Golden Hour
The brilliant rays of sun streamed through the half open window, casting an ambient glow onto the disorderly room. Sirius slouched leisurely on the window sill, bathing in a sun-kissed glow, making his skin shine. His unkempt hair fell messily at his shoulders. In his lap, he comfortably cradled his beloved guitar, gently strumming the tune to an obscure Beatles song. Remus thought Sirius looked beautiful; the embodiment of a Greek God. The tawny-haired boy swept his eyes over the collection of tattoos that littered the skin of Sirius’ arm. Remus stood from his spot at the end of the bed and stepped over to his boyfriend. He perched himself opposite the other boy, entwining their legs together. Sirius looked up from the guitar, gazing at Remus with his ocean blue eyes. Remus’ breath still hitched in his throat, even though he’d been looking at those eyes since he was eleven. Sirius smiled his beautiful smile and linked Remus’ fingers with his own. ‘This is bliss’ Remus thought.
