The sun was bright in the lovely blue sky, the grass ruffling softly against each other. The notes from the piano played a graceful melody, a wedding melody to be exact. There were lots of guests, most of them were from the show, Battle For Dream Island, where the bride and the groom competed. One of the guest was the Freesmart crew from the show, they seems to be discussing something.
"I love when people love each other get married" Bubble muttered
"But didn't Firey avoid her for some years over some misunderstanding?" Ruby whispered
"Yeah but they talked and got back with each other, so that doesn't really matter! What happens in the past, stays in the past." Ice Cube added
"SHSHHSHSHSHHSHSHSH NO GOSSIPING." Needle exclaimed
The Freesmarters sighed as they stood silent, until Ruby decided to spoke up.
"I wish Match and Pencil was here.."
"Same-" Ice cube got interrupted
"WHAT DID I JUST SAY-"
At the altar stood a red haired groom, waiting for his bride to come, along with his groomsman, Gelatin.
"When do you think she's gonna come-?" Firey asked
"Be patient man! I'm sure she'll come out any second now!"
"I know... I'm just... Nervous.. "
"It's okay to be nervous, just don't faint when you see her in the wedding dress" He winks as he nudged the grooms arm.
Firey chuckled as Coiny, also one of the groomsmen walked towards them.
"Have you guys seen Pin?"
"Pin?" Firey questioned
"Uh, I think I saw her with Leafy, she's probably helping her get ready" Gelatin answered
"So Coiny, when are YOU going to get married huh?" The groom teased
"HEY! I'm planning to, alright?" He sighed "I love her so much.."
"Yeah we know dude, it's painfully obvious.." Gelatin scoffed
Firey glanced to Coiny as he did the same, Coiny frowned while Firey looked away conflicted, they remembered their past in unison. During when they were young, and The Battle For Dream Island show was still in its prime, let's just say they had a bit of sexual intercourse in the past. It was lovely and passionate, but that is the past. Both of them have their own female lovers now. What happens in the past, stays in the past.
"You guys alright?" The green hair interrupted
"Yeah-! Just...-" The groom said awkwardly
"-.. Thinking about the past.." The groomsman finished the sentence awkwardly "I'm gonna-.. Go greet the guests until the bride comes.."
"Uh- yeah! Okay then, I'll just... Wait.." Firey replied
Coiny left the altar and went to some of the guests. Firey watched from afar, thinking what could've happen if he chose Coiny instead of Leafy, although he loved her very much and would trade the world for her. He still wondered.
"By the way, Firey, your shoes are untied again"
"GODAMMIT-"
Somewhere in a different room, stood the bride and her bridesmaid. Pin was braiding leafys hair with a saddened face, her heart was ripping apart for this might've been the worst day of her life. She has always loved Leafy with all her heart, from the start, maybe even before Firey fell for her.
Despite this, Pin already has a boyfriend, but does she truly love him? Or is it just that to replace the affection she never got to give to Leafy? To at least spend her love to someone for its too late to spend it to the bride, who was now marrying a man. But it can't be helped, they both have their own male lovers now. What happens in the past, stays in the past.
"Pin?" She glanced to the red hair
"Oh- yeah Leafy?"
"Why do you look so sad?"
"I'm just, you know... I'm.... Happy, for you.." She lied
"I'm glad you do Pin"
The green hair turned her body to the bridesmaid when she was done braiding her hair. Leafy place her hand on top of hers, looking at Pin with a soft smile.
"Thank you for being there for me Pin, I've always enjoyed every time we are together."
Pin trembled, her facade was slowly falling apart, she couldn't stand it anymore, she has no chance left for Leafy was about to become a wife for a man.
"L-Leafy..." She stammered
"Yes Pin-?" The Bride answered
Pin clenched her teeth, holding Leafys hand tightly before she breaks. She cupped The brides cheeks with both of her hands, looking at her with love and adoration before their lips touched, it was full of passion and tenderness. Something Pin could've never done before.
It was their first and last kiss.
Pin breaks away, looking at Leafy with guilt as the other looks at her with surprise and confusion.
"I-I'm.. Sorry Leafy.." Pin stuttered
"Pin-"
The woman stood up and immediately walked outside, grabbing the flowers as she stepped to the altar, looking stressed and conflicted. Coiny seems to notice this unusual expression and approaches her.
"Babe? What's wrong, you okay?"
"Coiny-..."
A tear fell down her cheek as the groomsman quickly embraced her, comforting her despite not knowing what she has done.
"I-I'm...sor- sorry..C-Coiny..."
"It's okay Baby, even though I don't know what you are talking about-.. But It's okay, I'm here.."
As Coiny hugged her, she could feel the warmth and comfort, though it does not erase what she has done. At least she discovered a new person to genuinely love, properly this time.
Minutes passed, Leafy, The bride, was now walking on the red carpet. Firey, The groom, was waiting eagerly at the altar. Once she arrived, the officiant, Four who gladly took the role, announces their vow.
Leafy glance towards Pin, who only looks away in shame.
Firey glances towards Coiny, who was too busy staring at Pin.
Despite almost getting married, they might've felt a slight doubt, or maybe even a resist. Perhaps they were too attached to something that was already gone.
"And now, you may KISS the bride!"
They both kissed, with genuine love and adoration for each other. Firey and Leafy are officially considered a married couple. But though, what would've been different if they weren't afraid to admit their love to the same gender as them?
