Reunions
(Hogwarts: Main Hall)
Remus, Moody, and Hermione were at one of the tunnels that lead into Hogwarts that an alert went off at and went there to fight what they thought were death eaters. Hermione paused when they saw who it was.
“Harry” Breathed Hermione as Moody raised his wand as he notices the group that was with him
“Care to let us in?” asked Harry
“Patronus?” demanded Remus
“Stag” Answered Harry
“When did we first meet?” asked Remus
“You mean after I was born or on the express in third year where you were asleep” Answered Harry
“Who cursed your broom 1st year?” asked Hermione
“Voldemort” Supplied Harry
“You can come in, but they can’t” Stated Moody
“They are in with me” Retorted Harry
“Harry, Malfoy is marked” Reminded Hermione
“Not anymore” Stated Draco as he stepped forward and showed off both of his arms as well did Tracey and Astoria
“Fine come in” Stated Moody sighing as he let them pass as Hermione hugged him
“I was worried” Stated Hermione
“I had it under control” admitted Harry
“Where is Dumbledore?” asked Remus
“He should be along shortly” admitted Harry cryptically
“Why don’t we go talk to Minerva, she will want to know you are back” Stated Remus
“Lead the way” Stated Harry
(Hogwarts: Headmistress office)
Minerva was waiting in her office on the report from the alert, when the door opened, and she was quick to her wand.
“It is okay, they all check out” Reassured Remus
“Mr. Malfoy is a confirmed death eater” Argued Minerva
“He was, but I removed the mark” Shared Harry
“The Rune and Parseltongue book” Breathed Hermione
“Yes, can you get Ron up here too?” asked Harry
“Neville too?” asked Hermione
“Sure, just don’t let people know I am back yet” Stated Harry as Hermione turned to Minerva who nodded, and she ran out of the room as the room was silent before Ron and Neville barged into the room and quickly aimed their wands at Malfoy
“He is not a death eater anymore” Stated Harry as Malfoy showed off his bare arms again as Ron and Neville went and hugged him
“I’m fine” Stated Harry
“Why is Malfoy with you?” demanded Ron
“You said he was going to let Death Eaters into Hogwarts” Remarked Neville
“He was supposed to, but me and Draco made a deal, I would remove his dark mark in exchange he gave me important information. This information stopped the Death Eaters from entering Hogwarts the night that we fled” Revealed Harry
“And the others?” asked Hermione
“I also promised Draco, sanctuary. You know where I would take him, I had to get him out that night which is why I left. The deal included Tracey and she wanted Astoria to come along. I managed to get them out, but a death eater collapsed the tunnel” admitted Harry
“Blaise?” guessed Hermione
“Yeah, I tried to get back in, but the death eaters were surrounding the place and I couldn’t get back in at that moment” admitted Harry
“What about the quest?” asked Ron
“It is done, all seven of them are destroyed” admitted Harry
“Wait …. You told them” Hissed Hermione
“Under oath, I couldn’t wait for you guys and if Voldemort got spooked then it would be impossible to find them” Argued Harry
“You took quite a risk” admitted Remus
“I had to” admitted Harry
“Why come back now? And where is Albus?” asked Minerva
“Voldemort is going to attack soon; he thinks he has the advantage” admitted Harry
“Why would he think that?” asked Moody
“I pulled the second best prank on him, got live up to the Maurder name” Stated Harry with a smirk
“And what is that?” asked Remus amused
“Gave him one of them back” Stated Harry
“What” Exclaimed Ron
“Harry James Potter” Hissed Hermione
“Oh, didn’t he mention it was a fake that he gave him?” asked Draco
“Didn’t I?” asked Harry innocently as Remus laughed
“You … You gave him a fake? How did he buy it?” asked Neville skeptically
“Oh, apparently Kreacher had one. After I destroyed and it made him like me and he started to listen to me, so we had him make a deal to Voldemort for it” admitted Harry
“What did you get in return?” asked Moody
“My mother” admitted Draco
“It was a part of our deal; she is in a safe place, and she is not marked” Explained Harry
“That is a Maurder worthy prank” Praised Remus as Draco and Harry exchanged a look
“We had kreacher listen in, and Voldemort will attack soon we should get ready” admitted Harry
“We have been doing some training, I hope it will be enough” Explained Remus
“I will call the other Order members” Stated Minerva as she left
(Hogwarts: Astronomy Tower)
Harry was standing on the tour overlooking the grounds when he heard someone come up and turned to see it was Astoria.
“Astoria” Greeted Harry
“Harry” Returned Astoria as she stood beside him
“It all ends tomorrow” Stated Astoria
“Hopefully” Stated Harry
“Yeah, I just want it to be over” admitted Astoria
“Me too” agreed Harry
“Promise me you wouldn’t do anything stupid tomorrow” Whispered Astoria as she took his hand
“I will try” Promised Harry as she leaned on her hand on his shoulder
(Hogwarts: Headmistress office – next day)
Everyone was getting ready for the coming siege from the death eaters, the order members were meeting in the Headmistress’s office when Harry and Dumbledore walked in.
“Albus” Stated Minerva as she went and hugged him
“It is good to see you” Stated Albus
“So, you did fake your death?” asked Moody
“Alas, I thought it was necessary to do so. I am sorry for any grief I cause you” Stated Albus with a twinkle in his eye
“You know what we are up against?” asked Minerva
“Of course,” Stated Albus
“Where is Malfoy, Davis and Greengrass?” asked Hermione
“Draco wanted to make sure his mother was alright and will not be here. Tracey is helping Madam Pomphrey and Astoria is down with the others” Revealed Harry
“Of course, Malfoy ran” Sneered Ron
“I am sure, he will be here in time” Theorized Harry
“I shall go face Tom when he arrives” Stated Albus
“What about the prophecy?” asked Hermione
“I shall only weaken him; it is better this way” admitted Albus
“We should get down there” Stated Minerva
“Quiet right” Stated Albus as Minerva noticed that Albus still had his original wand
“How did you get your wand back?” asked Minerva
“I gave it to Harry” Stated Albus with a twinkle in his eye
(Hogwarts: Headmaster’s office – several months earlier)
Harry was called into the headmaster’s office for something important and came up and saw the headmaster with a box on his desk.
“Harry” Greeted Dumbledore
“Headmaster” Greeted Harry
“I want you to have this, I can’t risk Voldemort getting his hand on it” Stated Dumbledore as he gave Harry the box, and Harry took it and gasped
“Is this …?” asked Harry surprised
“It is, my Wand. It is not just any wand, have you heard of the Elder Wand?” asked Dumbledore
“I have” whispered Harry
“I have been in contact with Ollivander, and he made a convincing fake, he agreed to be obliviate afterwards. I want you to disarm me, to win its loyalty” Revealed Dumbledore
“If you think it is for the best” Whispered Harry
“I do” Stated Dumbledore as he took the wand in his hand as Harry disarmed him
“It has been a pleasure knowing you, Harry. I know you will go on to do many good things” Stated Dumbledore
“You too headmaster, I hope you like your next great adventure” Whispered Harry
“So do I” Stated Dumbledore
(Hogwarts: Main Hall)
The defenders were readying their defenses and were shocked when both Potter and Dumbledore walked through the door.
“Yes, the rumors of my death were greatly exaggerated. I am sorry for any grief I may cause you, me and Harry had to find a way to defeat Voldemort” Stated Albus
“And you found it?” asked a student
“We have” Stated Harry and just as he was about to respond, a voice was heard throughout the room, and it was familiar
“You are outnumbered and outmatched surrender and give up Dumbledore and Potter and we will let you live. You have ten minutes” Stated Voldemort through a sonorous spell
“I shall go and hold him off” Stated Albus
“Are you sure?” asked Harry
“Don’t worry, my boy. It shall be fine, stick to the plan” Stated Albus with a twinkle
“Of course,” Stated Harry
“Plan, what plan?” demanded Hermione
“You will know when you see it” Stated Harry with a smirk
(Hogwarts: Grounds)
Voldemort was with his forces near the edge of the wards and looked at tempus.
“Time is up, drop the wards we go in” Ordered Voldemort as the Wards dropped, and a dark mark was let lose in the sky as the death eaters and their allies marched on Hogwarts.
“Come and get me, Tom” Stated a Patronus that came up to him, one that Snape recognized but held his breath
“Bella, you handle the attack, I am going after Albus” Stated Voldemort as he walked towards the source of the Patronus, finding Dumbledore with his wand raised and he paused when he looked at the wand
“Ah I see you recognize this, Tom. This is the original you have a fake, I gave the original to Harry” Stated Albus
“I shall take it from your corpse” Hissed Voldemort as they traded spells
(Hogwarts: Main Hall)
The fighting was going as the Death eaters reached the inner grounds of Hogwarts. Ron, Hermione, Neville and Harry were fighting death eaters when Bellatrix approaches.
“Ah is icky Potter still sad about his godfather” Joked Bellatrix
“She is mine” Hissed Neville as a shield went up around Harry
(Hogwarts: Grounds)
Voldemort and Dumbledore were still exchanging spells until Dumbledore hissed and a shield came up and Voldemort paused.
“Weren’t expecting that where you, Tommy boy” Stated a Familiar voice which made Voldemort pause
“Where did Albus go?” demanded Voldemort
