Light Yagami/Harry Potter & Sirius Black
On one hot summer day during the last month of primary school, 7 year old Light came face to face with a vaguely familiar face at his school gate.
"Are you happy?" asked a man in a leather jacket, his grey eyes looking at Light intensely. Light looked at the leather jacket suspiciously.
It was summer. This guy was wearing a lot of leather. And yet, there was not a single drop of sweat in sight. Light was envious. This man was probably one of the rare people who never suffered from sweat, while Light himself sweated a lot whenever he did anything remotely strenuous. That was one thing that had followed him from his previous life to this one. Light wanted to sue the Shinigami once again. Why couldn't they have given him a better body on his second go around? He was been the best entertainment Ryuk had seen in centuries. Surely that qualified him for some sort of premium reincarnation?
"Are you happy here? What are you doing among the older kids anyways? They seem to be avoiding you. Are you being bullied? Just say the word and I can save you!" Light blinked at the rapid fire questions. Why had this stranger asked so many questions and why was he so bothered?
"Do you need help?" The man asked, looking concerned. From what Light could observe, this worry seemed to be genuine. But why was a random stranger asking him such questions? Was he a kidnapper? No, probably not. This wasn't a rich kid school and the gate guards were right there. The guards and the teachers were ignoring this man, so obviously he had permission to be here. Was he some sort of salesman? Conducting some sort of survey? And why, out of every older child around, was this man asking the youngest person around?
There was only one conclusion Light could make from his appearance, this location, the lack of stranger-danger and questions asked.
"I'm not looking for God," Light informed him bluntly. With the confidence of a man once on the cusp of becoming a legal God and the look of certain Truth only a child could possess, Light spoke,
"I am God."
