Chapter 5

Evita smiled as she looked up at Regulus, who was as close to her as he possibly could be without actually laying on top of her. He had the most precious look of pride and adoration on his face that she had ever seen before.

"What are we going to name her?" She wondered, referring to the baby in her arms. Regulus thought for a moment before coming up with the most ridiculous name he could.

"Cassiopia Dottie Black" He stated. Evita managed to keep her composure for a split second before she began laughing.

"How about Beatrice Dorothy Black?" She suggested. She had taken careful consideration into her child's name; she wanted it to be perfect. Regulus broke into a grin; he already loved that name.

"Beatrice Dorothy it is" He kissed his wife, before going to let the rest of the family in, starting with Effie and Monty. Walburga and Orion were not there, mostly because they didn't want to be and because Regulus never extended an invitation to them. This was the best moment of his life, and he did not want it to be ruined by the presence of his parents.

Bee ended up being the jewel of the family. Everyone doted over her, and Harry of course, and showered her with gifts. Regulus made sure that she would never want for anything as she grew up, no matter how many siblings she ended up having, and she had a lot.

"BEE! We really need to be going. Your mother is in a lot of pain right now!" Regulus attempted to catch the two-year-old girl as she dodged past him. She had certainly grown up well, and she was quite pretty. Her hair was more brown than black, because of Evita, but she still had her father's curls and grey eyes.

"I am about to pop out another child so hurry up!" Evita shouted at him; her annoyance fueled by pain. Regulus finally managed to catch Bee and went outside to join Evita so they could finally drop their daughter off with her grandparents and head to Mungo's next. After much apparating, Bee crying because she didn't want to be separated from her parents, more apparating, waiting on doctors, being moved to a room, and more waiting. And then screaming, crying, yelling and more crying, Anastasia Esther and Caledonia Artemis were born. A few weeks later, they were taken home.

"So, next time, can it be a boy?" Regulus teased, laying down beside Evita after a tiring day of trying to wrangle three girls under the age of two.

"Next time? Are you going to carry a baby for nine months and push one out of a tight space in your body?" Evita wondered. Regulus' grin slipped.

"Well no...but I really want a boy" Regulus pleaded. He was more than happy with three girls, but there was always something different about having a son. Evita pretended to think about it, only frustrating Regulus more.

"Please!" He begged, giving his wife the famous puppy eyes that he knew she was helpless against. Evita rolled her eyes and smiled, laying down beside him.

"Maybe some day. But we have three beautiful girls right now and I think that's enough. Someday, we may decide to have another but not right now. Aren't you happy, my love?" Evita wondered. Regulus leaned forward, pressing his forehead to hers.

"Of course I am. I did not mean to sound ungrateful. I am very happy with our little family, and I will be fine if we decide not to have any more kids" He promised. He was happy, he had more love in his life now than he ever had before and he was going to make sure his girls grew up better than he or Sirius or their cousins had. He was going to give them the best life he could.

Not even a year later, Evita became pregnant again but, as it seemed, her and Regulus were not meant to have sons. Imogen Jacqueline was born. And three years later, finally, they had a son. Aristide Emrys. He was not the last of his parent's children but he was the first son.
