Being a baby was boring.
Being a baby with the soul of a genius even more so.
In some ways, it reminded Light of being back in isolation for those fifty days with L. Unable to stop thinking, thoughts going hay-wire for something to latch onto, all while trapped in a square feet of solid metal walls and observed by cameras from each and every angle.
Granted his current walls are cement, Light can actually move around and he's not being stalked by cameras but by wary adults. Fact remains, being an infant with the mind and soul of a genius was utterly boring. And most importantly, terrifying.
