Summary
war era marauders fic, told through the many diaries and journals of the characters. short chapters and frequent updates are my goal. hopefully this is a war era fix that won't make anyone cry, but you all know my writing, so we'll see where it goes. i have a vague plot idea but honestly it could change at any moment.

I suppose it's about time I break in this diary, huh?

Mission prep has started. Sucks that it has to happen over New Year's Eve, but I get it. Hopefully we'll be back by midnight though, I'd hate to miss out on James' blueberry buckle.

I'm worried about James. I'm worried about everyone. Everyone's acting like they're okay, but I can tell. It's in all the little things they do. It doesn't feel like sitting in the Gryffindor common room, as much as everyone wants to pretend it does. There's this dread in the space between the lines, and it's only going to get harder to ignore.
