spotted - chuck bass and nate archibald sharing ... a kiss ?
hey upper east siders, gossip girl here and i have the biggest news ever. one of my many sources, angel_100, sends us this : spotted in bart bass’ old office : chuck bass and nate archibald. guess we know why they were missing during countdown.
taking a glass of champagne from the tray carried by a passing cater waiter, nate took a sip of the drink and locked eyes with a certain bass. it was subtle, but nate knew what that look in chuck’s eyes meant and honestly, nate wouldn’t mind escaping the party for a bit.
the two snuck off to the less crowded halls and were able to meet in bart’s old office — nate wasn’t exactly sure what it was called since the older bass passed away. he watched as chuck shut the door before making his way back to him.
“been enjoying life lately, nathaniel? haven’t seen you around much.” chuck spoke, leaning against the desk. “i missed you too.” nate laughed quietly. “you sure this is okay?” he asked chuck, one of his hands cupping the other’s face, thumb gently caressing his cheek.
“we’ll be fine, nathaniel. no one’s here to watch.” the young bass reassured him. “no one comes in here. it’s kind of off limits.” he added on. the faint noises of the crowd counting down didn’t go unnoticed by the two, but they might have been a little too focused on each other to notice the door cracking open.
“you look nice, nathaniel.” chuck whispered, moving himself closer to nate. his hands moved to hold the athlete’s waist. “you look nice too, charles.” nate replied, leaning in closer to chuck’s face, pressing his lips against chuck’s own.
loud cheers were heard outside and there were a boatload of fireworks that could’ve been heard a whole continent away. but the two didn’t care. all they cared about was each other. they were together and they were sharing a new years kiss — their first new years kiss. and maybe they were so distracted that the sounds of faint typing or the door shutting didn’t bother them one bit.
