Dumb Blondes
Amaris had been ou to the same forest clearing every night to practice her magic for the past few weeks. She was improving fast. At first using her magic had exhausted her, but she was rapidly gaining resistance. Magic was like a muscle, the more you use it the stronger and easier it gets.
She had definite plan on how to stop the events of her visions, she just couldn't gather her thoughts. She figured she should buy a diary (she mused and the irony) to write down her thoughts and attempt to string together a plan on how to stop the events she foresaw.

Remus lupin was suspicious, to say the least.
Over the past few weeks Clementine had been staying over at his home, he had noticed some very strange things about her. The way she would forget to answer to her name, the way she snuck out every night and oh, how could he possibly forget her skin condition.
He had woken to the sound of a creaking window a few nights ago, and had instantly went to the living room in a fright to check on Clementine, only to find her makeshift bed empty and the window wide open.
He had rushed over to the window only to see something he could never explain.
There she was, walking barefoot across the field towards the woods.
Her long hair fluttered in the wind like silk, her baby blue nightgown swaying in the breeze. But it wasn't the fact that she had snuck out in the dead of night in nothing but her pajamas that made him concerned, no, it was the fact that she glowed. Like some sort of ghostly apparition sent from the sky. Using clementines words, he would describe it like shit from a fantasy novel.
He was seated on the couch with a stern expression when Clementine climbed back through the window.
"Clementine" the girl froze at his cool tone.
She turned her head in his direction with a fake smile upon it, "yes?"
Instead of asking why she had snuck out, where she had been or why she didn't have on shoes, he asked "why the hell does your skin glow?"
"Umm...Eczema?"
He hadn't managed to get a proper answer, and that just made things even weirder. What could she be hiding?

Amaris had traveled to Diagon alley today to pick up her school supplies. Remus had insisted on coming, but she knew it was the full moon tonight and he was going to be terribly ill. She had convinced him she'd be fine alone, and set off by floo.
Her first stop had been Gringotts, to pick up some money and she also had.. somethings she wanted to do. She wanted to change her label name to Amaris. Now that she had her memories back, the name Clementine just didn't feel right. She lived the name, it was what her Midgard parents had named her, but it just felt wrong. Amaris was her true name, and it always would be. And so she did just that. She was now legally named
Amaris Lily Potter-Black.
She was currently in Madam Malkins Robes For all occasions, being fitted for an entire new wardrobe seeing as she had no clothing other than the few garments she had stolen from Lupins own closet and the scruffy clothes she had been wearing that night in the rain.
When Malkin had first laid her mascara coated eyes upon the young girl, she had to do a double take.
Amaris had been getting odd looks all morning while popping in and out of the shops picking up her supplies.
Remembering just how Remus had acted the first time he saw her, she assumed it was because she looked like her mother.
An hours an a half later, and and Amaris was leaving the clothing shop with a single paper bag that was filled to the brim with tiny robes. Amaris had payed an extra 2 galleons for a timed shrinking charm to be placed on her new clothes so she could carry them while finishing her shopping.
She had 3 more places to visit before she could floo home.
The first was A wand shop named Ollivanders.
She was wary about getting a wand, she knew she didn't need a wand to perform magic, but she definitely needed one for appearances sake. What would people say if a presumed-dead girl with no magical education was able to perform such strong wandless magic? Nothing good could come do that, she was sure.
She stepped into the quaint little shop and a bell wrung above her head. She took a look around, rectangular boxes lined the walls and sat in stacks around the small room, long shelves behind the front counter stocked with even more. She heard bustling coming from behind the shelves and a little old man with grey hair peeled out, his eyes widened as he looked at her.
"Oh my, who do we have here" that man said with a disbelieving tone.
Amaris mentally rolled her eyes, if she was going to have to deal with reactions liked this everyone someone recognized her she was going to start throwing punches.
Or she could just make use of her new metamorphmagus abilities, but punching the ignorant twats would be funnier.
She decided to just get her wand and leave as quickly as possible, she couldn't be bothered with some old mans bullshit.
"That's doesn't concern you sir, I'm just hear for a wand" she said, faking a polite voice.
The mans demeanor seemed to drop "children these days" he tutted, spelling measuring tools much like Malkin had to measure her.
A few moments passed and he grabbed the tape measure from the air and hummed thoughtfully, turning around and plucking 7 different wand boxes from the shelf nearest to him.
He removed the lids and set them on the counter, pushing the first box closer to Amaris and nodding for her to pick it up.
"Give it a quick swish"
The wand was short and wide, with leaves engraved into the handle.
Amaris was reluctant to try it, scared how it could react to her already powerful magic.
She flicked the tip slightly, and every window in the building burst, sending shards of glass everywhere.
"oops?" She squeaked, instantly placing the wand back into the wand box.
This repeated 5 more times, except instead of the windows exploding, it was literally everything else in the room. By the time ollivander was angrily shoving the seventh box infront of her, the entire shop looked like a bomb site. Wizards and wizards from inside were gasping as they walked past, staring at the carnage Amaris had caused.
By now, Amaris highly doubted any wand would be compatible with her magic. She thought she'd probably have more luck finding a wand that worked by snapping a branch from a tree outside than in ollivanders at this point.
She sighed and looked down at the last wand infront of her. It was a pale wood, specked with white across its smooth surface. The tip tapered of into a fine point and the base had nice width, unlike the first wand that had been too thick. The very end of the wand was encrusted with a single opalescent crystal that seemed to shimmer in the light. It was truly beautiful. If any wand was going to be hers, she hoped it to be this one.
She delicately removed it from the box and gave it a slight swish, a bright white light beaming from the end and enveloping the room in its cascading light.
When the light dulled, both Amaris and Ollivander were relieved to find the room in prefect condition. Windows repaired, shelves stacked neatly once again.
"Well, young lady. It seems we have finally found your wand. A very unique wand at that, 12 inches, bleached Yew wood, demiguise hair, surprisingly swishy"

Amaris had hurriedly paid for her wand and began walking in the direction of a book store Remus had told her she could find all of the school books she needed, flourish and blotts. She couldn't wait to get home and show Remus her wand, she was just so happy.
When she arrived in front of the shop, she was swarmed by a herd of middle aged women.
And that's when she realised she had seen this very scene in her dream.
Using her small frame to her advantage , she crouched slightly and weaved her way through the crowy and into the bookshop. She needed to find the weasleys and somehow intercept Malfoy putting the diary in ginvervas cauldron. She. Had. To. Get. That. Fucking. Diary.
She stood on her tip toes, searching for a gaggle of readheads in the crowd. She spotted them after only a few moments and started to rush over. she wasn't watching her steps and ended up on her knees after stripping over some random man. Only, it was just a random man, it was Lucius malfoy. As soon as she realised who it was, she ducked her head and swore internally.
Of course she just had to go and fucking trip over fucking Lucius pussy arse Malfoy.
Getting up and brushing off her clothes, she said quickly "sorry sir" before attempting to walk away, not once glancing back in his direction. Before she could even take two steps, she felt something hard catch on her shoulder, keeping her in place. turning her head so her face was covered by red hair, she saw it was the top of a cane;A silver snake with piercing green eyes.
"You should look people in the eyes when you apologise, girl"
the blond man spat out.
Amaris was gripping the handle of her bags incredibly tightly. She couldn't risk him recognising her right now, she knew the news about her being alive would spread soon, but she wanted to delay it as much as possible.
As if someone above heard her internal thoughts, Lucius became distracted by the sound of his sons voice.
"Famous Harry Potter, cant even go to the book shop without making the front page" Malfoy junior snarled.
"Leave him alone" young ginevra Weasley ground out, stepping in front of Harry.
Amariss breath caught in her throat, she had completely forgot Harry would be here. Her hands started shaking.
"Oh look potter, you've got yourself a girlfriend" mini Malfoy returned.
Lucius removed the cane from Amaris shoulder and strode over to his son, slamming it down on his.
Amaris couldn't help but to wince, Draco would definitely have a bruise tomorrow.
"Now now draco, play nicely" the man said, a dirty grin etching itself upon his face.
Amaris walked over as mr Malfoy introduced himself to Harry. She grabbed a book from a nearby shelf and flipped it over to a random page. She silently walked closer and closer to the weasleys finally stopping when she was standing just a step or two away from ginny.
She peered over the top of the book when she saw Lucius pull her brother close and use the snake cane to swipe away the hair on Harry's forhead, revealing the scar. She grit her teeth.
"Your scar is legend, as of course is the wizard who gave it to you" Lucius practically purred out.
"Voldemort killed my parents and my sister, he was nothing more than a murderer" Harry said sternly, pulling from Malfoys grip.
Amaris felt uncomfortable at this, their parents may be dead, but she wasn't. She was standing only a few feet away from Harry and he didn't even know.
"You must be very brave to mention his name, or very foolish" Lucius drawled out.
A bushy haired girl went on to say something about fear of a name, but Amaris wasn't paying attention. She was instead searching Lucius malfoy with her gaze, looking for the diary. She spotted its battered corner peeking out from a front pocket on Malfoys expensive looking robes. When she looked back up, she caught the gaze of draco Malfoy, who was staring straight at her with an unreadable expression, though his eye seems questioning. She quickly averted her eyes back to the book she was holding, only to realise had been holding it upside down the entire fucking time. Great Norns, she was a fucking idiot, no wonder draco had been looking at her like that.
She quickly flipped the book over and carried on pretending to read, refocusing her attention on the conversation at hand.
"Let me see, red hair, vacant expression-
Amaris recognised this moment from her dream, and knew now is when she had to step in. She slid slowly in front of ginny until she blocked the view of the younger girl from Lucius.
When Malfoys head turned in her and ginnys direction and his eyes fixed solely on Amaris, he sneered. He probably assumed Amaris was a Weasley, going by her red hair and old clothes, she definitely could pass as one.
he hadn't saw her face, it still being covered by a book.
" -terrible manners, you must the weasleys"
Seeing as Lucius had no longer gotten the option to slide the diary into Ginnys cauldron, Amaris knew she needed a distraction to be able to pull the diary from the mans pocket. And if it was a distraction she needed, it was a distraction she would create.
When she lifted her yes up to assess her surroundings, she met the confused eyes of the red headed twins. All of the other weasleys were too busy silently fuming to notice her. She shot them a wink before she commenced with her new plan.
Taking a few steps in the direction of Lucius, Amaris continued her facade of reading. She took a final step closer to the tall man before "stumbling" over her own feet, practically flinging herself on top of the Lord Malfoy, causing them both to topple to the floor.
Lucius landed with a thump and a 'slap!' As the side of his face collided with the cold, hard concrete floor.
A collective gasp was let out by all onlookers and a deathly silence pursued it, as everyone watched as the young girl stood and scrambled to collect her bags that had scattered across the floor in the collision, mr Malfoy still laying on the floor too shocked to move.
"Oh my! I am so sorry! I hadn't been watching where I was going" Amaris exclaimed, sarcasm dripping from every word as she fought to keep back a manic cackle.
As she continued to pick up her belongings, she neared the Malfoy man and grabbed the diary that had slipped from his pocket a skidded across the floor when he fell. She placed it into the brown paper bags with her new clothing and stood straight. She dusted herself off, before looking down at Lucius, who had began to stand, a grotesque rage plastered upon his face.
Amaris looked back at the twins, who stood astonished as she them a cheeky grin, before sprinting out of the shop, not even taking a second glance at Harry. She knew Lucius would find the diary missing, and she knew he would not be happy about it.
She figured she would just come back later to get her school books
. She still had one last place to visit anyways,
Knockturn alley.
