Namgyu x reader fluff
“Namgyuuuu…” you grumble out, sliding out of the metallic bunk bed and padding across the hard concrete floor of the ‘dorm’ space. You reach your boyfriend's bed and shake him awake, tears pricking the corner of your eyes. “I had a scary dream…” you whisper to him, careful to not wake the others around you. He stirs and pulls you into the small bed. “Baby… Just stay here, okay?” He’s always uncharacteristically sweet when he’s tired, dnd you don’t mind, but it’s a bit odd. You nuzzle into him and he murmurs quietly, “what was the dream sweetheart?”
You begin to talk, voice shaky. “Everyone got attacked and you got killed and I watched se-mi die and Thanos too and everyone was dead and I was the only one left… it was so scary…” you start to cry as you shove your face into his chest, he strokes your hair as you cry into him “Oh baby… It’s okay, Please don’t cry. That’s not gonna happen… I’m NOT dying on you… We’re sticking together.” he comforts you and soothes you back to sleep, his soft words and gentle caresses all you need to feel safe and loved as you drift in and out of sleep.
You wake up the next morning, still and alone. You don’t know where Namgyu went, you’re confused at first until you feel a hand on your shoulder, “I’m right here baby.” His voice is soft, but a bit gruffer. You look up and see a smile on his face. He’s sober… for once, and it’s nice to see the real him, the him who you rarely ever got to see anymore. It’s sweet, and at least in this lifetime you guys are sticking together.
