner.

“Of course not! I told you I’m with Mrs.Riddle! And I’m not a beggar!” She is frustrated now, her son is crying next to her.

“How’s the ice cream, my love?” She gently combs Harry’s hair and smiling at him.

“It’s so sweet! I’ve never tasted something like this. It’s ok to eat this alone?” He looks at his now Mama “Would you like to share with me?” The ice cream distracted him, and he completely forgot to let his Mama eat with him.

“Aw sweet child, it's fine. Eat as much as you want, don’t mind me and besides, I bought it just for you.” She smiles at her child ‘He’s not only adorable but sweet as well. He is so perfect than Tom.’

“What’s with the commotion over there?” She looked at a nearby shop across the street, and there were many people around.

“Of course not! I told you I’m with Mrs.Riddle! And I’m not a beggar!” She yelled back at the owner.

“Isn’t that the poor Petunia?” Eris looks at Merope who was busy feeding her kidnap child.

“The social climber? Lily’s older sister?” Looking at the scene.

Unlike Lily, even though Petunia always humiliates Lily in front of everyone, she is kind and humble to everyone. No one likes to befriend Petunia because she is an attention seeker and everyone knows that she is also a social climber and that was known in Hogwarts.

“Really? You bought that cheap here? If you want to bring a dog at least someone with manners” She looks at Merope who seems doesn’t care at the screaming woman.

“I hate to say this but that chit is my child’s Aunt.” She twisted her face.

“Aunt Petunia? Where is she?” He looked at the three kind ladies in confusion.

“No worries love, just keep eating and after this let’s go to another store, ok?” Three of them smiled sweetly at Harry.

“Okay. Are you sure you’re not hungry?” tilts his head and stare at them with his big green eyes.

They just melt at the sight and almost forgot the scene that seems likely to get ugly anytime soon.

“Don’t you want to help you’re ‘Best Friend’?” She teases at her.

“Only an idiot would do that Eris, and besides it’s her trouble, not mine.” She looks back to her child who was happily eating his ice cream.

“Oh look at those bags she took. That’s so many! Can she afford that?” Adora said in a mocking voice.

“Well, I did tell her that she can have anything she wants.” Smirking evilly while drinking her tea.

“Oh?” Two of her friends looked at her excitedly.

“But I didn’t say I’ll pay for it.” Then she looks at her friends, and then they laughed. Harry who was not aware of what’s going on, he just smiled at them ‘They seem to be happy. I like that.’

“Are you enjoying baby?” Eris coos at her new kidnap nephew.

“Yes, Aunt Eris.” He smiled at her.

“Wait! There’s Mrs. Riddle!” She desperately points at Merope across the street. “ Merope! Bestie! I’m here! Help me!” she cried.

Merope and her friends ignored her, trying to distract Harry from the screaming woman.

“I think I hear Aunt Petunia somewhere.” He nervously said he might get into trouble if he ignores her.

“Now baby you’re just imagining things,” Eris said.

“We didn’t hear a thing, sweetie.” Adora said innocently.

“Yes my love, don’t think too much. Mama’s here, just enjoy.” Merope coos at her child.

“Take her out! This beggar is ruining my precious shop!” He said angrily.

“Just let me go over there across the street, she didn’t hear me.” She was desperately pointing at Merope while the security grabs her both arms.

“I have enough of your shitty excuse! Take her out now!” He had enough with this ugly woman.

They harshly threw her outside Hogsmeade, she was on the ground while his son was crying and tries to get her mother up. The securities just laughed at her current state.

“I will make you pay for this!” She shouts angrily while getting on her feet.

“You can’t even afford anything here even an ice cream.” The other security said then the two just laughed at Petunia, then shut the gates.

‘This is not fair! How come Merope didn’t hear me? Why is everyone treating me like trash?’ she can’t help but cry along with her son who was clutching her dress tightly.

“Mum, let’s just go home!” Dudley cries even harder.

“Okay sweetie, but first we must go to the mansion.” She wipes her son’s tears.

“Mum! I don’t want to go there, I’m going home!” ‘Why mum is so desperate?’

Later that evening, Merope arrived at her home, her child was sleeping soundly in her arms, she can’t help but smiled at him and kissed his forehead and he sighed contently.

“Mistress, the wretch is here. She was patiently waiting for your arrival.” The maid told her.

“Oh? And I thought she had gone home crying like a loser.” ‘That woman doesn’t know how to surrender.’

“Oh, she was crying!” She said excitedly “She looks even uglier. It was so funny, we even take a picture of her.” The maid can’t help but laughed.

“And where is she?” She’s having a good mood and now that bitch just wants to ruin it.

“She’s at the lounge. Want me to call a cleaner Mistress?”

“Yes please, I don’t want my husband to complain, and also can you bring my child to the spare room I’ve prepared for him?” She sighed.

“As you wish Mistress.” She dutifully bows at her.

She carefully gives her sleeping child to the maid and went to the lounge, she doesn’t want to wake her child who was sleeping soundly.

“Petunia! There you are, I was looking for you but I couldn’t find you. So I thought you’d gone home.” She just smiled at her.

“Really? I was there across the street calling for you but you didn’t seem to hear me.” She was trying her best not to snap at her.

“Oh my, I didn’t hear. I’m so sorry, let me repay you for that.” Smiles charmingly at her and calls the butler to bring her the bags she bought.

“Oh thank you!” ‘That’s right you should repay me!’ she thought eagerly and wondering what she had bought for her.

“Here take this, and also I bought for your son too.” She gives her the paper bags and still smiling at her.

Petunia takes the paper bags and she excitedly opened them ‘This must be the most expensive bag!’ When she saw what’s inside the paper bag she was disappointed and angry, then she looks at Merope who was sarcastically smiling at her.

“What’s wrong? You don’t like it? I spend hours thinking what I should give to you.” She said.

“It’s not like that. I like it.” ‘It’s not! This bag looks cheap and the design is very ugly, and she gave Dudley a cheap truck? Like a truck for three years old?’ she couldn’t believe this rich woman just gave her some cheap things.

“I’ll just take my leave then.” She stood up, she was tired and just wants to go home. “Where’s Harry? I’ll take him with me.”

“Oh dear, is the gifts I gave to you is not enough?” She stands up and crosses her arms then smiles warningly at Petunia.

“But I need to bring him-“She was suddenly scared when she look Merope in the eyes then she just shut her mouth.

“Good night Petunia.” Then she walks out of the room.
