"You're in my seat, Potter."
James looked up at her with a small smile. "Sorry about that, Evans." He nodded to her friends before crossing the Transfiguration room to his seat by Sirius.
"What was that about?" Lily asked Mary as she took her seat.
"You, actually." Lily looked at Mary in shock. "He had questions about what sort of things you like."
"Well, he better try harder than that if he wants to win me over."
"I think it's cute," Emmaline said.
Lily rolled her eyes, but couldn't stop the thought that she did too.
