Lily watched James celebrate with the team and his friends from a short distance away. The Quidditch Cup was finally theirs, all thanks to a bespectacled quidditch captain.
His eyes found hers, locked on through the crowd, and a smile reserved just for her spread across his face.
Congratulations. She mouthed the word, watching his eyes drop to her lips to read it there.
Thanks. His lips curled around the word, and she thought of other shapes that his lips could be. Party?
She nodded, and his smile grew brighter, just for her.
