As you step through the doors of the first game you look around. Other people around you are doing the same. Suddenly someone yells out your number, “Yoo!! 302!! You’re beautiful” a man with purple hair walks up to you with a smirk on his face. He looks so proud of himself. You look at him and laugh quietly. “Okay dude. Okay. You look… okay” you scoff, looking him up and down. Suddenly he grins and starts rapping at you. “You and Me Together Yeah I Feel The Power, Found them Hidden In The Weeds Yeah My Beauty Flower Red, Orange, Yellow, Green I'm A Legend Thanos” he looks so damn proud of himself as he finishes his rap, thinking he’s so creative and amazing.
“Ok, thanks man” you laugh awkwardly as he looks at you with a dopey stupid grin on his face. “Of course beauty flower” he says to you with a grin. Suddenly you see an older man rush to the front of the group and start screaming. He’s yelling about how he’s ’played these games before’ and how the doll would see you if you moved and shoot you. The man next to you, Thanos. Mumbled some shit about his dad and you laughed, maybe to ease the awkwardness or still the nerves that are buzzing inside you.
The game starts and the older man, 456 starts yelling at everyone to “FREEZE” when the doll stops singing, suddenly there’s a sound, one that shocks you to your core. A gunshot. Your eyes widen as blood spatters on your face. A girl next to you actually got shot, holy shit he wasn’t joking. You glance over at Thanos and see the same fear reflected in his gaze. As soon as the doll sings you start running, but someone grabs your arm. It’s thanos, his pupils blown wide and a grin on his face again. “Come on beauty!! It’s alright let’s have some funnn!!” He grins at you as the singing stops. More people get shot and he laughs to himself. You recognise all the telltale signs of a high but you can’t figure out where he’d gotten the source of it.
Eventually you make it across the line and Thanos successfully does the same, he still has a grin on his face as he winks at you and hurries off to his little group he’s quickly formed. Your mind is left spinning, and you feel alone until you get back to the bunks and a hand is on your arm. “Hey wait stop” he holds you back as you turn around, confused. “What do you want??” He frowns, “nothing!! I just wanted to talk to my beauty flower!!” He grins at you again and you scoff. “Okay dude… okay.”
That night as the lights go out, you toss and turn. All you can think about is that stupid guy. Thanos. His face is stuck in your head and it’s pissing you off. You can’t like him. You just fucking met him!! It’s… you… you can’t… UGHHHH!!! You didn’t get it. How you could actually like this pathetic wet cat of a man!! He was just… you don’t know… sweet? In his own way of course. The next day you’re woken up, you barely got any sleep. And as you wake up you instinctively look around the room for Thanos. You spot him hanging out with his friend and he looks over at you, catching you staring. “Hey!!! Look who it is!” His friend nudges him and he glares at him. “Shut up Namgyu.” He mutters before turning back to you.
You slowly start talking and eventually you decide he’s… not that bad, tolerable you guess. As you find teams for the second game he grabs your waist and pulls you close to him. “Hey… wanna be a part of my team?” He chuckles, breath close to your face. “Yeah okay… if you leave me alone” you mutter, pulling away with a glare. That causes him to laugh. Eyes sparkling and grin wide, “okay baby, message received” he says in between laughs. “Leave me alone…” you mumble, looking up at him. “Your stupid raps really did work.” His eyes widen and so does his stupid grin!! “Did they now?? Well then… NAMGYU YOU LOST!!” He yells at his friend, who just grumbles. “Stupid Thanos. Stupid bet.” Your eyes widen, “was that all it was to you!? A bet!? You don’t even fucking like me!?”
He grabs your hand as you try to storm away and you growl at him. “Get off me.” But he stays strong, “come on beauty flower… it wasn’t fake.. Namgyu just didn’t think you’d return the feelings, he said I was too fake…” Thanos tries to explain to you, eyes pleading. “Fine. Whatever. Just- don’t be stupid like that again okay!?” You grumble. “Okay, promise” he smiles again. A genuine real smile. “Thanks” you mumble, “it means a lot…”
Your team gets through the game and afterwards you’re sitting on Thanos’s bed, his hand in yours as he talks. He’s high again, rambling about something. But suddenly his gaze turns to you, “you’re pretty yknow… nice… I think I love you…” You’re shocked as he speaks, this is all moving too fast. Does he even know what he’s saying!? He can’t possibly mean it… but as you look into his eyes the feelings you see are genuine. It’s real. “I- Me too” you mumble, “I love you too.” The look he gives you is one of shock, excitement, joy, and love. And then, he leans close, and he kisses you. It’s soft, which is unexpected from the crazy man. But it’s real; and that’s all that matters. You return the gentle kiss. When you pull away he runs a hand through your hair. “Let’s win these games together beauty flower. We can do it”
