Grindledore
Amaris was fucking livid.
Once the feast had finished and students began trickling to their respective common rooms, Amaris found herself trailing behind an angry and disbelieving Harry as he trudged the way up to Dumbledores office.
Their journey had been in complete silence, bar a few scoffs Harry made, no doubt he was deep in thought.
Amaris was a Slytherin, and she was quite content with that. She would have liked to be placed in Gryffindor, so she had more of a chance to bond with Harry, but she knew them being in different houses wasn't the end of the world.
Though Harry didn't seem to share the same sentiment, and this pissed Amaris off greatly.
He didn't even know her, he had no right to judge her based on her robe colour for fucks sake.
And after Dumbledore calmly confirmed Amariss identity as Harry's twin sister, It only seemed to make the situation worse.
"She- she can't be my sister!"
Claimed Harry, as he gripped the edge of his hair in the headmasters office.
Dumbledore placed his hands together on his desk, not a hint of mirth in his icy blue eyes. "My child, you must accept this truth."
"But professor! she's a Slytherin!"
Amaris rolled her eyes and stood from the comfy red cushioned armchair she had been sitting in.
"I would appreciate it if you both would stop talking about me as if I am not here."
She looked at Harry,
"I'm your sister, I'm a Slytherin. Deal with it" she said smoothly, her face schooled into a neutral expression that so differentiated from the hurt she was feeling inside at her brothers rejection.
She felt a probe on her natural occlumancy barriers, a cold pressing on her mind. She turned in Dumbledores direction and met his scrutinising gaze. She decided this was a perfect opportunity to gain some blackmail on the man for later.
She dropped her occlumancy shields a tiny amount, just enough so that Dumbledore could feel her defences weaken and she could use it as a Distraction. In the split second Dumbledore thought he had broken into her mind, she violently pushed her magic back against him, breaking his own occlumancy shields with little resistance.
His memories flooded her head like a tidal wave, and she diligently sought through them until she found something worth knowing, something that would make the Great Albus Dumbledore fall from his golden podium the wizarding world had placed him upon.
She stopped on a certain few memories, Watching as they rapidly played within her mind with great amusement.
Dumbledore was young, and getting rather handys with a certain white haired Dark Lord.
The information she had just required would become very, very fun to expose.
And with that, Amaris drew from his memories and focused her attention back upon the now completely mortified Headmaster.
He knew what she had just done, what she had just saw, and there was no doubt about it.
She smirked as she saw his fists balled up and shaking in absolute rage, them still on top of the desk. Yet making no move to speak, not having the words to say in the moment.
Harry just stood completely bewildered, having no idea what was going on between the two people infront of him
A moment passed as Amaris soaked in the expression on the old goats face.
"Goodnight, sir" Amaris chirped to Dumbledore before spinning on her heels and practically skipping out of his ornate office leaving both males in tense silence.

It had taken Amaris Potter-Black nearly an hour to find her way to the Slytherin common rooms. She resorted to asking some of the portraits the directions and after a lot of walking, she finally found her way.
Being Lady Slytherin, the goblins had informed her that she owned her very own quarters just passed the other Slytherin dorms.
She had popped her head into the second year dorms, and found her trunk was not there. So she figured the only other place they could be would be the Slytherin quarters, though she was reluctant to stay there in the first place. She didn't want anyone knowing about her status, at least not until the time is right.
But nevertheless, her trunk had been taken to the quarters so it looked like she had no other choice.
Tonight was the night she was going to finally talk to the diary, as she knew she would have no other time through the week to do so. So she guessed that being alone in her room might not be the worst situation.
The Quarters opened by pressing the tip of ones wand into a snake shaped lock that hung on the dungeon wall, just a few metres from the seventh year dormitories. Somehow the lock knew wether the owner of the wand was the Lord or lady and either let them inside the quarters, or sends a stinging hex up the persons wand and into their arm. Amaris wasn't sure what type of magic it used to work, but she thought it was quite cool. She was surprised it wasn't just A parseltongue password.
If you walked in a forest at first light, if you let the awakening green hues into your soul, that would be the sense that was her new bedroom. There was a calmness, a serenity, a feeling of optimism that came with the way the emerald lights from the underwater window danced upon the stone walls.
In the very far right corner of the room Stood an ornate bookcase, as if carved by a person with a profound love of literature. The engravings were of leaves and snakes - so sublime as to invite the fingers to take it in just as much as the eyes.
Amaris looked over the books that sat upon the shelves, they were mostly books she had never heard of. Books on the dark arts, books on parsel magic. She turned on her mage sight and swept her eyes over its entirety, checking for any... unwanted magical signatures upon any of the books. They were all normal, thank Norns. She could not be bothered to deal with another evil book.
She padded her way across the stone floor and pulled her trunk up upon the magnificent four poster bed. Emails green drapes hung above the dark oak and white linen sheets, creating the image of tall trees thats fabric swayed in the draft overhead.
Amaris unzipped the trunk and began to unpack. She placed her robes in the large wooden wardrobe that stood on the wall just next to the bookcase, and placed her school books onto said bookcase.
She finished putting away everything else, placing fresh toiletries in the elegant Ensuite that connected to her bedroom via an arched doorway opposite the window.
She sat back on her bed, singing contently as she looked around her new home. She liked it, it felt a little empty at the moment, but she was sure it was just the deficit of personal touches that made it feel that way. She opened the compartment in her trunk she had yet touched, and slid two diary's out. Her diary, and Tom riddles.
Now was the only free time she was have left until the next weekend, and she didn't want to wait that long to get shit started.
So, she grabbed her own diary to update her plans

“Okay, inspect the diary and speak to Tommy boy, shouldn't be to too hard" she muttered to herself, going over her notes.
She shut her diary and picked up toms.
Back magic swirled around the book, it’s tentacles latching around Amariss wrists as she held to book in her hand.
She sucked in a deep breath, opened the diary, and wrote a quick hello.
"Hiya "
The ink disappeared, just as she knew it would, only to be replaced by elegant handwriting that made her own look like chicken scratch.
"Hello"
Amaris let out her held breath, musing how anticlimactic that had been. She didn't know why she had been expecting something drastic to happen, she had seen ginny writing in the diary and knew what it did after all.
She wrote “A diary with consciousness, interesting"
Ink swirled across the paper as if Riddle couldn't figure out what to say. Eventually, the mess of black smudges formed a sentence.
"Indeed. If I may ask, Who are you?"
"Amaris Potter-Black, and you are Mr Tom Riddle I presume "
Tom was pleased, after years upon years of haunting the memories of hogwarts halls he finally had entertainment. Though naive little girls may not be the most interesting things, it was new and it would be easy enough for him to lure her in, use her to regain her body.
"Your presumptions are correct, darling. And how, Miss potter-black, did you come across my diary?"
"I may have stole it from the malfoys."
He had not been expecting that.
"You stole my diary from the Malfoys?"
"Yes. It was a very interesting venture"
"I'm sure it was, but do tell why you would do such a thing to begin with"
Amaris smirked as she wrote "My main reason is to assist you in releasing the basilisk into the school, of course"
Tom was perplexed. How in salazars name would she know about that?
Tom was perplexed. How in salazars name would she know about that? He had given his diary to Abraxas for that reason, sure, but he had told them to make sure the dairy was only to fall into an unknowing victims hands, no one else. The malfoys had failed, and as soon as he gained a body he would give them their punishment. THis current predicament could cause his entire plan to defect. He decided to play dumb.
"I planned for no such thing, Miss potter-black."
"You planned to open the Chamber just as you did 50 years ago. I am no fool"
Blotches of ink formed the page as illegible sentences wrote and erased rapidly. Amaris figured she had hit a nerve
Eventually,
"How do you know?"
Was written messily across the paper.
Amaris remembered the part of her vision where she had saw Harry being sucked into the diary, and wondered if she could do the same thing to talk with Tom face to face.
"I think it would be easier to answer that question face to face, Mr riddle."
A few minutes passed and Amaris had received no answer, when suddenly the yellow tinted pages of the book started flipping open at. A taste past. Amaris leant away from the diary, but it was futile as a yellow-white glow emitted from the diary.
The next thing Amaris knew, she was being sucked into the pages of the book, her auburn hair whipping around her as she fell through.
She landed with a soft thump to find herself standing in the green luminescence of the Slytherin common room.
She stroked the strands of her long hair out of her face and glanced around. It seemed different to what she had witnessed for the first time earlier that day, some of the furniture having changed and a few potty from her time not being there.
The strangest thing about it though, was the fact it was almost empty.
Only one other was in the large room. A handsome boy with wavy chocolate locks neatly brushed into a style reminiscent of the 40s. He looked different to how she had remembered him from the night he killed her parents, but She knew who it was instantly.
Amaris took a few tentative steps in his direction. He was sitting on a black leather sofa, reading a book Amaris saw to be the muggle book Romeo and Juliet.
His eyes flickered up to her, scanning her features with apprehension. his face was void of emotion but his eyes screaming in caution.
She stared directly at him. This was the man that murdered her parents, the man that killed thousands of innocents. But here he was, reading a muggle love story, such a strange thing for a supposed muggle-hating psychopathic dark lord to do.
She stopped a few steps away from him and smirked lightly
"Hello, Tom riddle"
