You provide the quarter, I'll flip it.

Mayumi hummed and accepted the peaches Hisayo slid onto her tray, “Hey, what do you think about the class president thing? Who do you think we should vote for the other class officers?”

“Uh, I don’t really know. It’s hard to gauge who would be best. Don’t really know much about them,” Hisayo shrugged, slightly teetering due to the little happy dance Mayumi did for her peaches, “We could flip a coin for it? When we get our candidates.”

“Yeah, sounds cool,” Mayumi agreed, adjusting some of her food to stay separate. She had a thing, she always ate her food in order from biggest portion to smallest, she didn’t care if they touched, it just helped her see the portion sizes better.

“The collar is pretty cute, by the way,” Mayumi added, looking at Hisayo’s neck.

Hisayo huffed and pulled it off, “Yeah, no. I'm basically naked.”

When Hisayo was asked about her costume, she made the mistake of telling their support class, to add whatever they thought was best. Due to her being a cat, they worried that her shifting would be a problem for her clothes, so they had to talk to her about clothing possibilities. But thankfully, she’d never had a problem with losing her clothes except anything loose or that would slip off her body, like jackets, dresses, things that were skin tight, otherwise they just turned into an extra layer of fur.

So instead they designed a two piece set, a short crop top with a halter neck with low sitting, very small, uncomfortable shorts. She was given some sort of cross body harness hanging off her shoulders caging across her chest and resting above her hips. It had a sensory button-thing and it retracted against her cat body and hung loose on her human form, making for an easy utility belt.

Her entire unit was a light gray leather fabric, far too bright and far too tight for her taste, but it paired well with the combat boots they suggested. She had to talk to her support partner, first to swap out the color scheme, and to definitely remind them that she can wear more clothes…

“I'm in the same boat, I feel like I look weird in mine. I have one sleeve… and also no pants,” Mayumi grimaced at the thought, “My butt's all out.”

Mayumi only planned for the ability to collect force and redistribute it. She left most of the design up to her partner. They gave her a simple zip up one armed bodysuit and it paired with her high topped sneakers. Literally nothing else.

The sleeve in question trailed all the way down in between each of her fingers, the whole thing was set in a flat teal and navy blue fabric with some sort of armor laced in between the material to protect her vitals from excess damage. She never understood the overwhelming need for showy hero suits, she'd definitely be making a lot of changes.

“I'm gonna ask mom if she has any ideas for mine, I'll take her yours too,” Hisayo promised.

“Pretty sure we're supposed to work with our own support partners, not professional ones,” Mayumi argued, not that she was completely against the idea.

“I said, ideas, not for her to make me a whole new one. I'll just take the ideas to my partner,” Hisayo rolled her eyes, “You wanna share your butt cheeks with the world?”

“No. No, you're right. I need pants…” Mayumi nodded to herself, before switching the subject, “Oh, I was wondering, do you wanna go to the new craft store this weekend, Sayo?”

“Uh, let's swing by the record store first, and then the craft store. Maybe we can finally paint the freaking bowls you made,” Hisayo nodded, thinking carefully.

“Uh, probably not,” Mayumi slumped a little, “I can't see a color scheme, yet.”

“Maybe you'll see one when we start painting,” Hisayo teased, but Mayumi only stared at her, set in her decision, “Alright, fine. But let’s go look anyway.”

“Alright, I’ll agree with that. What time do you want to leave,” Mayumi resumed her food wiggle.

A body slipped into the seat next to her, as well as one in front of Hisayo across the table, immediately her wiggles halted again, “Hey, guys. Hashiri, how’s your arm,” It was Sero next to her.

“Yeah! Sero, said you kicked his ass,” And there was Mina, across the table.

Mayumi choked a bit on her food, startled, she was quick to recover though, “Oh, that was just a lucky chance. My arm is fine, too. Thanks, for asking!”

Hisayo’s tail flicked, a tad irritated by the change in Mayumi. She hated when the girl did this. Mayumi knew she was strong, her sister wasn’t a gloater, but acting like she wasn’t strong was annoying.

“I gotta hand it to you, I wasn’t expecting you to jump out like that,” Sero laughed, knocking into her shoulder, “It was pretty cool how quickly you had me under control.”

“I didn’t do much, Yaoyorozu made the plan to trap you guys, so I just tried to help as best I could,” Mayumi subtly shifted to sit away from him, he was too close, but she tried to ignore it.

“Well, I’m sure you could’ve done more, it’s not like you can’t handle it,” Hisayo snarked, only to get pinched.

“Yeah, I just listened to Yaoyorozu. She had the right ideas,” Mayumi shrugged.

Hisayo huffed, giving up and she turned to look at the mass of reporters outside, “Wonder if they’ll leave by the end of the day…”

Sero leaned over Mayumi a little, “Probably not, Mori, they might even double by the time classes end. They’re all here for All Might.”

Hisayo’s ear twitched, she wasn’t really talking to him, but it was fine. Mayumi piped up too, “They’ve been out there for like two days now… I am a bit surprised Ma isn’t out there.”

“She’d never stoop this low, or act so entitled,” Hisayo chuckled, knowing the woman too well.

Sero stepped back into the conversation, “Your mom’s a reporter? That’s pretty cool. She’ll get to interview her own kid as a hero!”

“Oh, and since she's your mom she’ll give the best questions to look amazing in magazines,” Mine squealed, “Can I hire her too?”

“Maybe when we get a little further into our school year. But I’ll be sure to ask our mom,” Sero and Mina started bombarding Mayumi with questions and theories about her mom, completely ignoring her correction.

Hisayo raised an eyebrow and looked at Mayumi, who only shrugged, slightly. With a sigh, Hisayo started to collect her half eaten lunch, “Yumi, just let me know when you’re ready this weekend, I’m gonna head to the bathroom,” At this point she just wanted to get away. She didn’t know these people and she was uncomfortable now.

“Oh! Are you guys going out this weekend? You should join us with the other girls,” Mina gasped excitedly, leaping up to grab Hisayo’s hand, but she was too quick for the pink girl.

“No tha-,” Again Mayumi cut her off.

“That sounds awesome,” Mayumi and Hisayo locked eyes and for a brief moment they had a silent argument, “What are the plans for the day?”

“Dunno, we’re gonna just get coffee first and then wing it,” Mina grinned, with a shrug.

Hisayo pinched Mayumi back after hearing that. They both knew Hisayo hated going without a plan for an outing, “That sounds great, you know when you wanna leave,” Mayumi tried to save the situation a little.

“Uh, not really, I’ll add you guys to our group chat and we’ll talk about it more,” Mina pulled out her phone.

Mayumi copied her, but Hisayo stood up from the table, “It’s too loud in here, I’m going to the bathroom.”

“Wait! Your number,” Mina called, but Hisayo didn’t give her time to finish the sentence, “Bye, Mori!”

“Don’t worry, she knows I can give it to you,” Mayumi smiled, mentally apologizing. But she had to make friends somehow, they were gonna be here for the next few years. She was going to make friends and keep them. Even if she had to make up a new Mayumi.

“I don’t think your friend likes us very much,” Mina pouted.

Mayumi shrugged, “Well, she’s introverted, so it takes her a while to open up, really.”

“Still, Mori looked really pissed when she left, so,” Sero pointed out.

“Yeah, like I said… Takes her a bit to open up,” Mayumi repeated, guiltily.

Sero went to speak again, but an alarm sounded overhead, “Level three security breach. All students, please evacuate outside.”

“What the hell does that mean,” Sero yelled over the clamering of students.

“I don’t know! But I have to go find Hisayo, sorry,” Mayumi pushed her way towards the bathrooms, opposite of the exits.

Mayumi tucked her right arm close to her body, to avoid expelling any force on the people around her. She tried to push through the students, but she was only getting so far. She started to call for Hisayo, but with all the noise, there was no way they’d hear each other.

Mayumi just had to get a bit further, ignore the growing buzz in her right arm and keep going. She yelped as an elbow connected with her nose before another shove sent her to the floor. Feet were kicking into her ribs and she couldn’t catch her breath.

She had to get out of there, or she was going to get trampled. She curled in on herself and tried to inch towards somewhere safe, but instead Mayumi kicked the wall she wasn’t aware was close. In a second, the rest of the air in her lungs was knocked out of her and she threw herself clear to the other side of the hall, bowling down a thick line of students along the way.

Mayumi groaned and held her chest, she started to sit up, hoping to get up before her space got crowded again, but there she was; Hisayo, in cat form scurrying under table legs trying to avoid the stampede ahead of them.

“Hisayo,” Mayumi yelled, catching her sister’s attention.

Hisayo stopped, panicked and frantic. Her ears flattened against her head as her previous exit space closed. Mayumi looked at her foot, brushing a stationary planter at her feet and tried to replicate what she had just done. Problem was, she couldn’t figure out how to move the kinetic energy again. She smacked her hand on the ground trying to build up more, but it wasn’t moving to her feet.

A yowl grabbed her attention again, and she looked up to see Hisayo’s tail get stomped. Forgoing her original attempt, she shimmied herself into a weird crouched position and just shoved herself off of the planter and bullet trained her way towards Hisayo. She laid herself flat as she slid, to minimize the students she barreled through and managed to scoop Hisayo into her arms and she flew past.

Eventually she came to a stop, and Mayumi was able to fight her way up onto her feet. She kept Hisayo close to her chest and tried to push her way forwards, but an entire school body of panicked teens was thick.

“Everyone! Everything is fine,” Iida's voice boomed from ahead, “It’s just the media! There is nothing to panic over!”

Finally, finally. Everyone stopped shoving and kicking and screaming. Mayumi let out a sigh and let go of her sister, dropping her as she shifted.

“Mayumi! Your nose,” Hisayo snatched her face, looking carefully.

“Ow, ow, ow. Hisayo, you’re hurting me,” Mayumi garbled out through her face being squished.

“Shut up, there's blood all over your face and I’m worried,” Hisayo squeezed her cheeks harder, to keep her still.

“You have the gentle touch of mom…” Mayumi teased only for Hisayo to ‘accidently’ flick her broken nose.

Only an hour later Mayumi sat, swatting Hisayo’s ear gently while they sat on the bus. Hisayo was sitting on the floor, completely ignoring Iida’s concern. They were quietly listening to the class blabber about their quirks, pro hero popularity and such. Eventually pissing off Bakugo… somehow.

“It’s amazing that after only knowing each other for a few days, we can tell that his personality is flaming crap mixed with garbage,” Denki chided, pushing him further.

“Keep talking, and I'll make you regret ever applying to this school, loser,” Bakugo yelled.

“I wonder if he cries nitroglycerin too,” Hisayo barely whispered to Mayumi, making her snort before whining at the pain of her previously broken nose, “Think if he gets upset enough his cheeks will start popping like firecrackers?”

“That’s not even how his quirk works, and be nice,” Mayumi giggled, swatting her ear a little harder.

“You know it’s true,” Hisayo huffed, normally Mayumi was better at standing up against bullies, more outspoken too. Hisayo crossed her arms and glanced at Bakugo, only for him to look back at her, and blow up. Almost literally.

“What the hell are you two talking about,” Bakugo shouted, looking ready to send them flying.

But while Mayumi rolled her eyes, not trying to indulge him, Hisayo simply answered him, “You. Being a big cry baby. I had a theory that if we talk enough shit your tears would start exploding down your cheeks.”

A few of the other students laughed at that, making him turn red. But Hisayo didn’t care, he was an ass, and someone had to step on him. Bakugo half stood in his seat, attempting to appear threatening.

“Asui was right, you won’t ever be popular with an attitude like that, dude,” Mayumi butted in, briefly acknowledging Tsuyu’s quiet ‘call me Tsu’.

“What, like the dumb cat, right there,” Bakugo argued, pointing at Hisayo.

“Watch it, dude,” Mayumi snapped, taking on his glare.

Hisayo made an affirming hum noise and rolled her eyes, “Guys, I think he’s a lost cause. Ten years from now we’ll all be in the leagues, way up there, and we’ll think back one random night; what ever happen to the Bakugo guy?”

“Oh, yeah, and he’ll be looking at all of us, in magazines and on billboards,” Mina chimed in.

Uraraka giggled, “Your anger really won’t get you anywhere, Bakugo.”

“Screw you guys, I’ll be at the top,” He was damn near tearing holes into his seat now.

It was actually funny how angry he was, but when he went to continue ranting their teacher called out to them, to inform them they were at their training site. Still giggling at Bakugo’s outburst, they all filed off the bus.

“Hello, I’ve been waiting for you,” Hero Thirteen greeted them.

“Woah, it’s Thirteen,” Mayumi bounced excitedly.

“I love Thirteen,” Uraraka mimicked her. The class quietly chattered as they followed the pro hero into the training grounds. She had set up multiple disasters throughout the area for them.

“As you all are aware, my quirk is; Black hole. Whatever is sucked up, becomes dust,” Thirteen explained for them.

“You used it to save countless lives,” Midoriya relayed easily.

“Yes, but it can easily kill people too,” She warned, “Some of your quirks are powerful like that as well. In the superhuman society quirks have been certified and regulated so that the possibility doesn’t appear as a problem. But do not forget, many quirks can end a life with one wrong move.”

Hearing that made Mayumi squirm a little, she didn’t like to be reminded of that, she was aware of the damage she could accidentally cause. Well aware.

“Through Aizawa’s physical, you were able to see the possibilities of your own hidden powers, and I’m sure you’ve experienced the danger of using these powers against each other, from All Might’s combat training. Today, this class is a fresh start. You will learn how to use your quirks to save lives, not to harm others. My goal is for you guys to find understanding in the duality of your powers, when you leave,” Thirteen finished her speech.

“That was… so warming,” Hisayo mumbled, just as in awe as the rest of the class.

“Yeah, even if she was telling us we had the ability to kill people with our bare hands, she did it in such a nice way,” Mayumi chuckled, turning to pay attention to Aizawa as he started to speak.

He didn’t get very far, because suddenly the arena began malfunctioning. In the center of the area, a weird purpley portal emerged. No one could see it very well, but it sure put Aizawa on edge as he ordered them all to stay close together.

“Is this like the entrance exam? Has the lesson already started,” Kirishima asked, trying to see what was going on.

“I don’t think so, this is weird,” Hisayo stepped up next to Midoriya, hoping for a better view.

“Don’t move,” Aizawa repeated sharply, “This isn’t a lesson… Those are villains.”

That sent everyone into a slight panic, but still the class stayed put. These weren’t fake villains or a surprise test. This was real, there was a massive crowd of villains marching through the portal created.

“What about the trespassing sensors,” Momo asked, concerned as to why they weren’t going off?”

“I’m not sure why they aren’t activating,” Thirteen answered, worried, but calm.

“If they aren’t activated by this, that means one of the villains has a quirk that is masking their presence,” Todoroki explained, “They chose an isolated section of campus, during a lesson. They’re fools for invading U.A., but they clearly thought it out.”

“Thirteen, get them out of here and alert the main campus,” Aizawa ordered, quickly, “If they are blocking the sensors, they may be disrupting regular communication too. Kaminari, you try with your quirk as well.”

“Wait, Sensei, you can’t possibly handle them on your own,” Midoriya panicked, “No matter how many of their quirks you erase. Your fighting technique is to capture after erasing their quirk.”

“You can’t be a hero with one trick,” Aizawa said, before rushing off to handle the enemies.

They all started to hurry away from the arena, only for another weird purple portal to open up.  A large bodiless being floated through from it. There was no way to get around him, he had them trapped.

“Nice to meet you, we are the League of Villains. It may be a bit rude, but we have let ourselves into the home of heroes, U.A. high school, and I will not allow you to leave,” The yellow eyed freak promised, “Not until you witness All Might, the symbol of peace, take his final breath.”

“All Might,” Hisayo whispered to Tsu, “But he’s not here at this lesson…”

“Maybe he was supposed to be? But how would they know that,” Tsu replied as he continued speaking.

Mayumi gently slid Uraraka’s trembling frame behind her own, “Don’t worry, we’re gonna be fine. Thirteen won’t allow anything to happen.”

“Has there been a change? Where is All Might,” The villain asked again before sighing, “It doesn’t really matter, this is my duty.”

Just as Thirteen made a move to protect them, Bakugo and Kirishima took the chance first. In a blink, the area was filled with smoke, and they were blind for a moment. That moment was enough for the purple stuff to surround them completely.

One moment Mayumi was covering her face, the next she was hurling through the air. She cried out, feeling the warmth in the area. She tried to spin herself, so at least she could see where she would land, but something snagged around her waist and yanked her close.

“Ojiro,” She gasped as they landed.

“You alright, Hashiri,” He asked, letting her go.

“Yeah, could be better, though,” She spun around, seeing that they were in the disaster fire, “Did you see Mori, at all?”

“No, last I saw, she was near Jirou, I think. Maybe Tsuyu,” He answered, before looking up, “But, I think right now, we have bigger problems.”

“Damn it…” A few villains were beginning to come around them.

The two carefully analyzed the scene in front of them, carefully trying to figure a way out of it. Pretty sure, running wasn’t too simple of an option, but, they couldn’t really hide either, there were burning buildings all around them.

“Got a plan,” Mayumi asked, leaving him in charge.

“Not any good ones,” Ojiro shook his head.

“Then we’re just gonna have to run for our lives, huh,” Mayumi bluffed, taking a step back.

Ojiro took careful notice of the way her heel dug into the ground, and nodded, “Seems like the best option.”

“Alright then… Let’s do this,” Mayumi took a sharp breath and darted forwards, towards the closest villain.

Of course, the woman was caught off guard, she charged forwards ready to chase after them, but instead flew right into Mayumi’s fist. Mayumi took the brief moment of confusion and spun around to knock into the woman with her right arm, expelling just a little force.

She went down easy but when Mayumi ducked under a dense fist coming her way, she wasn’t quick enough to dodge the other coming towards her side.

She did her best to keep up with the villain she was now battling, but he was quick. She was taking more hits that she was giving and it was starting to pile up. In pain and energy in her body. Mayumi yelped as something sharp sliced her cheek, jumping back she saw that now the villain's hands are sharpened metal.

This man was a walking blade, fun.

She ducked under his knife hand and punched him with her left arm, but another villain interrupted her and tackled her to the side slamming her into one of the buildings. Now, it seemed she had two jerks in her corner, as the knife dude followed them in.

Mayumi groaned, picking herself up from the crater her body made. She rolled her shoulders feeling the buzzing in her body and put up her fists.

“Manage input and output, focus,” Mayumi mumbled to herself, “Alright, boys. Let’s go.”

The one that tackled her came rushing forwards, his quirk seemed to be strength related, so she sidestepped him, and punched his side outputting energy. He barreled into a wall, knocking it down, making the building shake a bit. She ducked under the knife guy and punched him in the stomach, sending him backwards.

Quicker than expected, the big guy was up and back on her, again. She dodged some of his blows and tried to absorb others with her hand, but again, she wasn’t fast enough. She grunted when a body shot sent her to the floor, and barely had time to roll out of the way of a sharp arm aimed for her throat.

It just barely caught the shoulder of her costume, snagging Mayumi and him in place just a little too long. The big guy came rushing at her arms raised, ready to flatten her into the ground. Panicking a little bit, she tried to focus on the buzzing in her legs again.

She did it once, she could do it again. As he got close enough, the buzzing was only in her calves, so she lifted her left leg and kicked him in her chest. His body flew straight through the wall and her own slid right between the knife dude’s legs and out of the building.

“Hashiri,” Ojiro caught her sliding body and they both watched the building cave in, effectively halting the villains inside. He winced, looking at the gash down her arm, “You okay? You're bleeding.”

“Yeah, next time, you get the pointy guy,” She huffed, holding her arm.

Oijro laughed, and helped her up, “Yes, ma’am. Come on.”

In other areas, Hisayo was swimming through the shipwreck area, she hated water, not because she was a cat. But because it made her slow. She either had to focus on not dying or not drowning. Her little body was snatched up from the water, Tsu having noticed her finally.

“Are you alright, ribbit,” Tsu set her down carefully on the boat.

After shaking the excess water off her fur she switched back to human and stood up, “Yeah, thank you.”

“You need to be brushed… there’s a lot of fur on my tongue… ribbit,” Tsu muttered.

Hisayo made a face, embarrassed, “I’m sorry, I haven’t really had time. Anyway, uh, what’s the plan?”

Midoriya spoke up, “We think they’re trying to kill All Might, they must have a way to do so. These villains must have stolen the schedule, and All Might was supposed to be here. So we have to stop their plans right now.”

Hisayo nodded, agreeing, “If they have something to defeat All Might, it would be too important to use on a bunch of kids right?”

“That’s probably why there are so many of them. Divide and conquer us? All Might would’ve been too focused on making sure we were safe to properly defend himself,” Tsu theorized, “But, he’s not here.”

“Yeah, so let’s capitalize on that fact,” Hisayo tied her hair up, starting to form a plan, “Starting with these fish first.”

“We just said they are trying to kill All Might and we’re going to fight them,” Mineta cried, “Seriously!?”

“They probably assume we are going to try and fight in the water,” Midoriya said, looking over at them.

“Does that mean they knew what the facility would be like before gathering here,” Tsu asked.

Hisayo clicked her tongue, “Probably, especially if they stole the schedules, they probably know the ins and outs of this area.”

“But for villains that gathered so much intel, they still sent Tsuyu- uh, Tsu! I meant they sent Tsu to the shipwreck,” Midoriya stumbled over the frog girl’s name, again.

“It’s okay, take your time, ribbit,” Tsu encouraged.

Hisayo ignored Mineta’s crying and continued Midoriya’s thought process, “Anyway, they were probably so focused on All Might, that they didn’t even learn about us. Meaning, none of them know what our quirks are.”

“Or they just thought they would overpower us with numbers,” Midoriya added.

“Either way, it was pretty stupid,” Hisayo picked at the fur on her tail, worried about her sister. She had no clue where she ended up, or with who. She was trying to focus on the task at hand but this whole situation made her anxious, “The only thing we have to our advantage is the fact they don’t know what we can do.”

“Exactly, and our enemies aren't trying to climb the boat to get to us, they want us to get in with them,” Midoriya pointed out.

“Okay, well, Tsuyu- Tsu has the best chance down there, but I can distract a few of them. I’m slow in the water, but hard to hit,” Hisayo tried.

“No, too dangerous, we might have trouble getting you out of the way, if you’re in danger,” Tsu shook her head, “My quirk allows me to jump high, stick to walls and my tongue, I can stick it out about twenty meters. I can also spit out my stomach and wash it and I secrete a mucus that burns just a bit.”

Immediately Mineta got real gross, real quick. They just ignored him and continued, Midoriya speaking up next, “I have super strength, but I’m kind of useless after using it.”

“I’m like Tsu, but with cat abilities. Obviously, I can turn into a cat, but I can also jump high, I see clearly in the dark and my hearing is much stronger when my cat ears are out. I have claws, and I normally land on my feet or hands,” Hisayo explained, “I can sterilize wounds with my tongue, and if I switch back and forth too often, I have to sleep afterwards. Like… I actually have some form of narcolepsy.”

Mineta spoke up next, “My quirk can make these stick really, really well to stuff. Sometimes I can make them stick for a whole day, if I’m feeling like it. They grow back when I pull them off, but if I pull too many, my scalp starts bleeding. They won’t stick to me though, they just bounce right off.”

Everyone looked at him, silently. Not in a judgemental way, just quiet. But he took it the wrong way and began panicking again, “See, this is why we should just wait. My quirk is totally useless in battle.”

“No, no that wasn’t what we were thinking,” Midoriya tried as Mineta cried more.

“Mine’s pretty useless too, idiot. We’re just gonna have to work with it- Oh shit,” Hisayo yelped as the boat was suddenly attacked, a massive water hand, striking it in half.

“The boat is broken,” Tsu pointed out as it started sinking, “It’ll go down, really fast.”

Her words were drowned out as Mineta ran to the edge of the boat and started hurling his balls over the edge. Midoriya quickly stopped him, as they would figure out his quirk and they’d lose the advantage. But he noticed something, and stopped, but Mineta continued to sob, dramatically.

“Dude… What the hell are you doing in the hero course…” Hisayo asked, appalled.

“I wonder if he joined to actually be a hero,” Tsu stated, genuinely disappointed.

Mineta only cried more, “It’s way more weird that you’re not terrified right now! We’re on the brink of death and the year just started! I thought I’d at least get to touch Yaoyorozu’s boobs before dying!”

“I can also throw up hairballs…nothing special, it’s just gross and I’m gonna do it to him,” Hisayo stared at Mineta and slowly started to gag, building up a hairball, just for him. She turned to Midoriya, still gagging, “We could toss him to the sharks and they might think he’s a bomb.”

But he only looked at her with real determination in his eyes, “Once they think they’ve won, we fight.”

Hisayo took a deep breath, “Alright, fake it til we make it kinda plan. I can roll with that. I’m gonna jump in and get them focused on me.”

“Wait! What if I hit you,” Midorya yelled as Hisayo rushed towards the edge. She pushed off the railing, not giving him a second thought. She trusted his aim. Mostly.

Getting close to one villain, she flipped, switching into a cat, she landed on his face, claws attaching to his cheeks, but paused. Suddenly she began making a horrible choking noise, “No, help, help! It’s gonna throw up on me! It’s on my face!”

He tried yanking her off, but her claws only dug in further as the hairball came up. He screamed in absolute disgust and finally pried her off. She switched back to human and kicked off of him, pushing him into another villain, her hairball, smearing into the other's face too.

Hisayo used her human body weight to kick one under the surface and then flipped her body, using the momentum to drag him out of the water and throw him into the air. Switching back, quickly, she dove into the water, easily latching onto the back of another villain.

He tried to swim away, dragging her along and flailing through the water, but she switched back, and took a hold of his fins on the side of his hand and yanked as hard as she could, bringing him to a painful stop. Another villain came, rushing at her, and she simply twisted her body to use the other as a shield.

The villain slammed into them both, pushing them out of the water and into the air, Just in time to see Midoriya use his quirk on the water’s surface. Hisayo kicked off of her villain shield, and barreled into her classmate's body, catching him, sort of.

“Tsu! Now,” Midoriya yelled.

Immediately, a tongue wrapped around both of them keeping them out of the massive whirlpool Midoriya created. Mineta started ripping off his sticky balls and threw them into the water, as the water pressure brought all the villains together in the middle. With that, now they were all trapped together, even as they were all thrown from the water.

“Hell yeah, Mineta! See! Not completely useless,” Hisayo cheered, as they landed a safe distance away.

“I had a pretty big bowel movement today, so those should stick all day,” Mineta promised.

Hisayo made a face, “And you ruined the moment. Midoriya, he ruined the moment,” But looking over she saw him eyeing the area Aizawa was fighting in. A deep concentrated look that could only mean one thing, “Midoriya, we should really try and either find our classmates, or get to the exit.”

“I’m not thinking anything to get in Sensei’s way or too dangerous. Just lessen his load,” Midoriya tried, but Hisayo wasn’t having it.

“If we go over there, he’s just going to focus on us not dying. That’s going to put us in his way,” She explained, “Trust me, I understand we’re at a hero school, and we really should defend ourselves, but dude, this was a sneak attack to kill All Might. We need to leave this up to the Pros right now.”

A loud, sickening crunch caught their attention, making them all go still. Slowly, they turned to look and found a terrifying creature in the fight. A burly, purple beaked monster, standing over their teacher, who laid horrifyingly still.

“I support Mori’s idea of running,” Mineta whispered, crying again.

“Ribbit…” Tsu muttered in agreement.

“What… the fuck is that…” Hisayo slowly sank into the water, again, “We have got to get out of here.”

The purple warp guy reappeared, next to the lanky one. Apparently someone got out of the gates, running for help, so now, they had to retreat.

“They’re going home,” Mineta whispered, before latching on to Tsu, specifically her chest, like the weirdo he was, crying that they were saved.

“I don’t understand,” Hisayo mumbled, as Tsu started to hold Mineta under the water. If someone called for help it would probably include All Might, so why were they running now. Hisayo couldn’t figure out what the deal was, what she did know was that they were all in a very dangerous situation.

“To retreat after all this trouble,” Midoriya shook his head, “It doesn’t make sense…”

In a breath of a moment, not even that, probably. The lanky leader was in front of them. Hand reaching out, just barely brushing Tsu’s skull. They all stood ridged, having witnessed what this man’s hands did to the teacher’s arm, now resting against their classmate’s face.

But nothing happened.

“Damn it… EraserHead. You really are cool…” The man rasped out, shifting to look over at Aizawa, who was able to clear his quirk.

Just the perfect amount of time for Hisayo to snatch Tsu out of reach of the man and Midoriya to give them space from him all together. She ducked under the water, just barely avoiding the shockwave he put out. She gave Tsu a quick once over, as they popped out of the water’s surface.

“Oh my god, oh my god,” She gasped frantically moving the frog’s hair out of the way.

“I’m okay, ribbit,” Tsu promised.

They looked back to watch the smoke clear, to see the damage on the villain. But they deflated as the weird purple monster stood in front of him. The distraction was enough to encourage the villain to leap towards the three in the water, while the monster took a hold of Midoriya. Hisayo grabbed on to Mineta and Tsu, while Tsu stuck her tongue out to grapple Midoriya, but everything was happening so fast.

For the first time in her life, Hisayo’s life genuinely flashed before her eyes as his hand was closing in on her face.

It was just what she thought it would be. Her house, her bedroom, her moms, Mayumi. Oh, god, Mayumi was going to be destroyed after her death. She witnessed the wrath of her sister after Mayumi found out who put the nick in her ear at lunch. She’d never been the calm type or bigger person, she always walked on the revenge path, even when wanted to be a hero. It would probably make her a pretty good one too… Tears welled once it set in that Hisayo wouldn’t see the day her sister became one…

But she did. Sort of.

Suddenly the monster and the leader had been dropped into a crater in an instant. In the creature’s place was none other than Mayumi. Her eyes wide and wet, her body laying on the ground and her arm still held out where the monster had been displaced from. She had thrown her energy into the ground below the monster, creating a sink hole below it.

Before anyone could genuinely address the situation, a loud crash called their attention to the entrance. At the top of the arena, All Might, finally, the man of the hour stood.

“I’ve been waiting hero…” The leader called as the creature jumped out of the hole, watching  All Might do quick work of his lackeys.

Again, in a dizzying flurry, the four students were snatched from the spot and were placed at a safe distance in the plaza. They were so confused as to what happened they almost didn’t hear All Might’s orders.

Midoryia helped Aizawa up and started carrying him away, everyone else carefully following, but still watching the fight. Hisayo grabbed Mayumi’s hand, the stress of what just nearly happened, evident in her shanking grip.

“Oh no…” Tsu gasped, making the girls look back, with everyone else.

“Shit…”

“Oh god.”

“All Might!”

All Might was trapped in a warp in a roundabout way, the monster now having the advantage, with its claws deep in All Might’s side. It was clear that the monster was just as strong, maybe even stronger than All Might. Midoriya was already ushering Aizawa off of his shoulders onto Hisayo’s and started running towards the fight.

Mayumi stuttered in her steps for a moment. She wanted to go help, but that thing was terrifying and she couldn’t just leave Hisayo again. But… her body wanted, needed to go towards that fight, he was going to die.

Hisayo let go of her sister’s hand, “Go.”

“Sayo…” Mayumi argued.

“Go, we’ll get Sensei to safety. You guys help All Might,” Hisayo pushed her a little.

“God, this is so incredibly stupid…” Mayumi pushed back her hair before crouching down. She pushed the force through her legs and leaped off the ground, using her quirk to catch up to her classmate.

Midoriya reached the fight before she did, but she was close behind. She wasn’t sure how to properly use her legs with her quirk, so her landing was a bit off, but manageable. She rolled along the ground underneath the warp and came face to face with a weird metal piece in the purple mist. Not thinking too hard about its consequences, she punched it, sending it hurling into the air.

A perfect placement for Bakugo, to grab it and slam it into the ground. The ground became cold, her ear actually started to hurt from the temperature and she turned to find Todoroki standing at the end of an ice path.

“Die foggy suck up,” Bakugo shouted at the metal, while Kirishima took a missed jab at the leader.

“You wouldn’t be able to kill The Symbol of Peace,” Todoroki said, plain faced.

“Kacchan… Hashiri, guys? You’re all here,” Midoriya helped Mayumi up.

“I just saved you from dying, I refuse to let it be for nothing,” She offered weakly, stomping her foot a few times, building up more force.

It was still for a moment, but the leader started to speak, noting out the turn of events, “Kurogiri, has been overtaken, our exit plan…”

“You turned out to be exactly what I expected,” Bakugo taunted the warp villain, “If you didn’t have a physical body, you wouldn’t have defended against us earlier, since it shouldn’t have even touched you. But you slipped up ‘that was close’ is what gave you away. Now don’t move, or I’ll blow you sky high!”

“He’s not very hero like…” Kirishima pointed out.

Mayumi shrugged, “At least the psycho is on our side?”

“Oi! Piss off you stupid sandbag,” Bakugo shouted, making Mayumi bristle in confusion.

“I think… I’m offended? But I'm not really sure,” She said, tilting her head to the side.

“I think it’s because with your quirk you can absorb the impact when someone hits you, but other than that he thinks you're useless,” Kirishima tried to explain, gently.

“Oh, oh, that makes sense. Got it,” Mayumi nodded, “So yes, very offensive.”

“Yeah, yeah,” Bakugo rolled his eyes.

“Nomu,” The leader called.

Suddenly the weird monster, with complete disregard for his body, broke itself free of Todoroki’s ice and pulled itself out of the warp, below. The way its limbs just fell off, yet it still stood up, made Mayumi’s skin crawl.

“Even though its body is broken, on the ground, it’s still moving,” Midoriya choked, as it started to regrow its body parts.

“What the hell is that,” Mayumi yelped, before looking over at her teacher, “Sorry All Might.”

“His quirk isn’t shock absorption,” All Might recalled.

The leader hummed, appearing bored, “I never said that was his only quirk. Nomu has been modified to match your pace, All Might, one hundred percent. Now we need to get our gate back. Nomu.”

Quickly, the Nomu locked onto Bakugo, and then faster than anyone could see, it charged. None of them would’ve made it in time, but it didn’t matter. Bakugo was suddenly on his butt, right next to them.

“Kacchan? You dodged that? Amazing,” Midoriya gasped.

“No. Shut up, bastard,” Bakugo snapped.

Mayumi was surprised too, he should’ve been splattered where the dust was settling. The Nomu and Kurogiri, were just a few inches off from the hole Mayumi made, and they followed the draglines to find All Might.

“Do you know no restraint,” All Might scolded, “These are children!”

The leader shrugged, “I had to do what was needed to save my comrades. Like the plain kid there,” He pointed to Midoriya, “He was ready to punch me with everything he had. Violence to save others is what makes it okay, right?”

All Might only glared harder at the man, “Now, All Might. I’m angry. The same acts that make a villain make a hero! Symbol of Peace? You’re just a machine to redirect violence! The world will understand once we kill you, Symbol of Peace.”

“That’s preposterous. Your hate burns silently in your eyes. You just want to give the world a reason aside from enjoying the pain you bring upon people,” All Might argued, calling him out.

“It’s three against six,” Todoroki stated.

“And we know what the fog’s weakness is,” Midoriya added, taking a stance.

Mayumi nodded, moving to stand her ground, “Maybe take out the leader? The monster won’t know what to do.”

“These guys might be insane, but we can push them back, with All Might-” All Might cut Kirishima off.

“No,” He ordered, “You all. Run away.”

“Gonna bite the bullet, you were a little screwed without help,” Mayumi said, trying to be nice about it.

Todoroki backed her up, “If I hadn’t done anything earlier you would’ve been in trouble.”

“And for that, I thank you young Todoroki. But for now, watch as a pro gives it all he’s got,” All Might promised.

The leader scoffed and ordered his companions after All Might, while he himself rushed them. Yet, All Might didn’t waste any time, he surged into a straight fist fight with the Nomu thing, creating a massive shock wave. The air around them was becoming a dangerous fortress, debris flew around as the arena began to give away.

“Get down,” Mayumi yelled, snatching Bakugo by his collar. She stomped a hole into the ground, dropping them all down, and out of the way of a tree that was hurled at them.

“Quick thinking, Hashiri,” Midoriya praised.

“Get off of me,” Bakugo slapped her hand off of him.

She closed her eyes, trying not to snap at him, but she let a little slip. “You could just say thanks.”

The hero’s speed and power was beyond comprehension. She’d never seen All Might fight in person, and even seeing his videos online couldn’t compare to this. Every strike he made was calculated, perfectly timed, faster than the creature was built to keep up with. Finally with one throw, he sent the beast clear out of the arena.

This was amazing.

The true power of the Symbol of Peace.

“He… just kept hitting him so fast…” Mayumi gaped.

“He nullified the shock absorption…” Kirishima added.

“He must’ve fought him so fast, he couldn’t regenerate. That’s insane power,” Even Bakugo was dumbfounded.

“In my prime. Five hits would’ve been enough… but this took more than three hundred,” All Might boasted.

“Did you freaking count too,” Mayumi gasped, pulling herself out of her hole, followed by the others. “Come on, we need to get out of here. All Might’s got it covered.”

“Yeah, it’ll be worse if we get snatched as hostages,” Kirishima agreed.

But none of them moved any further. It was almost like they couldn’t. They just stared on, watching the scene play out. Behind them, lackeys started to get back up, drawing their attention as the leader rushed All Might. They all turned to defend against the little league, all except Midoriya.

He was gone in a blink. Straight towards the mist guy and the leader. They all shouted his name, but none of them would make it in time. Just as she watched on earlier, from her bush, that man’s hand reached directly towards Midoriya’s face, ready to simply execute him. She wasn’t aware of when she was running, but a loud bang echoed in the air, making her flinch and stumble just a bit.

There was a bullet hole in his hand now, the shot having pushed his hand away from Midoriya. She slid to her knees, just as Midoriya’s body was falling and threw her hands out, just barely grazing the metal body of the mist and Midoriya. They both flew several feet away from her, and most importantly each other.

Finally, reinforcements had arrived and it was over now.

They were finally able to just leave.

Hisayo bounded down the stairs, straight into Mayumi’s arms, making her grunt in pain, “You’re okay? You’re okay! You’re okay, you stupid, stupid, damned idiot woman. Why did I let you go down there?”

Mayumi just mumbled and pulled her close again, “Yell at me later. For now, help me up these stairs… My body hurts.”

“Yeah, I’m sure. Since when could you jump like that,” Hisayo asked, carefully pulling her up the stairs.

“Mori! You should’ve seen it! Hashiri was so cool,” Kirishima started to recount the events and Mayumi turned red quickly, but he wasn’t even paying attention, “She punched the shadowy thing just right, so Bakugo could catch it! And she made a safe pocket for us so we wouldn’t get blown away or rocked by trees and then she ran after Midoriya and shoved him and the bad guys apart. It was awesome!”

Mayumi cleared her throat and opened her mouth but Hisayo cut her off, “Yeah, my sister is pretty cool, guys,” Mayumi groaned a little when Hisayo hugged her a bit tighter, “Maybe she’ll show off more.”

“No thanks, seriously, that was terrifying,” Mayumi laughed a little, “Um, but, let’s not tell moms everything, maybe.”

“Dude, we’re not telling them shit.”
