“Professor Plum, in the—” James paused, looking at Lily for a moment “—library, with a—candlestick?” The last word came out as a question rather than a statement, but Lily beamed at him anyway.
“Merlin, how?” Remus said in confusion. “I don’t even think it’s possible to win Cluedo this early in a game.”
“I still don’t understand this game.” Sirius threw his cards down.
Peter revealed exactly those cards in the little envelope. James beamed. Sirius accused.
“Cheater! You’re a dirty cheater”
Lily leaned forward and kissed James, smiling into it. The others roared behind them. “Not cheating. Teamwork.”
