Chapter 8

Legolas could not deny that the other's words made him curious, immensely, as well as incredibly worried. Beyond worried if he was honest to himself. If the youngest was correct, they had some things that they would legitimately need to worry about. Someone watching them? Waiting? For what? What would they be waiting for? And was it something that they should really worry about? Or something that they should just let go? Then again, he supposed the best thing that they could do was be cautious. There was not much else that they would be able to do at this point, barring just keeping a cloase and attentive eye out.

Furthermore, how was it that the other had managed to get this feeling? Or was it simply because he was being paranoid. For some reason, Legolas was hesitant to simply blow off what the other had said as just the paranoid workings of a young child. He was not sure why, perhaps it was the way that the boy seemed to be so much more underneath the surface that he was showing. Perhaps it was because he was worried the other was right, and he did not wish to admit such things. One thing was certain, he was actually quite concerned that the other had something to go off of. Because of this he really wanted to check into what the other was feeling.
Legolas looked over the where the youngest was sitting alone, staring into the distance. He sighed heavily once more, he would go and ask more about this.

"Draco," Legolas said softly, approaching the other quietly. The other did not even stir, not a muscle moved, but he acknowledged him gently.

"You wish to know more about my feeling of us being watched?" He asked, voice soft, and melodious. Legolas affirmed Draco's guess, somewhat surprised the other had managed to guess the first try. "I cannot explain it further." The other said, glancing down from the rock that he was standing atop of to Legolas. Legolas managed to get a glimpse of the other's bright blue eyes, almost a clear, they were so light, but still beautiful. The sun shone upon his head, lighting his hair like a wreath. It was a lovely sight, to be sure.

"Could you perhaps try, at the very least?" Legolas requested softly, not wanting to push too much.

"I suppose, that I would be capable of trying, but, whether you are fully capable of grasping what I say would be something different." The other sat down, on the boulder, getting comfortable, before turning to face the Prince. "Your Highness, I do not really understand how to describe this feeling, as it is a bit different from all feelings that I have felt before, though some come similar." He swallowed, glancing up towards the distance once more. "I feel as though something dangerous is coming. Something that we cannot see, something that will creep up on us without us realizing it, and in the worst possible time. A shock, something that will either break us, or bring us together. I do not know what this feeling means, and nor can I try to explain something further. All I can say is that it is going to be something tragic, something dark, a sort of evil that we will not be able to see until it is too late. A tragic something." Draco sighed heavily. "I do not know how else to explain it. Do you understand what it is I am attempting to explain?" Legolas hummed curiously. Though the boy was rather...rambling a bit...he did understand what he was attempting to get across. It was something that definitely had some concern to it.

"Yes, I do." Legolas sighed, glancing at Aragorn as he said this, his words directed at the boy even as he did so. "This is rather concerning."

"I know," Draco said simply, as though he had expected something like this. As though things being concerning were normal to him. Draco looked at Legolas, glanced at Aragorn. "Tell him if you wish. I do not mind." He said simply, shrugging his shoulders a bit. Legolas turned to look a the other, and inquisitive look on his face. Draco laughed a bit. "Please, Your Highness, I am not blind. You two are close friends. I would not ask you to keep something from him." He smiled lightly to the other. "Sometimes it is best to have even one true friend, even with the worry that comes with it." He said softly. "Tell him, before you regret not doing so. And you will regret it." Legolas looked at Draco with a slightly interested gaze.

"Are you certain?" Aragorn asked, looked at the only one whom was an enigma among the group. "How are you certain of his words, or that he is even telling the truth."

"I could tell, Aragorn." Legolas breathed heavily. "I do not understand why it is he is feeling this, but I certainly understand the feeling. We need to be careful, moving forwards."

"Even more so now." Aragorn did not like the fact that the youngest of them was having weird feelings. While he was not certain that he believed the other, he was not stupid enough to deny that whatever reason that he is having these feelings of wariness, and darkness, were not for a good reason. If they were, indeed, for a good reason, if these feelings had any sort of merit. they had to be more than careful. They were heading towards the snowy mountain tops anyways. It was important they they keep their wits about them.

"If they are they are moving fast..." Aragorn glanced up, after quickly jerking back into the conversation that the others were having around him. Ripping himself out of his thoughts his eyes widened. "And against the wind." Turning he yelled...."HIIIDDDEE"

Everyone scrambled underneath rocks, in bushes, hiding as best they could given the terrain, Legolas had snatched Draco, and dragged him underneath a rocky crevice. The boy went willingly, not resisting in the slightest, allowing the other to drag him wherever he pleased.
Aragorn watched, tense, as the watch eye of Isengard flew over them.
Okay.

Perhaps the boy's feelings had merit.
