Mizi curled up to Sua, wrapping an arm around her wife. She kissed her cheek and rested, resting her head on Sua's shoulder. "Goodnight, honey. I love you so much~" Mizi mumbled sleepily, drifting off to sleep on her wife's shoulder. Sua smiled softly, wiping a bit of drool away from the corner of Mizi's mouth. She couldn't help but wonder what her beloved was dreaming about as she began to snore.
The smell of freshly made popcorn wafted through the house. Mizi smiled; that meant Mom had rented a movie for them to watch, a rare treat, meaning something went well at work that week. She quickly got out of bed, fumbling with the thick old quilt she had that was made by her grandmother. Mizi's little legs carried her down the hall, excitedly running towards the stairs. Narrowly avoiding the bucket catching the droplets from the leak in the ceiling, Mizi descended the stairs and ran up to her father, who was making the popcorn on the stove. He chuckled as Mizi's small frame wrapped around his leg.
"Hello, my precious treasure. Did someone smell the popcorn and come running?" Mizi's father smiled; he petted Mizi's head as she giggled, looking up at him with big round eyes. She smiled wide up at her father.
"I did! I did! Does that mean Mommy got us a movie?" Mizi beamed; she ran around the kitchen looking for the movie she had rented.
Mizi's father chuckled, taking the popcorn off the stove and depositing it into a bowl. "Yes, it does, honey. She got the one about the cat you've been wanting to see in fact." He ushered Mizi along to the living room as she circled him in excitement.
"Oh my yay! For realsies?!" Mizi began bouncing with excitement; she put her hands together and stared up at her father with excited, pleading eyes. "Can I invite my friend Till from, uh, next door over? Please! Please!!!" Mizi grinned, doing her best puppy dog eyes that she could manage.
Mizi's father seemed hesitant, but Mizi's mother entered the room and laughed. "I don't see why not, honey. Be fast, though; we don't want the popcorn to get cold!" Mizi's mother smiled; she walked over and kissed her husband on the cheek.
Mizi lit up with excitement and rushed out the door, hurrying down the steps, making sure her little legs didn't trip and fall down them. The screen door of the house was busted alongside the steps, but she was more than used to the dingy old home. Mizi rushed across the overgrown lawn, carefully squeezing under the worn-down chain-link fence to Till's yard, which was also overgrown. However, instead of tumbling into the familiar bushes, she found herself standing inside her high school hallway.
It took Mizi a second to regain her bearings, but almost on autopilot, the thought of visiting Till melted away as she set foot inside the classroom; she scanned the room and smiled. Mizi weaseled her way through the desks and sat down next to a girl with black hair. The girl boredly stared up at Mizi, her purple eyes once lifeless and dull, slowly lit up seeing the pink-haired girl looking back at her. "Is this seat taken?" Mizi smiled softly; she readjusted the book bag that sat on her shoulder. "No, not at all..." Sua mumbled in a trance-like manner, her hand unconsciously pulling the seat out for Mizi to sit beside her. Sua couldn't help but stare at the pink-haired angel that came down and blessed her that day. Mizi smiled, resting her head on the desk as she stared longingly at the girl beside her. "I'm Mizi, by the way, Mizi Yun!" Her green eyes locked with Sua's purple eyes. A faint blush crept onto Sua's cheeks as she shyly looked away. "Sua, Sua Kuznetsov." She couldn't help but steal another glance at Mizi, admiring how beautiful she looked with her pink hair and passionate green eyes. Sua watched as Mizi began to drift asleep at her desk. "Mizi must be overworking herself if she can fall asleep that easily," she thought to herself.
Mizi snapped awake at the sound of arguing, but she wasn't quite awake yet. She looked to see Till and Ivan fighting on the baseball field. Sua crossed her arms and rolled her eyes, turning away from the situation. Ivan was in his baseball uniform going on about how Till interrupted his practice, and Till was arguing about how Ivan ditched him for his baseball team. The fight started to get more and more heated; Ivan grabbed him by the collar, and Till bit down on Ivan's hand, in which Ivan threw him to the ground and started kicking him. "Hey, wait, stop that!" Mizi went to tackle Ivan off of Till, but she found herself back in the high school cafeteria sitting beside Sua. Mizi held her head; now this was getting confusing.
The cafeteria was blurred, but Mizi could make out Sua resting her head on her shoulder and could see Ivan and Till both reading notes. Mizi squinted, smiling softly seeing the two make eye contact and blush, nodding at the same time. She knew what this memory was now, a fond one at that. Forging their handwriting, Mizi set Ivan and Till up on a date, their first date, one that would later lead the two to a prosperous relationship. Before she could get lost in the nostalgia of her friends' blossoming relationship, Mizi felt the ground give way beneath herself as she plummeted into the depths below.
Mizi stumbled, tripping into Hyuna's chest, who pulled her into a hug and kissed her head. Mizi blushed faintly; a small smile crept onto her lips remembering how close she used to be with Hyuna in college. Hyuna laughed and spun Mizi in a sort of dance. She twirled a bit, trying to regain her footing; she stumbled, rolling across the stage of her college graduation. In the tumble, Mizi could see the art she had made for the school displayed and projected onto the screens; when she finally stopped rolling, the door to her wedding was the one to catch her. She slowly stood up, brushing the dust off her wedding dress. Mizi looked up and saw her father smiling at her; he offered a hand to his daughter. "For years, I've called you my precious treasure. Now it is time for me to share my treasure with someone else. She's waiting for you, dear." This memory, the most clear one for Mizi in the midst of the chaos from the previous ones, Mizi shakily accepted her father's hand as tears rolled down her face. The day of her wedding with her beloved Sua, the day her father gave her away. Mizi's father smiled brightly at his daughter as he pushed the door open; the music began as he walked his treasure down the aisle. The crowd smiled as the two walked down the aisle together; faces were blurred, and everything felt like a haze. Mizi blinked away the tears as the surrealness of it all hit her at once. Ivan and Till sat in the front row, beside her mother. Mizi smiled softly, seeing how happy the two looked for her. Then there was her precious mother crying tears of joy. When the two reached the stairs of the altar, Mizi's father kissed his daughter's hand. "Good luck, dear. I'm so proud of you," he murmured, before taking a seat in the front row alongside his wife. Mizi nodded, smiling brightly as she walked up the steps to meet Sua at the altar. The two locked eyes, Sua's once lifeless purple eyes now filled with a beautiful passion, and Mizi's passionate green eyes filled with love and endearment for her beloved. When the two went to kiss, Mizi stirred, waking up from the memory.
Sua lay beside Mizi, still snuggled against her wife, fingers loosely entangled in her hair. Mizi smiled softly seeing her beloved beside her; she planted a kiss onto her cheek. "I'll always be your treasure, dear." Mizi whispered before snuggling up to Sua, eyelids dropping as she fell back to sleep.
