Erecto Draco

I headed towards the library, Crabbe and Goyle in tow. I raced up the stairs and looked down to see my goons collapsed and panting on the landing as the stairs moved away without them. I ran forward by myself. They couldn’t help me, I couldn’t trust them. Their natural dim-wittedness made is hard to tell, but whatever enchanted the headmaster had most certainly gotten to them too.

As I made my way through the halls muttering curses under my breath, a Ravenclaw girl sprung from behind a column and forced me to stop in my tracks.

“OMG Draco the WHOLE school has been wondering,” she cast a spell on her quill to record our conversation. Since when did we have a fucking school newspaper?

“Have you and y/n started dating?”. I shoved her through the window and didn’t even watch as she soared through the air and thudded onto the courtyard below. Enough was enough.

I passed the librarian trying to catch an escaped chocolate frog and swiftly jumped over the barrier guarding the restricted section. Whatever spell had been cast would certainly not be sitting out for anyone to find. Lucky for me, the recent start of term rendered the library unusually empty so I began to scan the dusty spines. Love curses through the ages, it seemed a promising start. I pulled the book out to reveal none other than y/n on the other side of the shelf.

“Oh WOW Draco” y/n licked her tiny chapped lips and pulled another book off the shelf

-“CRUCIO!” My hand was already clumsily grasping my wand. The spark of light sprung towards y/n and bounced off? Books flew off their shelves. Several piercing wails made me grind me teeth & stressfully tighten my wand grip. In the chaos of the restricted books screaming and flapping around; I ran as fast as I could to the owlery. It was time to tell my father.
