I look at the spell Sirius was holding and read it over, and practice the wand movements a few more times making sure I'll get this
We found this old book and there was a soulmate spell, we took it and I am the only brave one to do it
"Doubt you'll see lily, you'll see trash," Sirius says laughing and I sigh as I shake my head
"I'll prove you wrong pads," I say and Sirius shrugs as I then say the spell and so the wand movements
But right after I finished everything went black
When I open my eyes I'm in nothing but darkness I then look around and then suddenly I see me? What? That is definitely me but what am I doing here? I'm me I shouldn't be seeing me
But then I see y/n as in y/n black as in Sirius's sister who's one year younger than him
And she kissed the other me and they looked so happy? What's going on?
But after a few seconds of just looking at me snog Sirius's younger sister, it hit me
"Oh fuck she's my soulmate isn't she," I say and the other me nods which freaked me out no need to hear me I'm freaked out enough
When I woke up I woke up on the floor with Remus, Peter and Sirius all worried for me
"James, you fainted are you ok?" Remus asks and my head hurt so badly, but then I remembered what I saw oh shit Sirius is gonna kill me! Like y/n is his baby sister he's super overprotective over her, like if a guy even looks at her Sirius almost murders them
Now she's my soulmate what the hell world do you want me to die?
After I was on my feet and my headache cleared I notice y/n walking down to the common room
"You boys are still awake? What mischief have you all planned." She says and she wasn't looking at me she looked at Sirius skipped over me to Remus and Peter
Wait what? I never noticed that she never looks at me, I just noticed that
I then walk over to her and she didn't look over as she glares at Sirius
"We were just chatting but your right it is late," I say and then Peter yelled something out making me stop
"Wait James we don't get to know if the soulmate spell worked? Who did you see?" He says and I started to blush because she was right here y/n black my soulmate
"Uh, later I'll tell you later," I say as I walk off to bed as y/n shrugs she looked interested but I can't say it in front of Sirius
He's gonna murder me like I'm gonna die
|The next day|
When Sirius wasn't around and neither was y/n I told Remus and peter who I saw
"Oh no," Peter says and I nod my head as yes y/n black is extremely attractive she's Sirius's sister, of course, she is she's a part of the black family.
"Your dead prongs oh my gosh you're dead, I'm sorry but Sirius is gonna murder you," Remus says and I nod yeah he is, but since the spell, I can't get y/n out of my head she's all I think about now
"So you can't just choose another soulmate?" Peter asks me and I shake my head the book even said whoever you see you can't change because you can't change destiny
But destiny about to have me fucking killed
Sirius walks over and immediately asked about the soulmate spell, I don't wanna lie to him honestly he's gonna have to find out
So might as well just die now
"Sirius you can't get angry," I say and Sirius looked confused
"What you saw me or something? Aww, prongs I'm honoured." Sirius says and I sigh
"No not you but someone close to you," I say trying to hint it at him and block Incase he tried to hit me or punch me or something
"Remus? Peter?" Sirius says but right then y/n walks over and Sirius stopped someone close to him it then hit him I saw his sister "YOU SAW WHO NOW!!!?" Sirius yells and y/n looks at Sirius confused
"Yup," I say and Remus and Peter especially Remus we're trying to hold Sirius back from murdering me
"Sirius? Are you ok?" Y/n asks and I was scared Sirius is gonna tell her I saw her
"No, I am not ok!" Sirius says and I really wanted to tell y/n myself so I got Remus to drag Sirius away yelling how could you prongs
But like I don't choose who I see, so sorry pads but I didn't choose to see your sister. Before the spell, I would never dream of getting with y/n black, mostly because of Sirius and how angry he would have been
Now after the spell, she's all I think about and I wanna be with my soulmate, so sorry Padfoot but I'm gonna be getting with your sister
"Y/n can we talk?" I say and y/n nods
"Sure James." She says and I smile and we walk off somewhere quiet and far away from the screaming Sirius that could be heard in the distance still. When we were far enough I stopped and y/n looks at me "So what's up?" She asks and I sigh
"I did a spell called the soulmate spell and It worked," I say and y/n nods really confused why I'm talking to her about this
"What do you need help with getting close to your soulmate? It's one of my friends isn't it?" Y/n says and I sigh
"It's not one of your friends more like it's you," I say and y/ns eyes widen what? Huh? Yeah I know shocking turn of events
But then suddenly a wild angry Padfoot tackled me to the ground
"Who said my sister is allowed to be your soulmate, universe when I said I doubt lily please just turn it to lily!" Sirius says and y/n sighs
"Sirius shut up." She says and I wanted to say that as well but I'd get beat up right now
"Look Padfoot let me talk to your sister," I say and Sirius glares at me as Remus pulls him away
"I'm sorry about Sirius he's way to overprotective," Y/n says and I nod as she helps me off the ground
"Thanks," I say and she smiles as she nods
"So I'm your soulmate?" She says and I nod yup she is
"Yeah, I saw you snogging dream me and dream me nodded when I said she's my soulmate? If you want go ahead do the spell." I say and y/n shakes her head
"I believe you, you were totally in love with lily now your here blushing and trying not to stutter around me, obviously something changed," Y/n says and I nod well yeah that's kind of a giveaway
Y/n then kisses my cheek shocking me "What was that for?" I ask as I was getting more red
"Well nothing," Y/n says and I should probably ask her out now, right? Like she's my soulmate but I still kinda have to ask her out
"So you wanna go on a date or something? Then maybe you know date." I say and y/n nods
"Well, you are my soulmate so sure why not." She says and I smile but I know Sirius is gonna kill me later on tonight even more because now I'm going on a date with his sister
"Great I'll see you later," I say and as I was walking away y/n grabs me and pulls me into a kiss on her lips which I gladly kissed her back
"Yeah see ya, James." Y/n says winking at me then she starts walking away but stops "Oh by the way I've liked you since year 2." She says and I smile
"Oh, same just ignored it so Sirius wouldn't kill me," I say and y/n smiles
"Ah well then see you later James." She says as Remus, Sirius and Peter all walk over and Sirius just yells at me to not break y/ns heart, but well she's my soulmate I'd never break her heart
'I'm glad I did the soulmate spell because life is about to get so much better with y/n in it.'
