Back at Camp-Half Blood as Chiron just finished talking to Reyna, he gathered the heads of each cabin to the Big house saying that he has something to discuss with them. As all of them arrived, Chiron began telling them about the prophecy that Rachel gave in Camp Jupiter. Groans can be heard from each camper, it hasn’t even been a few months since the war with Gaea but here they are now, listening to another prophecy that could get them killed.
Their minds instantly go to the members of the seven, thinking on what their reaction was going to be. The idea of them going to another quest seem to linger in their minds, they did go through a lot during the war. Being the ones who crossed the Mediterranean and fought off giants to stop the apocalypse, they aren’t sure that they’re ready for another death trip.
As Chiron finished talking, he eyed the present campers. Some of them having mixed expression. “If this new prophecy is at Scotland, then how are we going to travel there.” Nyssa, Current Head councilor of the Hephaestus Cabin asked. “Not to mention on how many of us would be going to this quest.” It was rare for her to be vocal about quest like this but since Leo Valdez ‘died’ while stopping Gaea, she doesn’t want to have another major loss.
“to the people who will join this quest, I will discuss this with Preator Reyna. And to the means of transportation, I will have to discuss this with an old ‘friend’.” Chiron stated, he then turned towards the door and left the head councilors to discuss.
As his words trailed off the demigods present began to discuss the recent news. Complains and suggestion were thrown out. “Any ideas on who Chiron’s mystery friend is?” asked Travis Stoll, Head Councilor of Cabin 11, eyeing the other councilors at their chairs. “I mean my guess would be that they’re also a demigod considering Chiron had taught hundreds of us by now.”
“well I don’t know about you guys but I’ll just be at my cabin sleeping.” Clovis, Head of Hypnos Cabin said, dragging himself to go out.
“oh no you don’t buddy, the meeting isn’t done yet.” Travis said. There were currently a few campers present at camp as most of them aren’t year rounders. “we still need to discuss the folks who are going to come in this quest, I mean Percy and the others are surly needed in this quest.”
Percy and the other members of the seven were not currently at camp, as both he and Annabeth are finishing their high school so they can move to new Rome. While Piper and Jason are at Los Angeles, where Tristan Mclean now lives. Frank and Hazel are currently at Camp, the former being the new Preator. Both of them were there when the Prophecy was recited, which gives the possibility of them joining the quest.
Meanwhile at the Underworld
“Thanatos! Any news regarding the missing soul?” a shout could be heard from within the palace. A dark figure emerges from the open window, wings spread wide as they enter the room.
“ I have manage to track down the soul Lord Hades, but it is within a domain that I can not engage in.” Thanatos answered as he came face to face with Hades on his throne. The god of the underworld grimace at the statement. “It was difficult to find out where this soul was hidden for it was cloaked with multiple layers of magic.” The God continued.
“This domain that you speak of, who’s is it?” Hades asked.
“Hecate’s” The god of Death answered. He could see hades furrowing his brows as the name left his mouth. Remembering about the deal that they gave Hecate centuries ago, giving the Goddess lands on each continent to preserve her gift of Magic.
