Katie heard whistling and it already is annoying and she saw a shadow on the curtains of the other side of the gate.
"Little pigs, little pigs, let me in!" shouted a voice that is familiar to her.
"Kat?" asked Harry.
"I'm good, Hare-bear." Said Katie.
A man opened the gate and Katie's eyes went big in shock and then she had to roll her eyes.
"Well?" Negan asked snarky.
"Um...Who are you?" asked the man.
"Oh, you better be joking. Negan, Lucille." Said Negan.
Katie winkled her nose as he showed him the bat that has cable wire around it.
"I know I had to make a pretty strong impression." Said Negan.
'And he still is an idiot.' Thought Katie.
Rick place a hand on her shoulder and then moved past her.
"well, hello there." He said as if he was flirting.
"ew. Gross." Whispered Katie.
After a few minutes, Negan lost his smile.
"Do not make me have to ask." Said Negan.
"You said a week. You're early." Said Rick and he open the gate.
"I missed you." Said Negan and stared down at him.
Katie winkled her nose at him being an asshole.
"Oh, Rick, come on out here, watch this." Said Negan.
This can't be good.
"Calling it!" he said and hit a zombie?
A zombie in the head with the bat and it fell dead on the ground.
Negan laughed.
"Easy peasy, lemon squeezy. All right, everybody. Let's get started. Big day." Said Negan and Rick seemed to recognise somebody.
"Hey, Rick? You see that, what I just did. That is some service. I mean, we almost get turned away at the gate. Who is that guy anyway? Do I throw a fit? Do I bash some ginger's dome in? nope. I just take care of one of those dead pricks that could've killed one of you." Said Negan and did a bow.
"Service. Hold this." He said and he came in and stopped at her.
Katie just looked to him, no fear.
"oh-oh! Who is this darling little girl?" he asked.
"watch it. The last time someone called me a little girl, I punched the asshole's face so hard that I broke I his nose." Said Katie.
"Oh! This kid has a temper, I like her, so I apologise, princess and tell me your name so I can apologise properly." Said Negan and she failed to fight a smile off her face.
"Katie, Katie Dixon." Said Katie.
"well, I apologise if I insulted you, Katie Dixon." He said.
"fine, you're forgiven since you don't remember me." Said Katie.
"remember, oh! Damn, you've turn into a fine young woman, haven't you?" he said grinning.
"And you're still an idiot." She said.
"so how old are you now?" he asked.
"28." She said, not wanting to get into the whole James gave her de-aging potions time again, again, again and again to make her age slower, but she manage to find an antidote to make her the age she should be.
"damn. Well, you've turn into a pretty lady and your friend?" he asked her.
"Harry. Don't mind him if he tunes out, he suffers from autism." Said Katie.
"poor kid." He said and walked past them, Katie smirk.
"good thing I know how to be evil when I want to be." She muttered.
Then she saw her big adopted brother, beaten up a bit, his hair long, and wore some kind of run suit that held an A in the middle of it.
"Da-Daryl?" she whispered, he didn't look at her but she saw him shake his head slightly at her.
They watch him for a moment.
"Hot diggity dog! This place is magnificent. An embarrassment of riches, as they say. Yes, sir, I do believe you are gonna have plenty to offer up. Hell, even Katie can join." Said Negan.
She and rick turn to Daryl with concern.
"Daryl, hey..." said Rick.
"Big brother, hey...." Said Katie.
"No. nope." Said Negan and step between them.
"He's the help. You don't look at him, you don't talk to him and I don't make you chop anything off of him." Said Negan.
Katie hissed.
"as for you, Baby doll..." he said.
"I'm 28! And I don't carry a damn doll anymore!" she snapped angrily.
"you don't look at him, talk to him....and I won't make you my wife. You can stay here or go to hilltop. Just stay out of it, got me?" he told her.
She looked at him up and down, her face in disbelief.
"Wanker!" she snapped and he chuckled at her bust out and turn to a girl in a cap.
"Same goes for everyone.....right" Said Negan as he got too close to the woman in the cap.
She looked to him and left.
"Lot of suspense there. I don't think she even knew how much. All right, let's get this show on the road. See what kind of goodies you got in the cupboard." Said Negan.
Okay, she is done.
"C'mon, Harry. Let's get back to the house we were at." Said Katie.
"Ah, no, no." said Negan.
"Why the hell not?" she snapped.
"you two can come along." Said Negan.
She scoffed.
"there's too many people, if so many people come, Harry will go into a attack or whatever, a melt down." Said Katie.
"fine, just a few will come if you'll keep your knickers on." He said.
"a few. Will that be all right, Hare?" she asked and he nod.
"suppose." He said and she nod.
"we brought aside half of the supplies." Said Rick.
"No, Rick. No. you don't decide what we take. I do." He told him.
She shook her head and put her long dark hair up in her ponytail.
"Arat!" he called out and a blonde hair girl with light brown skin came forwards.
"You heard the man. Move out!" she shouted, she had shout out loud that Harry jumped.
"hey, hey. Its okay, you're safe. It's okay." Katie said to Harry comfortingly.
"whoa, is he all right?" asked Negan.
"He needs a minute." She said and she tried to get him to look at her in the eyes.
"Hare, is it okay if I hold your hands?" she asked.
He nod and she did so.
"it's all right. You are safe, I'm safe. It's all okay. Just....calm down." She said.
He nodded.
"they're just gonna search the houses a bit, keep the process moving." Said Negan and turn around.
Katie sighed and rub her eyes, exhausted already.
"All right. You gonna show me around or not?" asked Negan.
He didn't answer. What the hell did Negan do to rick that could've cause him to be like this?
but aslo, why was Daryl acting like this? why couldn't he look at them in the eye?
"Well?" asked Negan, Rick walked past him tense.
"Let's go." Said Katie and followed him, trying her best not to look at Daryl, but it was hard! Fuck Negan.
This day turning out to be stressful, so she took Harry's hand and followed.
