Nicole walked over to the centre of the village before sun set, where the rest of the Pack were gathered, some already shifted into there wolf, some wearing robes and some standing naked, unbothered by the cold. Nicole was naked and when she came up upon Waverly and Wynonna, standing near the forest’s edge.
Waverly wrapped in a fur cloak gave the Alpha a bright smile before Nicole and Wynonna Fist bumped in greeting.
“I’m glad you’re joining us, Nicole.” Waverly said to her before they all watched the East for the sun to disappear over the mountains. Waverly quickly shook off her cloak and tossed it onto a crate nearby before they all shifted and the Pack members all let out excited howl while Nicole stayed silent.
Nicole couldnt communicate with the Angel Pack members in wolf form but Waverly’s golden wolf nipped playfully at Rua’s shoulder and play bowed when they had moved deeper into the trees and the Red wolf play bowed back before they began to chase each other around and their friends joined in.
They didn’t need to worry about Pack security tonight. With every pack member running around the Pack lands no Rogue would dare be here and it was time for their wolves to be free to be wild. They spend quite some time playing and this was the first time in many years since the Alpha or her wolf had let loose and they enjoyed themselves.
Julian and Michelle joined them at one point and they decided to hunt something down. Nicole didnt follow them as Rua wasn’t hungry and the Red wolf quietly slipped away to leave the others to their fun.
Instead the wolf trotted through the trees until they got the lake she had been to the day before. The red wolf sat on the shore and raised her head to stare up at the Moon and they began to plead with the Goddess to give her clear signs so she could find the right path quickly as tomorrow morning she would leave the pack.
‘What do you think is going to happen?’ Rua asked as they gazed up at the moon which was glowing brightly over head.
‘I don’t know.’ The human said in their mind but Rua’s head swivelled around quickly when the sweet scent of Apple and Cinnamon caught their nose. Waverly’s pretty, golden wolf was standing at the tree line and watching her intensely with her rich, hazel eyes; beautiful both in human and wolf form .
The giant, red wolf stood and turned to face the smaller, curious. Both wolves took a few steps towards each other before Rua’s interest was increased when the golden wolf came along side her to rubber the length of her body off the Alpha’s.
‘Angel?’ Waverly yelped in her wolf’s mind, shocked by what her wolf was doing. ‘what are you playing at?’ the animal ignored her as she continued to press herself against Nicole’s wolf before standing in front of her and presented herself to the Red Wolf with clear intention, holding her tail aloft and to the side . ‘Angel!’
Angel ignored her. She had had to endure Champ atop them for years and she knew that they both wanted this Alpha.
‘Rua, don’t you dare!’ Nicole growled when she got over the surprise turn of events because her wolf’s stance had changed as she could scent the arousal from the golden wolf. The human had no control over Rua tonight but that didn’t mean she was going to stay silent.
Rua ignored her as she circled the smaller wolf who had her tail cocked to the side.
‘Rua!’ Nicole barked as the wolves subtly danced around each other. It was more than obvious where this was heading and it was surprising that Waverly’s wolf had made the first move. Nicole knew Rua liked the golden animal but the wolf had never been with another and they were leaving the next day. Nicole growled when the red wolf blocked her out and all she could do was come along for ride.
‘Angel!’ Waverly hissed as the red wolf got into the position behind her. Angel had never let Champ’s wolf anywhere near her much to the male Alpha’s annoyance.
‘Waverly, you and I both know we want this Alpha. She wants us.’ The wolf purred as the Alpha hovered, waiting for another sign of consent from the smaller wolf. ‘Be honest with yourself.’
Waverly huffed before her mind went to the Nicole in her human form, her rich brown eyes, her soft, small smiles that showed off the barest hint of her dimples, those plump pink lips, her pale, flawless skin, her long, lean, well muscled body and the image of the Nicole soon morphed into imagining the redhead deep inside her.

‘If that was true why didn’t we know that sooner? We have been here 4 months. Don’t confuse desire with mating.’ The human replied but she couldnt deny she didn’t blame the wolf for her wishful thinking. Nicole turned to look at Waverly who was looking at her.
“I... I’m leaving within the hour.” Nicole said awkwardly, unsure what else to say. Waverly lowered her eyes and nodded.
“I know...” she sighed. The omega felt a strong urge to ask the Alpha to stay longer but she knew it was no use. The Alpha had her own destiny to see to and now she would have no regrets when the Alpha left. “You better go and get ready. My father will want to see you before you go maybe wash....” the omega suggested and after a moment they both laughed and Nicole gave a resigned nod.
She stood and reached down a hand to help the omega to her feet and when Waverly didn’t let go of her hand when she was standing they were so close that neither of them could resist one last kiss. “Goodbye, Omega.” She said and the smaller woman gave her a sad smile.
“Stay safe, Alpha.”
Nicole shifted to her wolf who bowed her head to the omega before they ran back to the village, both of them replaying the night’s events.
When she got back to her cottage she boiled some water and pulled her soap out of her pack before she reluctantly scrubbed herself of the omega’s scent and dressed in the clothes she had left on her bed for this morning.
When she was ready she looked around the cottage one last time and sighed -She would miss this place- before she walked out.
Much to her surprise she found most of the Pack gathered in the village centre waiting for her. Julian and Michelle were at the front of the group with Isa.
“The Pack wanted to say farewell.” Julian told her as they gripped each others forearms. Nicole felt choked up as she looked around at the smiling faces. Wynonna walked forward and pulled her into an Awkward hug.
“Dont be a stranger, Haught Damn.” The beta woman said thickly before Nicole promised she would be back someday.
“We have a gift for you, Alpha Haught.” Michelle said to Nicole as she made a hand signal and one of the stable hands came around the Pack house with Firefly.
“I cannot accept this, Omega Charles, you have already been kinder than I deserve.” Nicole protested but Michelle waved her off.
“You should not travel as a Rogue. You are Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. We have also filled his saddle bags with some supplies. I hope we will see you again some day.” The Pack Omega said sincerely.
When Nicole had said her goodbyes to her friends she glanced around one last time and was disappointed not to see Waverly but she had to leave. She thanked Julian again and mounted Firefly.
When she was up on the horse she moved throw the crowd who had parted for her to pass and as she reached the edge of the village Waverly appeared between the trees and blew her a kiss before waving at her. Nicole gave her a soft smile and winked before she clicked her tongue to urge Firefly into a trot towards the Safe Road
