Tisha’s hand glided against the wall, to have a sense of direction.

Vee had taken the opportunity to run off with Shelly, leaving Tisha isolated in the pitch black. She could hear the annoyed murmurs of other toons who had left their rooms, but couldn’t see them.

Tisha turns back warily, seeing a pair of eyes behind her. The outline of a monstrosity, claws and all. She double checks to make sure, her own fear seeming to silence all other sound around her.

No internal reassurance is working as she frequently glances back, still seeing that same figure behind her.

She momentarily freezes up when she feels a hand on her shoulder, her breath hitching in her throat.

Tisha bursts down the hallway in a panic, her breaths heavier and quicker as irrationality further seeps into her actions.

She bumps into walls and corners, ignorant of what she’s running into and more focussed on getting as far away as possible.

Tripping and falling over made it even worse. Eyes loomed above her, unreadable in the dark.

She could hear barely anything at this point, her own wheezes of breath and racing mind taking up whatever she could hear.

Tisha curls up on her side, muttering about how dead she was. Tears fell from her face and onto the floor, shaking.

A normally rational and witty woman, dying curled up and crying in the middle of a floor she can’t even recognize.

Dying. Dying afraid. In the dark. Alone.

The lights flicker on, the building returning to light as suddenly as it had turned off.

Connie looked down at Tisha with an expression of confused worry.

Connie. Of course. It was Connie.

Tisha sat up on the floor, trying to catch her breath. Connie hesitantly reaches out a dark hand to Tisha, just to watch her flinch away and stand up and burst off back to her room.

Connie looked back with confusion, while Shelly and Vee approached side-by-side.

“Is she…” Shelly’s head tilted.

”I don’t know what happened!” Connie looks in the direction that Tisha had run off in.

Shelly sighs, grabbing Vee’s forearm weakly. “Come on.”

Tisha leaned against her desk, looking into the mirror placed on it.

“Dumbass!” Tisha hisses. “Of course it was Connie…Pull it together.” Despite everything she did, she couldn’t understand why she was still a mess. Shaking, Sweating, Erratic, Crying. She was good with physical health, this wasn’t exactly her specialty.

Tisha jolts when she hears a knock on the door. “Busy!” Tisha immediately responds.

”…Can I come in?” Shelly’s voice is recognizable through the door. She’s gripping Vee’s wrist, who stands behind Shelly.
