Chapter 1
Harry looked at Mother Magic tiredly. He was done with life. He no longer wanted to be in the living world. The woman smiled softly. She knew of his deeds and she knew he needed no trial to get into her domain. But she also knew he was connected to Death. There was no rest for his soul. There was no rest for him. "You can not enter my domain, childe," she said with regret.
"What do you mean, Voldemort is gone...I sacrificed everything," Harry said weakly. "Can’t I just have this one thing?" he whimpered. His soul was longing to drop the leader mask that he had been forced to wear. "Everyone I want to be with is in there."
"I am sorry, but death has not collected you...and they refuse to collect their master...their complete opposite," she explained softly. "Your journey is not over, your body is dead...but I can create a new one and send you to a different place. A different time and dimension."
Harry sighed as he rubbed his neck. "Will I retain my memories?" Harry asked weakly.
"Yes, sadly I cannot remove your memories. Death will only allow their master a new body... everything else must stay the same," the woman admitted sadly.
"Can...Can I make requests?" Harry asked hesitantly.
"Yes, you may," the woman said with a nod, "but I reserve the right to veto them."
Harry nodded knowing that was the best he would get. "Can...Can I keep my eye color?" Harry asked softly.
"Yes," she said with a nod.
"My name?" Harry asked hopefully.
"We will have to modify it, Hadrian Peverell or Hadrian of Stinchcombe," she offered.
"Stinchcombe?" Harry asked, confused.
"One of your ancestor's names before he became Potterer... and that was later shortened to Potter," she explained.
"Let's go with Peverell," Harry said, still a little hesitant.
"Would you mind brothers?" she asked curiously.
"I guess, never had them other than the Weasleys," Harry admitted as he rubbed his arm nervously.
"Any other requests?" she asked.
"Not that I know of," he replied after taking a few moments to think on it .
She nodded and waved her hand around and like that, his body had changed.
"I've input the new memories into your mind and they will be the ones you pull up first." She hesitated for a moment before continuing. "I should inform you that the time I have set for you, the Peverell's... the ones that will be your parents... they are a creature pair," she said kindly.
"Creatures... like... Veela?" Harry asked, confused.
"You haven't had the experience to fully interact with the creatures of this world, with the wizards taking over your time. Just follow the memories I have given you, alright?" she said with a reassuring smile.
"W-What creatures are my parents?" Harry asked nervously.
"Your parental unit is made up of Several creatures, actually," she said kindly. "Your carrier needed them to ground him."
"Him?" Harry asked weakly.
"Yes, your carrier was able to bear children due to his creature," she said with a smile. "Your parental unit consists of Cat Sith, Demon, Draken, Elven, Fae, Kitsune, and Naga. Your carrier is a submissive fae, and the rest are his mates," she explained.
"What...What creature will I be?" Harry asked, a tinge of fear and curiosity in his voice.
"Is there anything else you wish to ask?" she asked curiously.
"No, that is it, I guess," Harry said nervously.
"Then go find out what you are," she said with a soft smile as she pushed him.
Harry screamed as he fell. Feeling something flare in his body, he screamed in pain until he ended up passing out.
When Harry gained some sort of consciousness, he heard voices. "Hurry, go get Aurora, Hadrian is waking," he heard one say before they muttered, "of course he wakes right after I dress him, you little imp."
Hadrian whimpered as he opened his eyes slightly. "Shh little one, Papa's got you," the masculine voice cooed. Hadrian couldn't get a good look at the face so he closed his eyes again.
"Move it, Luci! I want my baby!" a more feminine voice scolded.
"But Aurora, I ha-"
"Move!" The one that was soothing him grumbled but did as they were told. "Mama's here, Haddy," the voice cooed.
"Mama?" he whimpered out.
"Shhh I know, growing in your wings hurt, huh?" the voice cooed as they brushed his hair back. Hadrian tried opening his eyes again to see a male with pitch black hair and green eyes. "There is my baby boy," he cooed.
"Hurts," Hadrian whimpered.
"I know, feel like you can get up? Your Paa can help your back some," Aurora soothed.
"Creature?" Hadrian whimpered.
"You're a draken, sweetie. Or, well, a subclass of draken, I suppose. It seems like your body couldn't decide and merged the fae blood with the draken and made a fae draken," he said with a smile.
"Not the first time the Draken blood has merged with something. It's how we have sea dragons," a male voice teased. Hadrian's mind supplied that it was Pere.
"Is everyone here?" Hadrian asked weakly.
"No, little one. Your father and dad are both making breakfast for all 19 of your siblings," his Mama grumbled.
Hadrian blinked as he tried to think of why it was said like that. Then he remembered that his siblings were amongst the first people at Hogwarts. "They are home?" Hadrian asked hopefully. He then tried to think about why he wasn't there, only to remember that he had been held back because he was presenting.
"Yes, they seemed to have high praises," his mama said teasingly as he helped Hadrian sit up. "Just lean on me, baby," he cooed.
Hadrian did as he was told and leaned against his mama. He whined and cooed as he felt something touch his wing. "Shh I know, little one, your wings are sensitive right now."
"Papa, Dad wants to know whe- Oh god, did Haddy finish presenting!?!?" a voice asked excitedly.
"Shh Madaline, keep your voice down," his papa scolded.
"Sorry Papa, what is he? Why did his presentation take so long?" she asked worriedly.
"The fae and draken genetics combined. He's a fae draken," Papa explained.
"Oh...So he has to be held back with Jack?" she questioned softly.
"No, Jack doesn't need to be held back. Fae dominants quicken their growth until they are adults. So Jack can technically be moved ahead if he paid attention. Hadrian will have a hard time progressing in school."
"My baby is a genius and you all know it!" his mama scolded.
"Sorry, Mama."
"Sorry, Darling."
"Alright, little one, we are going to move your wings now," his paa warned him. Hadrian gulped and nodded his head. He whined low as his back seared with pain. Hadrian tried to tough it out through the pain but gave a pitiful whine when it became too much. "Alright, I understand." His paa put his wings back down and wiped them down.
"Everything alright?" his mama asked worriedly.
"Yes, luckily we have fae dragons around so we know how they grow. Hadrian's wings will be tender, almost near-painful for the next month or so. We will have to keep doing these exercises, though. Alright, my little flame?" Paa warned.
"No more today?" Hadrian asked weakly.
"No more today. It's once a day," Paa explained.
"Okay, anything else?" Hadrian asked weakly.
"None. Feeling up to walking, or do you want me to carry you?" Paa asked kindly.
Hadrian whimpered. "Carry? Please."
"Of course, little one." Paa picked up Hadrian and without waiting for anyone, they made their way out of the bedroom. Hadrian took this time to memorize Paa. The male was clearly over 6 feet. His hair was pitch black and he had grey eyes. "What's the matter, little flame?"
"Just seeing if anything has changed now that my eyes have changed," Hadrian tried explaining. Paa just chuckled as he walked.
"You'll notice more details but nothing will change," he calmly stated. "Notice anything you didn't before?"
Hadrian looked closely before automatically speaking. "I never really noticed how deep the claw mark right above your eye really went."
"Yes well, that's what happens when you fight for your submissive. Speaking of which, we need to settle a place for your courtship trials," Paa said calmly.
"What?" Hadrian said quickly.
"Your courtship trials, little flame," Paa said in a teasing voice.
"But...But I'm part fae?" Hadrian protested. "S-Shouldn't we hold off for a bit?" Hadrian asked weakly.
"Little flame, this isn't like you. What is going on?" Paa said as he stood there, looking down at Hadrian. "Are you worried about how people will react?" Hadrian didn't look the male in the eyes. Truth be told, Hadrian was still grasping at straws. Paa sighed softly and held Hadrian close. "It won't be put instantly into action, little flame. You'll have time to adjust. I promise," Paa said seriously.
"I will?" Hadrian asked weakly.
"Yes, but soon you'll want to move on and have your own adventures. All dragons must leave the nest at some point, little flame," Paa said calmly with a soft smile. Hadrian looked up at the draken and while he thought that his Paa's face was too scary looking for a smile, it soothed him to see it, regardless.
"Even fae dragons?" Hadrian asked softly.
"I'll have to study up on them a bit more before I give you that answer but yes, I think even fae dragons eventually leave their nest for another," Paa explained.
"H-How long can we hold off the courtship trials?" Hadrian asked weakly.
"We can hold it off for a couple of months, but I will have to alert the draken council and the fae council," Paa explained.
"C-Can we do that...extend it for as long as possible?" Hadrian asked.
"...I don't know why you are so scared about this, little flame, but I'll do it," Paa said seriously.
"Thank you Paa," Hadrian muttered, cuddling into his Paa's chest. Said male rumbled deeply, soothing Hadrian even more.
They walked into the dinning room and Hadrian was placed down in his seat. "Haddy!" Two voices called before hugging him, bringing a chuckle from Paa.
"Calm down, boys, he's fine," Paa said teasingly. "Just a bit of mixing creatures is all." Paa kissed Hadrian's head before moving to the kitchen.
"Keary, Jimmie, give him some breathing room!" the voice he recognised from before called out. Madeline if he remembered correctly. Harry looked over to see a female. With green-blue eyes, grey hair, and black cat ears.
"Shut up, Maddy! We know our triplet, alright!" Keary growled back.
"Do you know how hard it was to be away from him!" Jimmie hissed out.
"Guys," Hadrian weakly prodded.
"What are you, Haddy?" Jimmie asked, looking at him.
"F-Fae draken," Hadrian said softly as he looked at the two of them. Both were identical The only difference was one had their father's smoky grey eyes while the other had a dull green.
"Explains why your eyes are so bright green. Fae creatures have crystal-like colours. While drakens have dulled colours," Keary explained.
"I don't look horrible...do I?" Hadrian couldn't help but ask weakly.
"No!" Both Keary and Jimmie protested. It seemed to soothe whatever was building up in his chest.
Arms seemed to wrap around Hadrian and pulled him back to the chair. Even with his back against the chair, and no matter how much pressure he put on the chair, his back never hurt. "There is my little Fae."
Hadrian looked up to see another cat-like humanoid. His hair looked like it had been bleached but let the hair grow out. He also had cat-like ears and his eyes were icy blue. "Pere!" Jammie and Keary complained.
"Oh shush you two, you’re not the only ones that were worried, the elder cat sith scolded.
"P-Pere?" Hadrian questioned lightly.
"I was sent to see what you felt like for breakfast. Your Paa is in there fretting and getting on your father's nerves," Pere teased
Hadrian thought for a moment before speaking. "F-fruit?"
Pere smiled softly and kissed the side of Hadrian's head. "Alright, I'll go tell your mama that he needs another bowl." The male let go and walked off towards the kitchen. Hadrian could faintly hear them speaking. "Aurora, your little dragon fae wants his fruits."
"He wants fruits?!" Mama squeaked.
"Aurora, it's fine, fae dragons don't really eat meat, only the Dominants do, and that’s when they need to protect their submissives... So I expected Hadrian to want produce instead of meat," a voice said. Hadrian hadn't heard that voice yet.
"Haddy."
Hadrian looked up to see it was one of his sisters. It was...Oh, it was Laura. His sister who ended up being a kitsune. "Rah." She smiled softly at the nickname.
"How you feeling?" she asked worriedly.
"I am a bit tired... but I'm happy everyone is home," Hadrian cooed. Laura smiled as she cuddled into Hadrian. "I missed you all," Hadrian admitted. He didn't feel as lonely now. He didn't know where this feeling was coming from but it felt good to admit it out loud.
"We missed you, too. Everyone was worried about you," Laura admitted without hesitation.
"I'm okay," Hadrian said as he cuddled back into Laura.
"Well, that's good," Laura said with a smile. "What's the plan after breakfast?"
"Not sure... I know Paa is going to go talk to the draken and fae councils and try and hold off my courtship trials," Hadrian admitted.
"You were so excited for ours, why are you holding back yours?" Keary asked curiously.
"He's a Carrier like Mama is, you two. Do you know how high of a demand male carriers are? All of the submissives in our family are female. Hadrian is the rarity," Madeline said, inputting her thoughts into the conversation.
"So we need to gather up the dominants and protect Hadrian, then," Jimmie said seriously.
Madeline just sighed as she shook her head. "It means that Haddy needs some time to adjust and prepare himself mentally for all the attention he is going to be receiving. You thought these last two months were draining, Hadrian is going to receive ten no...a hundred times that attention."
"Please, no," Hadrian whined softly as he curled into Laura.
"I say we all cuddle up to Hadrian to help soothe him. We all missed him and he missed us. We don't have to cuddle...maybe just stay in the same room or something," Madeline suggested.
"Sounds good to me!" Laura cheered as she cuddled Hadrian more.
"Get back in your seats, everyone. Breakfast is being served," that same, unknown voice called out. Laura groaned before she got up and made her way back to her seat.
"Yes, Father," his siblings called out. So this Naga was his Father.
Hadrian watched as a male with the lower half of a snake slid into the dining room. Hadrian looked the male over and saw the almost neon-green eyes look at him. "I'm glad you are back with us, Hadrian." Hadrian blushed and smiled softly at the blonde-haired Naga.
"Coming through," a male with long, blonde hair and red eyes called out. Hadrian watched as two tails swayed behind him. Hadrian could have sworn one of the clusters of hairs flicked...Oh, wait no that was the male's ear. "Oh! Good morning, little cub. I see your Paa has completely forgotten to wash you up," the kitsune said in slight irritation.
"I'll clean him up, don't worry about that. Smaug probably wanted Hadrian to eat before we put everything away," the Naga male said calmly.
"Apophis, don't defend him," the kitsune protested with a whine.
"Stop being childish, Fang," Apophis lightly scolded as he placed plates down in front of the children.
"I'm coming, babies!" Hadrian perked up hearing his mama's voice. Watching his mama come in with seven bowls of fruit, Hadrian stood up but was pulled back down by Jimmie and Keary.
"Don't, you’re too weak to help Mama," Jimmie scolded.
"Besides, Mama has it," Keary grumbled.
Hadrian watched as bowl after bowl was placed down on the table with practiced ease. When the last two bowls were in his mama's hands, he walked over and placed one down in front of Hadrian. "There you go, my little one," his mama cooed.
"Thank you, mama," Hadrian couldn't help but purr.
"No problem, my little fairy flame," Mama cooed.
Hadrian ate his fruits as he observed his newly acquired family. His parents, all seven of them, were at the head of the table. His mama was sitting with his paa cuddled up to him lovingly. Popping a grape into his mouth, he slid his eyes to the side, to his eldest sibling, Madeline. From the memories he had, Madeline was mated. She had a draken dominant and an elven dominant. He couldn't for the life of him remember their names. But he did know that both of them worked at Hogwarts with the founders. Hadrian ate another grape as he looked at the next sibling. Kari looked exactly like Madeline did. But his mind supplied him that, of course, they were twins. The way he could tell who was who, though, was that Kari had a beauty mark right under the corner of her lips. His mind told him that she was also mated. But unlike Madeline, Kari only had one mate and it was a bugbear. Moving along, his eyes landed on the first dominant child, Jax. He was mated to a submissive elf if he remembered correctly.
"Where are your mates?" Hadrian couldn't help but ask softly.
"Oh, they are still at Hogwarts," Jax said, looking at Hadrian.
"And you're okay with that?" Hadrian couldn't help but ask.
"Yeah, your instincts are really flaring up, aren't they?" Jax said teasingly. Hadrian blushed embarrassed.
Hadrian tried to focus on looking at his other siblings. Next up was Ilene... She didn't look any different than a normal wizard...until she moved her White hair behind her ear. Ilene looked at him and smiled with a teasing look in her dull, grassy-green eyes. Hadrian could recall that the female was mated to a dominant elf. His eyes landed on his nestmates. Nestmates?... Oh, that was what his parents called it when a batch of children was born together. That was kind of cute, if Hadrian really thought about it. Looking at his nestmates, his mind supplied that Keary is courting a submissive cat sith and Jimmie is courting a submissive draken. The rest of his siblings weren't courting anyone yet. Hadrian's mind supplied that it was because everyone else was under the age of 16.
"Mama, since Hadrian presented, will he be coming with us to school when we go back?"
Hadrian looked up to see it had been Ilene who had asked. "No, my little flower. We need to work out Hadrian's wings to the point that he isn't in pain anymore. Then we have to plan his courtship trials," Mama explained.
Hadrian whined as he ate something close to a strawberry. "It won't be that bad, Haddy, I promise," Madeline tried to soothe Hadrian.
"Alright, what is the schedule?" Jax asked as he looked at his parents.
"I have to give our newly presented fae dragon a wash," Apophis said calmly before offering a bite to Aurora.
"While that is happening, I have to get in contact with the draken and fae councils and discuss a courtship trial date," Smaug said with a deep sigh.
"Once we find out the date, I would like to start planning it out for Hadrian. We will have to combine both fae and draken traditions," Aurora said with a worried tone.
"The older ones are free to help your mama and Hadrian plan it out, but if they ask for you all to leave them alone, you will. The younger ones can help me plan out the activities for the rest of the visitors," a male said. Hadrian looked at him and was surprised to see the grey-tinted skin with the black tribal markings all over him. The horns growing from the front of his head indicated towards demon or draken but the lack of wings confirmed that the male was in fact a demon. His memories told him that this was Papa.
"Then after that, you all can hang out and play while we get lunch ready," the male with pale skin and white hair said. The male was clearly elf. That was Daddy if his mind was correct. Hadrian vowed to himself that he would spend as much time as he could with them. Sure, he had the memories of them, but he wanted to make an actual connection.
Finishing his bowl, his father moved over to him and picked him up easily. "Come now, my little viper, let's get you washed," he said pleasantly. Hadrian couldn't help but pout as the naga moved into the hallway. Once they were away from everyone, Hadrian seemed to cuddle into the naga. "I know it's unpleasant, little Viper. You've gone from being coddled to being watched constantly," he said with a soft smile. "Shall we bathe in my tub?" the naga asked curiously.
Hadrian tried to think of what that was and all he got from his memories was a pool-like structure and positive emotions. "Please?"
The naga smiled as he nodded. "Of course, your paa and mama have been hogging you for two weeks now. Your pere and papa were plotting to steal you away if you didn't finish presenting soon," Father teased lightly.
"Sorry I took so long," Hadrian whimpered.
"None of that," the naga scolded lightly. "You couldn't control your presenting," he said calmly as he opened a door to a room that housed the pool-like bath. "I'll wash you up before we get into the water," the naga explained. Hadrian nodded as he was placed down and changed out of his clothes. Once out of the clothes, Hadrian was placed down on a stool. Before they could get started, though, the door opened slightly.
"Father, can we come in here, too?" Hadrian's mind supplied that it had been Gyles that had asked. Normally, when Gyles asked, it meant the rest of the Naga children. Hadrian didn't mind, to be honest.
"I have to focus on Hadrian right now, you four, but if you behave, you can come in," the naga said in a stern tone.
"Okay, Father," the four voices chirped as they came in.
"Father, can I watch? In case I am asked to help Haddy clean his wings?" the girl out of the four younger siblings asked.
"Hadrian? What do you think?" their father asked as he put Hadrian's hair up out of the way for now.
"I don't mind," Hadrian managed out.
"Don't forget to wash yourselves down before getting in the tub," their father reminded them all before motioning the girl over. "Come, Tashia, you can help me with the outsides, then, if you wish to learn." Tashia moved to where her father motioned. "His wings are highly sensitive right now because of his fae side, so what do we do for sensitive wings?"
"We put numbing magic over it?" Tashia questioned.
"We would for a draken’s wings, but we are dealing with fae draken wings. Their wings are a bit more fragile in the starting stages. We actually need to give them a rubdown while letting our magic wash over them. Like this, Tashia." Hadrian felt a washcloth over his wings. It was soft and gentle; he could barely tell it was there. So when he felt the magic flowing into his wings, he sighed contently. "Do you understand?"
"I think I get it... Haddy, can I try?" Tashia asked softly.
"If Father thinks it is a good idea, I don't mind my bath being long," Hadrian said with a smile over his shoulder at the younger child.
"Take it nice and slow," Father said, guiding her along. Hadrian was relaxed the whole time until something touched the lower part of his lower back. "Looks like the draken part didn't totally get merged with the fae in you, Hadrian, you have a tail growing."
"I-I do?" Hadrian asked weakly.
"Yes, and from the looks of it, it will be a slender tail. Well, compared to your brothers’, that is," the elder naga lightly teased.
Hadrian blushed but didn't comment. "How...How long until it's fully in?" Hadrian asked hesitantly.
"Hmm, I am unsure. Only time will tell. I do, however, suggest you eat your fill and not be ashamed to ask for more. All that food will go right into growing your tail," Father explained.
"Okay," Hadrian said with a nod. Before he knew it, they were done washing his wings and the nub that was his tail.
"All done, Haddy!" Tashia said proudly.
Hadrian smiled. "Thank you, Tashia, you did a wonderful job. I barely felt a thing," he praised.
"Let's get you rinsed off and into the bath to soak," Father said before carefully rinsing off Hadrian, Tashia, and himself. "Feel up to attempting to walk?" Father asked curiously as he looked at Hadrian.
"I can try," Hadrian said as he carefully stood up.
Swaying a bit, Father caught him and held onto a shoulder. "I am right here," Father said as he looked at Hadrian.
Back with Hadrian's paa, the Draken sighed as he threw the herbs into the fire and sat down, knowing this would be a long meeting. It didn't take long for the flame to flash and two connections were made. "Smaug, has the child awoken?" the elder draken asked.
"Yes, Hadrian is awake now, he's fully presented," Smaug said with a tired tone.
"Well! What has he presented as!" the fae woman demanded.
"Fae draken," Smaug answered immediately.
"What! The fae blood hasn't merged with anything in centuries!" the woman protested.
"Well, it is proven that the fae blood can be merged with dragon blood. Draken aren't so different," the elder draken rumbled. "His condition?"
"He is weak and hesitant like a newly hatched fae dragon. I think his growth will be the same," Smaug said as he looked at the draken elder.
"I see, he'll be a powerful submissive. We will have to have his courtship trials as soon as possible," The Draken elder said.
"He has actually requested to have the date be extended as far back as possible," Smaug said as he sat there.
"What? Does that foolish child know how he is asking?" the draken elder growled out.
"I think it's a good idea, actually. He is part fae and they take time to grow into their inheritance," The fae woman said calmly. "What does your mate think about this?"
"He agrees, we are in uncharted waters. There hasn't been a draken fae in a long time. His tail isn't fully grown in and his wings are painful for him to move," Smaug explained.
"Both of those issues should be cleared up within a month if he eats properly," the draken elder huffed out.
"What is the poor boy eating?" The fae woman asked.
"He ate fruits this morning," Smaug said, looking at the fae woman.
"A month is all I can give you," the draken elder said seriously.
"Sir! Please, at least give me three!" Smaug protested.
"A month!" the elder growled out his wings flaring.
Smaug sighed defeatedly.
"Smaug, he should be fine within a month," the fae woman tried cheering him up.
"Alright. A month, then," Smaug accepted weakly.
"All the clans?" the draken demanded to know.
"Yes, but I request that only the ones to be able to match my son are brought forward." Smaug looked up to see Aurora walk in. He offered his hand to his mate and guided him over to his lap.
"Why not give him the chance of more mates?" the draken council member asked curiously.
"Hadrian is a sweet boy, but if he has more than three mates, then the world will become overpopulated," Aurora said calmly.
"I highly doubt that," the draken council member scoffed.
"If you think The Luna Clan is bad, then you are sorely mistaken. Their 50+ children are nothing compared to what my son is willing to pump out," Aurora bit out.
"How can you be so sure of this, Aurora Peverell?" the draken growled.
"Because Lady Magic and Lord Death's seals appeared on my child! You rightly know that those two appearing at the same time means that that person is Lord Death's equal and opposite," Aurora bit out.
"If what you say is true... then he will need two mates regardless of how high their power levels are," the fae said worriedly.
"That's why I said three. I know he will need more than one... but do not force more onto him than he actually needs," Aurora said calmly.
"We shall alert the councils. It would be best to hurry and plan everything." Both flames went out and Smaug groaned.
"Darling?" Aurora asked softly.
"We have a month. He wouldn't let up on that...I think he plans on pushing his grandson onto Hadrian," Smaug growled out as he stood up with his mate in his arms.
"We also have to tell him about the markings and what they mean," Aurora said softly.
"I know, one issue at a time, alright?" Smaug said just as softly.
"He's going to be surrounded and pressured, Smau," Aurora sobbed softly.
"That's why I plan on pulling all the dominants and telling them we need to have at least three people with Hadrian at all times during this time and until he bonds with his chosen," Smaug growled out.
