• Hope and Josie are secret agents with a past. Hope had to move away but her a Josie ended on good terms. 3 years later, josie has a new girlfriend (finch). They are at the mall. Hope shows up and josie runs up to her. They do a spinning hug. “Jo, we have a problem. It’s your mom and dad. Come on the rest of the Super Squad and your uncle are on their way.” “Ok. Let’s go”. Finch goes to follow them but they disappear. Like the protocol, the Super Squad goes off the grid. Finch tries to find Josie but she’s a ghost. Meanwhile, hope and Josie can’t help but fall back in love

• Cami is the therapist for those who need it. She knows how to fight but doesn’t go on missions
• Klaus and Hayley aren’t married but love each other
• Freya and keelin are planning for a kid soon. So they will be retiring.
• Kol and davina are happily married. They don’t plan to leave the organization for a while. Same with Marcel and Rebekah, Elijah and Hayley, Klaus and Cami
• Finn and Henrik had died on a mission when Hope was about 1
• Mikael and Ester are good parents and created the organization to protect their children and make a difference
• They are all rich and businessmen to hide what they do. They worked hard for their money and give it back to the agents (more like it goes into the agency funds)
• The Mikaelson’s are the golden family everywhere they go
• The business meetings are real ways to expand their business partnerships but also just cover ups for their nighttime job
• Business is the “Always and Forever Foundation” where they fund small business and help them off their feet. They do get a quarter of the revenue, so they can help pay for other businesses (and the agency)

• Caroline and Stefan are also a secret agent and were working on a case against the Kirby family
• Was supposed to be their last mission before retiring.
• Damon and Elena retired after having Stephanie.
• Stephanie is about 16. She knows about her parents being  agents and was trained to fight.
• Elena is a nurse and will help cover an agents track if they come in
• Damon will come out of retirement to help rescue Caroline and Stefan

• Seylah, Landon, Clark, Malivore
• family of drug lords who also partake in human trafficking
• One of the biggest problems

• Hope, Josie, MG, Lizzie, Cleo, Kaleb, Jed, Penelope, Raphael
• All of the Super Squad’s families are part of the agency and have been childhood best friends for ever. Some are closer than others but they are all extremely close. They stayed in contact with each other after they got split up for different missions.
• Hope and the twins are close. At 13, Penelope and Josie had a brief romance for a few months but they both realized it’s wasn’t working. They ended on good terms and Penelope encouraged Hosie
• Hope and raf are like brother and sister. Especially after raf’s parents died on a mission when he was 13
• Hope and Penelope are close too. Penelope is Hope’s best friend and knows her better than anyone (except Josie bc she is whipped)
• Lizzie and MG are together and have been since they were 17 (which at the start of the book would be 4 years)
• Kaleb and Jed are oblivious gays
• Hosie started dating when they were 15 but when they all got sent on different missions, they decided to break it off.
• Started training at the same time and will finish training at the same time
• Did get split up. They are allowed to live normal lives as long as it doesn’t interfere with work
• They had established a meeting place if they ever had to meet for an important mission (Lockwood cellar, which is abandoned)
• They are all 21
• Organization (Always and Forever Agency):
• The training house is in Mystic falls. It’s underground so no one can see it
• When an agent starts a family, they can choose to leave or stay. If they leave they will still have some protection and will keep a gun with them at all times. If they stay, they will live in a highly remote and protected house (the training warehouse)
• Training starts at 7 but not hardcore. (Just the basic self defense) The hardcore training starts at 13 (learning to fight with other people, shoot guns, use swords, anything that will help them on the field)
• After they turn 18 and finish training, they move out of the training warehouse (where they grew up) and are sent on different missions
• Kids do have an education because you have to be physically and mentally strong. They have to be able to solve problems. They also have to get a job when they aren’t working, so they seem normal
• All of the adults are in the 40-55 range
• After you hit 45 years old, you have to have a health and mental checks a few times a month
• Any retired agent usually still helps by gathering intel and will ask around
• They have connections to non agents who will help them
• Alaric and Josette help occasionally
• Alaric is a teacher, so if someone needs help, he’s the guy. He unsuspecting and harmless so no one would assume anything. Usually will gather intel for the agents. He is a common man so he gets to see their perspective and reports back to the agency
• Josette is a doctor. So if one of the agents come in, she’ll treat them and protect them from people asking too many questions
• Tyler Lockwood allows the Super Squad to use his cellar whenever they need it but stays uninvolved
• Jeremy gathers intel. He knows his sister was an agent bc of Damon but he decided not to join. He is a cop (the boss/captain) and will cover the agents track and makes sure the cops stay away from them. He monitors the city so he knows what goes on
