Later that Day... Raven Dinas walked into the Potions classroom and she sat down as listened to Snape as he told the class what we would be doing and learning this year. "Open up your textbooks to page two hundred and forty seven. You will be studying and re-writing the potion recipe, steps, purposes and the  ingredients that will be used in the creation of the potion. You will have two days to work in class to complete this assignment." Snape said as he looked out into the classroom. Raven took out a blank price of parchment, a quill and a small bottle of ink. She opened her textbook to page 247. She took her quill, dipped it into the ink and began writing.

"The Draught of Peace is a potion which relieves anxiety and agitation. It should be a turquoise blue when finished and simmered before being consumed. The effect of the potion is to relieve anxiety. She finished writing the needed information, she wrote her name and the date on top of the parchment. She then set the page aside and let the ink on the page dry. Once the page was all dry, she put away her things and  got up. She grabbed the parchment and went over to Snape's desk. She set it down in front of him before she went back to her seat. She opened her notebook and began drawing a picture of Snape, occasionally looking up and glancing up on him. Soon, the bell rang signaling that class was over. "Ms. Dinas, please stay after class." Professor Snape said as he looked at her. Soon all of the students left except for Raven. She walked over Snape's desk. She looked at him. "What can I do for you?" She asked looking at him. He waited for all of the other students to be gone. Soon they had all left. He looked up at her. She stood there in front of him with her notebook. "Why were you looking up at me, Raven?" He asked looking at her curiously. "I was drawing you, Severus." She said looking back at him smiling softly. "Can I see them?" He asked. "Sure, but they are not that good." Raven said feeling self-conscious as she handed over her notebook. He opened it and looked through it. Once he was finished, he smirked softly, close the notebook and handed it out to her. "It is really good. I wonder though, why draw me?" He asked looking at her. She smiled brightly and took the notebook. "I like to draw you because you are a very interesting and mysterious person." She said looking at him. He smirked again before thinking for about a minute. "Meet me in the common room after dinner," Snape said. "And bring a towel and a bathing suit," Snape added  looking at Raven. "Yes, sir." Raven said as she nodded gently. "See you later, Professor." She said softly as she grabbed her stuff and put it into her bag. She looked at him once more before she left the classroom.

After Dinner... Raven went into the common room up the girl's dormitory and got out a bag,  she put some ponchos, two knives, a box of matches and a lighter. She got undressed and put on her bathing suit. She then put her towel in her bag with a change of clothes. She took out her wand and pointed it at her bag. "Impervious." She said as white and green light came from her wand and surrounded the bag. After a minute the light faded, she put her wand in her bag. She put on her clothes over her bathing suit. She then went to the Great Hall and ate her dinner. After she ate she went downstairs to the common room where she met up with Professor Snape. "Today for your detention, you and I will be going out into the Forbidden Forest and onto the Black Lake to collect some potion ingredients that I have run out of," Snape said as he looked at Raven. She nodded as she grabbed her backpack and looked at him. "Okay then," Raven said as she looked at him. They then left the common room and walked out of the castle. They walked down the hill and into the Forbidden Forest. They were walking towards the Black Lake. She saw a small boat with two life jackets and two paddles. Raven went over, got into the boat and put on a life jacket. Snape did the same and used his wand to push the boat into the water. They sailed peacefully until a lightning storm came and hit the boat causing the boat to smash into a rock and break into prices. Raven and Snape were separated. Raven began to sink to the bottom of the lake because she didn't know how to swim. Snape saw her go underwater. He took a deep breath, went underwater and swam towards her. Raven saw Snape before she finally closed her eyes, letting the darkness win her over.

he opened her eyes. She was outside of a hospital room, she walked into the hospital room and saw her father standing by the bed. "Dad!" She ran over and hugged her father. "I missed you." She said. "I know, my dear. But it's not your time. It was mine, I was already dying." He said as he looked at her. "It was my fault, I am the reason that you are dead," Raven said as she looked at her. "I will never forgive myself." She said. Her father sighed. "That's okay because I forgive you, Raven. It wasn't your fault. It never was your fault, my sweet child." He said. "I need you to do something for me," Her father said. Raven nodded. "Anything." She said softly. "You need to forgive yourself, you must be strong and always remember that no matter what happens. I will always be with you. In here." He pointed to Raven's head. "And in here." He then pointed to Raven's heart. "You must go back. You have to wake up, Raven." He said. "No, I don't want to go and leave you here all alone," Raven said. "I'm not alone. I have my parents and my brothers here. I never was alone. So you have to go back." He said softly as Myla looked at him. "If I go back will I ever see you again?" Raven asked. "Hopefully not for a very long time. So go live your life, make friends, fall in love, be happy and make sure that you always try your best. Be your best self because the very best of me is in you." He said crying looking at her. "Make sure you live your life to the fullest. Have at least one epic love, and make sure you have a lot of stories, for when we meet again. I will always be watching over you. But now you need to go. You have to keep fighting, Raven. And No matter what anyone else tells you, you must always follow your heart." Her father said. She nodded looking at him. "Promise me you'll do this for me, My beautiful girl." Her father said he hugged her. She nodded crying as she hugged him back. "I promise." She said softly as she looked as they both faded away into the darkness.

Raven just floating in the water when Snape finally got to her. He grabbed her and brought her to the surface. He swam towards a small island in the middle of the lake. To his surprise, all of their stuff was shipwrecked on the island. His main concern was Raven, she didn't have a pulse. He got to the island and set her down on the beach as he performed CPR. Soon she came conscious, she sat up coughing out the water. She looked over at Snape. "Thank you, Professor." She said as she looked around. "We are stranded here aren't we?" She asked him. He simply nodded as he took off his cloak which wasn't wet at all and put it around her. "Professor, What do we do now?" She asked. "Right now we gather up our stuff." He said as he stood up. He offered her his hand. She put her hand into his. He helped her up. She looked at him as he just held her hand for a little bit before pulling away and began to gather up their stuff. She also began to gather up their stuff. "You can call me, Severus if you want. Can I call you by your first name?" Snape, I mean Severus asked her. "Okay, you can call me by my first name, Severus." She said, he looked at her. He didn't know why but he loves the way his name sounded in her voice.

Once they gathered up all of the things they could they went into the Forest and began to sort everything out. Soon they finished and looked at everything they had left from the boat crash was a box of matches, two paddles, two knives, four rain ponchos, a bucket, 2 life jackets, towel, Raven had a change of clothes, 2 wands, their soaking wet clothing, and a small ax. "Carve the two paddles until they have pointed ends," Severus said looking at Raven handing one of the knives to her. She took it and began to carve the paddles until they both had pointed ends. He then began to use a different knife to cut the seams of the ponchos, he then took off the straps and buckles of the lifejackets. He used the straps to tie the ponchos ends together making a large blanket type thing. Once Raven was finished, she gave him the paddles. "Thanks. Take the bucket and the compass to collect some water from the stream, Raven." He said as he took the paddles from her. She just nodded silently. She was slightly infuriated by him barking orders, she just stayed silent because it looked like he knew what he was doing. She grabbed the bucket and compass and began walking away, he watched as she disappeared into the forest. He then focused his attention on whatever he was planning on doing. He placed the paddles at pointed ends in the ground each other five feet apart from one another. He then used the leftover straps to tie the ponchos to the paddles. He then found two more large sticks and used them to pin the other end of the ponchos to the ground creating a large shelter.

Meanwhile... Raven went into the forest and just walked north until she stumbled upon a small stream of clear water, she placed the bucket underneath the water and filled it all the way up before heading back to where Severus was. While walking back she saw smoke. When she finally got back she set down the bucket of water and looked around for Severus. She couldn't find him so she went and began to look for firewood. She went around the campsite, collecting dry sticks to use as firewood as she began to sing. Read All About It by Emeli Sande.

"You've got the words to change a nation, But you're biting your tongue. You've spent a lifetime stuck in silence. Afraid you'll say something wrong. If no one ever hears it how we gonna learn your song? So come on, come on. Come on, come on, You've got a heart as loud as lightning. So why let your voice be tamed? Maybe we're a little different, There's no need to be ashamed, You've got the light to fight the shadows. So stop hiding it away. Come on, come on. I wanna sing, I wanna shout. I wanna scream 'til the words dry out. So put it in all of the papers, I'm not afraid, They can read all about it. Read all about it, oh, Oh oh oh×2." She sang out beautifully, voice like an angel as she collected the firewood. "At night we're waking up the neighbors. While we sing away the blues, Making sure that we're remembered, yeah, 'Cause we all matter too. If the truth has been forbidden. Then we're breaking all the rules. So come on, come on, Come on, come on, Let's get the TV and the radio. To play our tune again. It's about time we got some airplay of our version of events. There's no need to be afraid. I will sing with you, my friend. Come on, come on. I wanna sing, I wanna shout, I wanna scream 'til the words dry out. So put it in all of the papers, I'm not afraid. They can read all about it. Read all about it, oh. Oh oh oh ×2." She sang. "Yeah, we're all wonderful, wonderful people. So when did we all get so fearful? Now we're finally finding our voices. So take a chance, come help me sing this. Yeah, we're all wonderful, wonderful people. So when did we all get so fearful? And now we're finally finding our voices. Just take a chance, come help me sing this. I wanna sing, I wanna shout, I wanna scream 'til the words dry out. So put it in all of the papers, I'm not afraid. They can read all about it, read all about it, oh. Oh oh oh ×2. I wanna sing, I wanna shout. I wanna scream 'til the words dry out. So put it in all of the papers, I'm not afraid. They can read all about it, read all about it, oh." She ended the last note as she set the sticks and logs down in a pile next to the fire.
