They sat in the library watching you like a predator would its prey. They watched as you turned the pages in your potions book and as your tired eyes scanned every word thoughtfully. They watched when you stretched your arms over your head and as the top of your uniform rode up just enough for them to get a peek of your lower stomach.
They knew they looked like creeps but they didn’t care. Remus, Sirius, and James stopped caring about a lot of things once you came into their life. Sirius stopped going to quidditch practices on Thursdays because that’s when you guys studied together, Remus often forgot about his prefect duties while he was with you, and James forgot all about Lily Evans once he laid his eyes on you for the first time.
It was half-past ten when you finally looked up from your potions book to see Remus resting his head on his hands with his eyes closed, Sirius using a book about magical creatures as a pillow, and James resting his head on Remus’s shoulder. You quietly walked over to your boys and placed kisses on their foreheads which woke them.
“Now what are you doing in the library this late? And I know you three weren't studying,” you asked with one hand on your hip and an eyebrow cocked. You loved your boys but they could be annoying sometimes.
“We just wanted to make sure you were okay considering everything that’s going on with the so-called ‘Dark Lord’ roaming around the wizarding world,” Sirius explained. That’s not entirely a lie, they were just making sure you were safe but then they got tired and ended up asleep in the middle of the library.
“There is nothing to worry about Siri, Hogwarts is safe. No one is getting in or out anytime soon, I promise you that,” You replied. “Don’t make promises you can’t keep,” Remus whispered. “You’re right Rem, I shouldn’t have done that. I’ll go get my stuff and then we can head to our dorm so we can get some sleep. You know how Sirius is when he doesn’t get his full eight hours,” you added with a wink. “Hey!” Sirius shouted which earned him a glare from Madam Pince.
Once you collected your things you motioned for Remus, Sirius, and James to follow you. You walked out of the library with all of your boys right beside you.
