Chapter 5

Ron sighed shuffling into the First floor Classroom that was to be Firstie Study Hall, Prefects would rotate months. The room had been cleaned up and the desks had been replaced with low tables and squishy bean chairs. Ron ditched his bag by the long table meant for the Prefects to sit at. Waving his wand he opened the windows to let the warm sun stream in.

“Ohh good you already opened the Windows Thank you.” Millicent Walked in her hands full with a tray of snacks. Ron blinked, nodded, walked over and took the Tray from her, his ears red from embarrassment.

“Sure, it was a bit stuffy in here. I didn't think the Sprogs would like it too warm.” Ron replied, setting the tray down, unloading the plates of snacks at each table, swiping a cookie for himself as he did so. “Elves out did themselves, that's the best Cookie I’ve had.” He added sitting down in one of the Chairs munching on the last bit of cookie.

“Oh Thank you I actually was the one who made the Cookies.” Millicent Replied blushing prettily. Ron did a double take and for the First time actually looked at the girl. Long dirty blond hair covered her face, light brown eyes like brown sugar sparkled at the Compliment, a tiny nose and a round face. She was tall but had leaned out over the years. She had a nice bum; She was quite curvy, he thought.

“Really, Didn’t know you cooked. Honestly, I think these are on par with my Mums.” Ron replied, snatching another cookie from the plate he had sat on the big table.

“My Mum wanted me to Learn, I actually quite enjoy it. Thank you for appreciating them. I have heard that your mother is an amazing cook.” Millie smiled sitting in the Chair next to him.

“She’s got to be to feed all of us, We are all big eaters even Percy. Fred used to joke that it'd take roasting a family of Dragon’s to feed all us when ravenous.” Ron replied softly, clearing his throat trying not to let the memory of his brother over take him.

“I had an older Brother who passed away when I was 4. He was the best big brother. He was my only sibling. I thought he raised and lowered the Sun. You must have felt the same way about all of your brothers. I’m sure it's been hard on you. I'm sure it's been hardest on George though, to suddenly have the other part of you be ripped away. Mum used to tell me that Twins were solemates that never wanted to be without each other.” Millicent smiled sadly.

“Yeah Georgie’s a right mess, I like that maybe He’ll get to be With Freddie again someday.” Ron grinned at Millicent, she nodded and pulled out a leather bound Book Just as the First of the First years walked in.

“Welcome Please find a seat.” She Smiled as the children filtered in the room. “Afternoon everyone I Millicent please feel Free to Call me Mille, This is Ron now we Prefects have set up this little Study hour every other Day Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 4 pm. This little session will be set up for anyone in need of Help Attendance in not Mandatory but we do Expect attendance as we have so willingly given up an hour of our Free time to help you with anything. Every month a new set of Prefects will rotate in so that you get to know all of us and we get to know you. Now this group is not only to help you with homework but any questions you may have about our world or any Arguments that you cannot resolve. We are here to help you in whatever you think you need help with.” Mille smiled at the children who munched on her cookies happily.

“You lot are kids, it's expected that you'll fight, but I do want to make one thing Clear there will be no bullying of anyone, blood status doesn't matter one bit. Being Different is just that hurting someone because of those reasons will not stand. Words can be as hurtful, if not more so than being hit. Any of you that have a problem following this rule will be reported to the Headmistress.” Ron stood scanning the Room trying to inflict as much authority in his voice as he could. “Now you lot, had better eat every single cookie; Millie made them special for you but I have no problem eating them for you.” He grinned at the shocked faces of the kids reaching for more cookies. Millie laughed at his actions, smiling softly.

“Today’s meeting is just a short introduction to us who will be with you for the month. Wednesday we will go over any homework and help you learn how to pen an essay. Please Enjoy the cookies and if you have any concerns about anything Ron and I will be here until 4:15.” Millicent smiled.
“Miss.” A little girl raised her hand.

“Yes, Sara McDolt; correct.” Millie smiled.

“Yes Miss I was wondering if you could show me how to prepare this properly, Mum uses fountain pens and never showed me how to use a quill.” The little girl asked, pulling her quill from her bag and a few kids followed suit.

“Oh dear do you all have Pen knives?” Millie asked, pulling her from her bag, head shakes round the room caused Millie to blink at Ron.

“Right we can get a few Knives this weekend since we are of age we are allowed off campus, you lot will need to bring 10 Knuts each for a new knife. If you find you are missing other supplies we can arrange to pick it up for you. Millie you Make a list of everyone who needs a knife and mark off the ones who give us the money.” Ron nodded, striding over to the closest table and began to show the boys how to prep a quill. Millie joined him rounding to the other side of the room going table to table.

The hour passed quicker than Ron realized the children rushed out of the room leaving him alone with Millie again. She practically Danced around the room humming as she cleaned the tables. Ron flicked his wand shutting the windows that he had opened earlier.

"Would you like some help taking the Tray and plates back to the Kitchen." Ron asked, sliding his bag back on his shoulder.

"Oh I couldn't possibly ask you to do that, It's not all that much." Millie beamed and all but ran from the room leaving a puzzled Ron in her Wake.

'Interesting' Ron mused He could do worse than a woman who's moves he could not predict, one who seemed to enjoy kids and them damn cookies were worth their weight in gold as far as he was concerned. Trust a Weasley man to make a decision based on his overwhelming appetite.
