Note
Hey, this is a new one. And I am still working on, albeit slowly, on Just so. Honestly you shouldn't expect much from this, I have A-levels going on so this will share time between homework and actual motivation and I'll either procrastinate on work and do this or procrastinate on both and do something completely unrelated.

Duelling

"Harry you're supposed to dodge killing curses." Luna's hair was dangling over his face, Azrael hovering just beside them.

"But they don't kill me though." Azrael grabbed Harry's hand and pulled him to his feet, flicking him on the forhead.

"Not permanently, love." Azrael flicked him on the head again and yanked him into his arms to hug him.

"Come on lets go see Gilly." He ducked Luna's smack and Azrael left for whatever meeting he had, Harry was pretty sure it was with fate. "Run and duel." Luna nodded and they chased each other through the hallways.

Harry hopped up onto the bannister, jumping off and rolling as Luna swung off the chandelier landing in front of him. He narrowly avoided the cutting hex and spun out of the way. They crashed through the door, Luna flying up onto the table and Harry following after, being stopped by someone clearing their throat. Luna narrowly missing an incendio that fizzled out on the stone behind her.

"Harry, Luna." Gellert looked incredibly fed up of the two of them, or of something else but either way.

"Oooo didn't know you had a meeting sorry about that." Harry flipped over someone's head and off the table, lifting Luna down.

"The showing off was necessary?"

"Well we weren't showing off." The both of them rocked on the balls of their feet. "We were duelling, we're really rather good at it." He glanced at Luna.

"Yes I believe we are." Harry snorted and they fell into a fit of giggles.

"Out." Gellert shot a stinging hex at Harry.

"Big Bad Dark Lord's Mad." Luna elbowed him and disapparated with a pop, straight to Tom's room. "Hey Kiddo."

"Do not call me that and I did not give you permission to come in my room." Tom hadn't looked up from the book he was reading, even at the sudden pop of appirition.

"Awe but you are a kid, to the both of us."

"Yes I imagine so, however I'd rather you refrained from saying as such."

"He's so stuffy." Harry stage whispered to Luna who laughed in response. "You have the heir room, which makes sense. How you doing?"

"You think I believe you care?"

"Awe Tommy I'm wounded. Of course I care, that's part of the reason I got you out of Wool's"

"And stuck me with a homicidal dark lord?"

"Well you never listened to me and this is new, we hoped you'd listen to another dark lord."

"If you're supposed to be keeping the past or future secret you aren't doing a very good job. Wait I thought you were immortal you time jump?"

"Well I am immortal but like I time line jump and I've probably left some really messed up time lines, I only leave them when Luna dies and we find another one. Depending on our mental states we'll try and fix shit or fuck it up."

"Isn't there a moral obligation not to do so, fuck things up I mean." Harry shrugged. "I'm going to assume you just shrugged at me."

"I forgot he was a snob even at thirteen."

"I might think he has the right to be." Luna closed her eyes laying back on Tom's bed.

"Oh right we did have a reason for coming, we wanted to know if you'd like to duel with us oh and whether you're moving to Durmstrang or staying at Hogwarts. You too Luna?"

"I'm not going back."

"Didn't think so, Tom?"

"I am unsure." Tom was still staring at the desk leafing through the pages of whatever book he was reading. "I think I'd prefer to stay with Hogwarts but the Durmstrang education would be valuable."

"We can always teach you Durmstrang education on holidays if you wanted and on the duelling front?" Tom turned around this time.

"I'd be fine with that and yes I would like to duel, I'm just going to finish this chapter, I have a few pages left."

"Mkay." Luna and Harry both lounged on the boy's bed as they waited for him to be finished with whatever book he was reading, neither of them needed to do much studying with how much learning they'd done but they also had to go over school stuff. It seemed the rooms were all pretty much identical aside from things in different places, or different coloured tapestries. Like Toms fireplace was to the right of his bed and the desk on the wall with the bedroom door, and the tapestries different colours.

"Alright I'm done."

"Cool. Up we go." Luna pulled Harry to his feet and they took Tom to the duelling room. It was a magically reinforced room, with practice dummies, scorch marks and dents in the stone.

"Its more fun duelling with you when you're an adult, life endangering too but you'll be able to get better duelling us."

"Very humble."

"We don't need to be our skills are practically unmatched." Harry grinned and Tom rolled his eyes. Their duel began and they both went easy on Tom which they both could infuriated him.

"Don't go easy on me. I can't get better if you do, which makes this exercise pointless."

"Fine. But you're still learning to do so we can't really duel you as you are without risking killing you however if we forgo magic and start teaching you hand-to-hand combat you'll have an easier time avoiding and attacking because a wizard won't expect it."

"I can see your point." Tom seemed to concede and agree to learning martial arts and hand-to-hand combat. Which of course began with simply building up body strength. Leaving the boy sweating and panting on the floor by dinner time.
