You walk into your house with a box that wouldn't stop moving, regulus was walking downstairs and he was confused "I am scared to get my present from you." Regulus says as he walks over and presses a kiss to the side of your head
"Well, actually I'm glad your here, you can open it now." You say and regulus was shocked
"Maybe I don't want to," Regulus says as the box moved again
"Oh come on just do it." You say and regulus nods and kneels down to the ground and opens the box which had holes in it, he tried looking through the holes first but couldn't see anything
He just opens the box and gasps shocked "You got me, my brother?" Regulus says looking down at the sleeping black German Shepard puppy
"Funny reg, but you said you always wanted a dog as a kid, but your mother never got one." You say and regulus nods
"She hated animal fur, so we couldn't get a pet," Regulus says as he carefully picked up the puppy and placed it in his lap
"Well, you can have one now." You say and Regulus smiles as he pets the puppy so happily, he actually looked like he was gonna cry with how happy he was
"Well I have to name hi—her I have to name her," Regulus says realizing the puppy is a girl
"Well, what do you wanna name her?" You ask and regulus thinks he couldn't come up with any names right now
"Princess? I don't know, Thea I like Thea." Regulus says and you nod
"Well hi, Thea." You say and regulus smiles so in love as the puppy stretches and uses its paws to cover its face in its sleep
"That is the most adorable thing in the world, besides you darling," Regulus says smiling at you and you nod
"Hey I can't compete with an adorable puppy, Thea wins most cute in the house." You say and regulus shrugs
"I can." Regulus says and you laugh and kiss his cheek
Regulus just watched as the puppy did a big yawn and regulus looked like he died of cuteness
"Look at that yawn, so adorable awww Thea baby are you sleepy," Regulus says and you smile he looked so happy and your glad you could make his birthday happy
"I'm glad your happy." You say and regulus looks at you and kisses you and you kiss him back but he pulls away when Thea made a small noise
"Thanks, love, this is the best birthday ever, except for the year you started dating me and made my boring birthdays so much better," Regulus says and you smile
"Of course." You say as Thea woke up and immediately started to want to play
"Well hey, cute girl you wanna play, don't you? Well ok if that's what's you want darling." Regulus says as he kisses Thea's forehead and you and regulus walk off as Thea was sniffing around now, confused by all the smells she smells
You both just follow her as she kept changing from confused to playful, even trying to grab her tail whenever it moved
Regulus just looked so happy having a puppy and you were happy he's happy, he looked so in love as he looked at the little puppy, the only time you've ever seen him look like how he looks at the puppy, is when he's looking at you
"Thank you love for the second-best birthday present," Regulus says and you looked confused
"What's the first best birthday present?" You ask as regulus picks Thea up
"You," Regulus says and your face went red
"I love you so much." You say and Regulus leans in and kisses you as Thea barks which made regulus pulls away and smile at Thea
"I love you too y/n thank you again," Regulus says and you smile even wider
