Third Person POV

Today had been just like any other day, well, other than the fact he planned to go out as a vigilante today,

He had tried to come up with a good name for himself, but failed miserably; he did NOT want to go by Deku, for one it was obvious to those who know him who that might be, and two, who in the world wants to be called a name that someone has tormented you with for nearly your whole second life?

Not him, at least,

He thought about the people who he will save, coming up with his name, but then he remembered all the degrading names the media gave vigilantes and how bad they were at picking original names; I remember once there was a vigilante called thunder thighs, just because she had an amazing kick, but we all knew that there was something fishy going on with the name.

So he scraped the idea of them coming up with a name for him; he didn't want to be mistaken for a girl either with the name they chose; that wouldn't do any good for his gender dysphoria,

So he decided to quickly come up with a name while getting ready,

There are three major rules to coming up with a vigilante name (without pointing out the obvious):

1) Do not pick something that can link you to your civilian identity, most vigilantes don't care, but for me who wants to at least try out for UA then it's a must.

2) Don't pick something too bland but don't pick something too complicated; you want something memorable but not too hard to remember,

And finally 3) Pick something that reminds people of you, it might be something physical about you or how you act; it doesn't really matter as long as it is related to your vigilante persona, not your civilian identity.

Those are the main ones, of course, there are others but I won't go into too much more detail,

Anyway, it's about time he starts changing into his vigilante outfit.

Izuku's POV

The outfit I was holding felt light in my hands, which was a good sign.

I had gotten most of the materials from the store down the road from my apartment.

I had noticed their lightweight properties, but it showed itself to be very fragile, but that was nothing a bit of magic couldn't fix.

I had sewed the materials together using a durable thread that I had found in my mother's room while she was off at work.

I had been lucky enough to have been taught by Hermione and Luna how to sew in my past life,

After I was done sewing my vigilante costume together, I thought the best idea was to find something to protect myself with if my magic failed or if I got hit,

So I thought for a second before coming to the conclusion that going to Dagobah beach was the best idea, it wasn't like I had enough money to go to a shop again, I had spent most of my money on the materials, which in experience, I could tell it was quite cheap,

Once I had reached the beach I went pile to pile looking for the best scraps I could find, the best that would serve me well,

And luckily I had found a (semi) bulletproof vest which seemed to be quite big on me, but I could tailor it to my size somehow.

I also found some throwing knives which seemed a bit rusty, but I could manage, I don't know why someone would throw something like this away here but who cares? Not me, it helps me actually.

And the final thing that seemed to have a good usage for my vigilante work was a flip phone; sure it was banged up a little but nothing I couldn't fix.

But back to right now, I was getting ready for my first-ever patrol, which to be fair, was a little nerve-racking,

Once I had gotten everything on, I went to check in the bathroom mirror to see how it looked,

As I walked into the bathroom to see a large mirror showing my new (and amazing!) vigilante outfit.

My shirt was lose fitting and black, same goes for my trousers, I had them fitted in all the right places so it wouldn't get in the way if it came down to fighting with my hands and legs,

Underneath it, you could see the dark blue bulletproof vest, but only slightly,

I had a navy blue hoodie on that covered my hair, I felt that if someone noticed my hair it would be easily recognisable on me along with my short stature,

And along with that, I wore a black face mask, it doesn't protect me from anything other than people realising it's me,

I had multiple pouches that contained knives and a first-aid kit,

The shoes that I now wore were dark blue, these dark colours were purposely picked out because I wanted to be as unnoticeable as possible, but I wasn't overly confident in the colours, so I cast a disillusionment charm on myself to hopefully cover my noticeability,

But now that I have found myself happy with how I look, I should really get going; crime stops for no one, as they say!

And at that, I hopped out my bedroom window, climbing up the fire exit ladders,

As I finally found myself on the roof of my neighbour's building, I started jumping to roof to roof, sometimes landing poorly, but could you blame me? This is the first time out as a vigilante, so who wouldn't be a bit nervous?

And as a went further and further away from my apartment, the freer I felt, and as soon as I had reached the middle of the town, I began looking for crime,

I heard a quiet scream, but luckily I could still hear it, as I got closer, I noticed it was a man pinning a girl up against a wall in an alleyway,

I quietly jumped down and before the man even knew I was there, he was out like a light bulb,

I quickly checked if the girl had been hurt and if they were alright, and once I did, I was off, but before I could do so the girl asked a question,

"My hero! What is your name?" She asked,

After I pondered the name for a while, I thought this was most fitting seeing how I seem to never die,

"Horcrux"
